A Study on Determinants of e-Learning Acceptance Intention: Focused on Service Convenience (e-Learning 수용의도의 결정요인에 관한 연구:서비스 편의성을 중심으로)

  • As education environment is changing rapidly and competition of education industry is more intensive, the importance of service view about education is increasing as a differential competitive advantage. This study attempted to investigate the impact of service convenience as a different competitive advantage on e-learning acceptance by using TAM. The purpose of this study is to examine how five-dimensional service convenience constructs(decision convenience, access convenience, transaction convenience, benefit convenience, post-benefit convenience) affect consumers' perceived usefulness, attitude and usage intention. For this study, data were gathered from respondents who bought or used e-learning services and analyzed by structural equation model. Among the five-dimensional service convenience constructs, two constructs(benefit convenience, post-benefit convenience) affected consumers' positive perceived usefulness, attitude and usage intention about e-learning service. The results show that management and investment to improve benefit and post-benefit service convenience make consumers' positive attitude and usage intention about e-learning service.

  • 본 연구에서는 개 방, 참여, 공유를 기 본 가치로 하는 Web 2.0의 대표적 트렌드인 UCC(User Created Contents)를 e-Learning에 접목하여 비즈니스 모델 설계시 고려해야 할 사항들을 분석하였다. 현재 초중등은 물론 대학, 직장, 평생교육의 주류를 형성하고 있는 것은 e-Learning이다. 그러나 기존 e-Learning 모델들은 콘텐츠의 다양성 미흡, 감성의 부재, 흥미 부족 등 해결하기 어려운 문제들을 가지고 있다. 이에 기존 e-Learning 모델의 단점들을 보완해 줄 수 있는 UCC의 개념을 통합함으로써 교육효과를 극대화하고 교육 주체자들의 교육활동을 보다 편리하게 도와줄 수 있을 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 교육 주체자들이 제작한 콘텐츠를 Web2.0 플랫폼에 적용하여 참여와 공유를 이끌어 내고 궁극적으로 교육효과를 극대화 할 수 있는 비즈니스 모델을 설계시 고려해야 할 사항을 분석하여 제시하였다.

  • Many of learners in cyber universities have experienced the difficulties of learning and participation because they have never participated courses of cyber universities before. One of main reasons why they have experienced the difficulties was that they might have not received systematic guidances of university system as well as learning supports, depending on their readiness of e-learning. Otherwise, they may have lack of supports frequently and finally, fail to graduate. However, few studies were conducted to investigate the e-learning readiness of freshmen and enrollees in cyber universities. The purpose of the study was to analyze the e-learning readiness and learning activities of freshmen and enrollees of A cyber university and to support them more systematically and get them to succeed in studying. In the results, there were no differences between the freshmen and enrollees in basic competencies of cyber learning as well as interaction, task performance, and learning methods.

  • 지식사회로의 발전은 전통적 교수-학습에서 방법상의 한계점을 극복하고 지식 활용을 따라 하기 위하여 지식경영(Knowledge Management: KM)을 도입하였다. 학교교육에서는 개인 학습의 관리와 성과를 향상시키려는 목적으로 e-Learning 을 추진하고 있어 이들 두 방법의 통합을 통하여 더욱 효율성을 높이자는 주장이 일고 있다. 급변하는 사이버교육환경의 변화 속에서 KM과 e-Loaming의 다양한 통합 사례를 분석하고 체계적인 통합 접근 방법을 소개하는 연구 자료는 그리 많지 않다. 이에 본 연구는 KM과 e-Learning의 통합시 성공요인과 장점을 분석하고 통합 사례를 통한 문제점 도출과 최적화 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Effect of Education Service Quality affecting Student Satisfaction in Cyber University (사이버대학의 교육서비스 품질이 학습 만족에 미친 영향)

  • This study investigates the effect of E-learning service quality toward users' learning satisfactions when moderating by users' study motivations at cyber universities. For this end, the E-learning service quality was measured with SERVQUAL which was widely employed in academic research area. From rich survey analysis, this study finds that the three factors of E-learning service quality such as concreteness, certainty, credibility and sympathy are statistically correlated with users' learning satisfactions, but the responsiveness is not. Also in order to test the hypothesis that the study motivation is a moderate variable, the three step regression analysis was applied. Finally, this research finds that the study motivation has the role of moderate variable to affect the users' learning satisfactions.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the factors affecting satisfaction and dissatisfaction of e-learning learner students using Kano model and Timko's customer satisfaction coefficient. The results of the analysis showed that firstly, the students are highly satisfied when it is convenient to learn visually and audibly, when the students can ask questions at any time, and when the professor was interested in the students. Second, the rational criteria and accurate evaluation of grades and assignments were confirmed as factors that should be satisfied. Third, unlike the results of the basic study that the students use e-learning due to the convenience of learning time and learning space and the ease of learning process, it is no longer an attractive factor to use e-learning. The results of this study suggest that it is possible to present effective directions for the development of e-learning education and strategic application of each factor classified by the two-dimensional recognition method.

  • 최근 가상교육에서 학습 기술의 상호 운용성을 기반으로 한 표준화의 필요성을 인식하고 여러 국제표준기관을 통해서 기반 환경과 컨텐트 명세 및 활용에 대한 표준화 작업이 이루어지고 있다. 이로 인해 e-learning 분야에서는 국제표준을 소개하고 체제적으로 AICC(Aviation Industry CBT Committee), IMS(Instructional Management Systems) Global Learning Consortium, ADL(Advanced Distributed Learning)을 중심으로 진행되어 오고 있다. 특히, 미래의 진보적인 e-learning 환경 개발로, 기능별 5계층으로 구성된 LTSA(Learning Technology Standard Architecture)를 제정하고 이를 통한 개발을 지원하고 있다. 하지만, 이는 시스템 구성요소를 정의한 계층 3의 경우 데이터 흐름 모델로 작성되어 현재 개발 수준과 일치하지 않는 문제점을 가지는 모델로 인정한다. 본 논문에서는 표준 모델링 언어인 UML(Unified Modeling Language)을 통해 모델을 재정의하고, 각 프로세스별 단계를 메타모델로 제시하여 개발과 아키텍처의 이해에 대한 문제점을 해결하고자 한다. 또한, 재정의된 모델을 기반으로 e-learning 지원을 위한 분석, 설계 프로세스를 정의하여 이에 대한 사례를 제시한다. 이는 아키텍처를 기반으로 한 메타모델과 프로세스를 통한 교육영역의 질의 응답 학습 도구인 QALT(Query-Answer Learning Tool)에 적용한다. 모델의 재정의로 아키텍처의 이해성 및 이를 기반으로 하는 교육용 애플리케이션 개발의 용이성의 증대를 기대할 수 있으며, 모델의 재사용성을 보장할 수 있다.

  • As e-learning studying is activated, learner's requirement increased. Therefore, need correct e-learning model augmented requirement of learner and new ubiquitous surrounding. In this treatise when, proposed to supplement studying contents relationship conversion service and cooperation studying service function to LMS that analyze existing e-learning model's limitation for ubiquitous environment e-learning model that can study regardless of, ubiquitously some contents and do based on SCORM ubiquitous-network and next generation sensor technology etc. Learning form conversion service senses a learner's surrounding situations and recognize his/her body condition using smart sensor technology and provides the learner with contents in the optimal form. Using sensing projects like Orestia and SOB, users can more effective collaborative learning service.

  • This paper derives the strategic implications of smart learning as a sophisticated alternative to e-learning through the convergence approach of e-learning and Bigdata based on the practices of developed countries. To this, this paper derives e-Learning status and challenges issues in Korea, and then, analyzes the convergence case of e-learning and data science in major foreign advanced companies and universities. In addition, this study conducts an awareness survey on Bigdata applied for employees of e-learning companies, and then derives a strategic alternative to the Bigdata convergence-based smart learning effectiveness in the industry with the analysis of the survey data.

Secondary Science Teachers' PCK Components and Subcomponents Specific to the Learning Environment in an Online-offline Mixed Learning Environment (온-오프라인 혼합 학습환경에서 중등과학교사의 학습환경 특이적인 PCK 요소 및 하위요소)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate secondary science teachers' PCK components and subcomponents that are specific to online and offline learning environment. Data collection consisted of survey, class observation, and individual interviews of twelve science teachers. This study used a theoretical framework of PCK for deductive data analysis and articulated codes and themes through the following inductive analysis. Data analysis revealed that each of PCK components showed different specificity to the online and offline learning environment. And subcomponents of each PCK component were different according to the specificity of the online and offline learning environment. Teaching orientation toward science had a specific orientation for the online learning environment, i.e., 'learning science concept' and 'lecture centered instruction.' Knowledge of the science curriculum had online-offline mixed learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., 'reorganization of curriculum' and online learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., 'development of learning goal' and 'science curricular materials.' Knowledge of science teaching strategies had online learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., 'topic-specific strategy', 'subject-specific strategy', and 'interaction strategy' and COVID-19 offline learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., 'topic-specific strategy' and 'interaction strategy'. Knowledge of student science understanding had online learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., 'student preconception', 'student learning difficulty', 'student motivation and interest', and 'student diversity' and COVID-19 offline learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., student learning difficulty'. Knowledge of science assessment had online-offline mixed learning environment specific knowledge and online learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., assessment contents and assessment methods for each.
