This paper presents an intelligent prefetching technique that significantly improves performance of hybrid fash-disk storage, a combination of flash memory and hard disk. Since flash memory embedded in a hybrid device is much faster than hard disk in terms of I/O operations, it can be utilized as a 'cache' space to improve system performance. The basic strategy for prefetching is to utilize sequential pattern mining, with which we can extract the access patterns of objects from historical access sequences. We use two techniques for enhancing the performance of hybrid storage with prefetching. One of them is to modify a FAST algorithm for mapping the flash memory. The other is to extend the unit of prefetching to a block level as well as a file level for effectively utilizing flash memory space. For evaluating the proposed technique, we perform the experiments using the synthetic data and real UCC data, and prove the usability of our technique.

Masan port is a representative port of Kyungnam region, and proceeds to work port development for the future. However, Analytical research related to current competitiveness and strategies for the future of Masan port have been little studied since then. Thus, the aim of this paper is to analyze the current competitiveness level of Masan port. To achieve this abjective, evaluation model based on empirical data was established. And then FHP-based index model that calculate competitiveness level of port was adopted. To analysis competitiveness of Masan port, Data from shippers calling at Masan port were collected. The result of data analysis showed that current competitiveness level of Masan port was 63.

Due to the great advances in e-Marketplace and changes in type of items purchased from the online market, it has been dramatically increased the demand of the storage and transportation under the special conditions such as restricted temperature. Especially, the cold chain needs the way to transparently measure and monitor the entire network in realtime because it has a very complicated structure and requires totally different criteria at the every different steps and items. In this research, it has been presented the performance evaluation metrics to make contract using service level agreement (SLA), the way to apply the smart contract based on blockchain, the structure of blocks, service platform and application in order to build cold chain which can prevent the risk factors by measuring and sharing information in realtime using block chain technology. In addition, we have proposed the way to store the measured performance and reputation of each player in the block using smart contract based on SLA. With the presented framework, all players including service providers as well as users can secure the information for making the rational decisions. When the service platform is actually built and operated, it seems possible to secure the information in transparently and realtime. Also, it is possible to prevent the risk factors or prepare the preemptive plans to react on them.

Currently, ITs(Information Technologies} performances have been recognized as an essential tool for terminal operations. However, there have been little research that analyze level of ITs performance on port operation. Thus, the aim of this research is to analyze current level of ITs performance of major container terminals in Busan and Gwangyang. To achieve this objective, we developed HFP-based index that improve pervious indicator for evaluation of ITs performance. And then, level of ITs performance of four major container terminals were measured by the collected data through face to face interviews. Finally, through this analysis, some findings including weaknesses of ITs performance and implications were discussed.

Recently public institutions' debt is growing therefore it became an important issue to the level that the government concerns about the possibility of financial burden to reduce the debt. Especially debt of public enterprises in metropolitan areas was in a serious state where debt in late 2013 was 43.2 trillion, which takes approx. 58.4% of 73.9 trillion of debt of all local public enterprises. Sound financial state of local public enterprises is important to public enterprises in metropolitan areas and it may affect seriously financial stability of local governments when public enterprises have financial problems. However, land supply business to form local industrial complexes or local demand for development of public rental housing business always exist; and vitalizing local economy and creating jobs through these businesses are very necessary to develop the areas. However, for local economic development, industirial land business and public rental housing business are needed. In this study, Gwangju Metropolitan City Corporation Ltd is used as a case study to evaluate the local public financial soundness via debt management assessment i.e.(using) the feasibility analysis in the urban development and housing development. As an improvement measure following the result of analysis, for the enhancement of financial soundness of urban innovation corporation, the government and local government shall evaluate and differentiate market demand, price competitiveness, and infrastructure of new town land development project to improve accuracy of project feasibility analysis. Another important insight is that there should be local government-centered management of liabilities of the local government and local public enterprises with the integrated liability management system to reduce the liability of the corporation and solve the issue of debts for local government. This study is significant in that it has analyzed cases from the theoretical aspect to secure financial soundness of national and local public enterprises.

지난 몇 년간 기업의 핵심자산으로서 지식에 대한 중요성이 증대하면서 지식경영에 대한 관심이 고조되어 활발한 연구가 진행중에 있다. 그러나 현실적으로 국내 기업들의 지식경영 현실이 어떤지, 지식경영을 수행하고 있는 기업에 대한 진정한 평가를 위한 지표가 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 이를 체계적으로 평가하기위한 기업지식화 지표의 개발은 매우 시급한 문제이다. 기업지식화 지표의 개발은 첫째, 지식경영과 관련된 학문의 기존 문헌 분석을 통해 지표개발을 위한 요인을 찾아내고 둘째, 이러한 요인에 대한 구체적인 평가 방법을 도출하고 셋째, 실증적 서베이를 통해 기업들의 지식화 현황을 분석한다. 마지막으로 분석된 국내 기업들의 지식화 현황을 통해 국내기업들의 지식경영 문제점들을 도출하고, 각 요인에 대한 향후 발전전략 및 세부 실천방안을 제시하는 단계로 진행된다. 지식경영을 위한 기업지식화 지표의 개발은 국내 기업들의 지식경영 현황을 분석하여 기업들이 어떤 노력을 기울여야 하는지를 보여주는데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 각 지표에 대한 성과를 높이기 위한 구체적인 실천방안을 마련함으로써, 현재 이론적인 수준에 머물러 있는 지식경영을 실질적으로 기업에서 핵심전략으로 채용할 수 있는 발판을 마련할 수 있다. 이를 위한 첫단계로 본 연구에서는 지식경영을 위한 통합 프레임웍을 바탕으로 기업의 지식경영 현황 측정을 위한 기업지식화 지표를 개발하고 이를 통해 국내 기업지식화 현황을 진단 평가하는 효과적 방법을 제시 하고자 한다.

Recently, product design innovation to improve user experience has been perceived as a core element of enterprise competitiveness due to the fierce market competition and decrease of the technological gap between companies, but there is insufficient services to support the product experience evaluation of small and medium-sized companies (SMCs). The aim of this study is to develop a web-based product user experience evaluation and certification system supporting product design practices for SMCs. For system interface design, we conducted systematic functional requirement elicitation methods such as user survey, workflow analysis, user task definition, and function definition. Then main functions, information structure, navigation method, and detailed graphic user interfaces were developed with consideration of user interactions and requirements. In particular, it provides the databases for evaluation efficiency to support the evaluation process above a certain level of performance and efficiency, and knowledge databases to utilize in the evaluation and product design improvement. With help of the developed service platform, It is expected that the service platform would enhance SMCs' product development capability with regard to the user experience evaluation by connecting the consulting firms with SMCs.

This study investigates the IPI (Information Protection Intention) of DHS (Digital Healthcare Service) providers by introducing PMT (Protection Motivation Theory). This study examines the effects of protection motivation, such as threat appraisal and coping appraisal, on IPI, such as ICI(Induction Control Intention) and SDI(Self Defense Intention). The research model, based on the PMT, adopted severity, vulnerability, reaction efficacy and self-efficacy as independent variables. The research model was validated through quantitative research, a survey of 222 DHS providers in South Korea, using structural equation modeling. The results show that (1) a clear awareness of the consequences of security threats increases the understanding of DHS providers on the severity of closure of healthcare information, and thus may decreases abuse of DHS by providers; (2) user confidence and satisfaction on the security system may make them be confident that they can handle the closure of healthcare information by themselves; and (3) although DHS providers are realizing the consequences of closure of healthcare information, they think that they are unlikely to encounter such situations. As a result of this study, venture companies that provide DHS need to provide contents that can continuously increase providers' security level in order to increase providers' information protection intention. It suggests that IPI is important through trust of healthcare service providers.

Information security is an essential factor that enables terminal to be operated. However, despite of this importance of information security, there has hardly been any research related to this topic. And moreover, current level of information security performance in container terminals has not been analyzed so far. The objective of this study is to evaluate current level of information security in container terminals. Through survey from the four leading container terminal operators in Korea, The results firstly showed that average of information security level of major container terminals was 71.7%. And from the results of data analysis, it revealed that the weak point of information security in Korean container terminals was security management, and in detail, lack of expertise of support group.

Using Technology Acceptance Model and flow theory as our foundation, this paper investigates the interrelationships among social influence, individual cognition, flow, and actual usage in the Web 2.0 environment. According to TAM, users evaluate perceived usefulness(PU) and ease of use(PEU) of information technology(IT) in accepting the innovative IT. Along with users' cognitive evaluation(i.e. PU and PEU), in case of UCC(user-created-contents), which is one of the representative Web 2.0 features, flow also has a significant effect on users' usage. Accordingly, the current study involve cognitive elements such as PU and PEU as well as flow of enjoyable state during using IT in exploring antecedents leading to UCC usage. On one hand, we consider the effect of social influence on users' cognition and flow toward actual usage because the more users creates Web contents, the more long-tail situation prevails on the Internet. Web 2.0 becomes a kind of social phenomena. The empirical results show that social influence affects positively both PU/PEU and flow. Users' cognitive evaluation and flow have positive impacts on users' UCC usage.
