In recent years, e-portfolios and webfolios have been highly vaunted as the next great innovation in education. Hundreds of academic institutions are variously studying, using, or innovating e-portfolio systems. Despite the presumed goodness of e-portfolios, some problems remain. In this paper we review the existing e-portfolio management systems, and propose and implement a novel system to overcome the limits of the existing e-portfolio management systems. The propose e-portfolio management system has a structure of competition with others. All of the student's activities are accomplished and preserved within the same personal web space like a blog with mutual engagements and recommendations.

This study is aimed to overcome the limitation of traditional learning competence and career management system, and conducted to design the function of integrated ePortfolio and the elements of the system for administrative control of curricular and extracurricular program of the university as well as to develop a printout-based prototype in the context of S-university. Researchers deducted the main menus and functions of the integrated ePortfolio by two experts validification procedures, searched for the subfunctions, and secured their validity. Mainly 6 elements of integrated ePortfolio system are designed as follows: basic information, learning and competence management, course and career management, portfolio management, and community. Among these, the three elements of learning and competence, course and career, and portfolio management are assessed as excellent and differentiated from traditional ePortfolios. The study also developed a printout-based prototype of ePortfolio system and provided authentic guide for the ePortfolio system. At the same time, the result of the study contributed to increasing the sense of the developmental direction of the ePortfolio in the institute.

e-Portfolio is a useful tool that enhances students' learning competency. This paper introduces 'K-folio' which is an e-Portfolio system. K-folio is currently being implemented throughout campus. K-folio is designed to apply the theoretical framework for college level e-Portfolio. We chose RAD(Rapid Application Development) as our development method which we designed to gradually improve system's capability and usability by reflecting and implementing the suggestions of students and instructors. This paper has the following contributions: first, it proposes the e-Portfolio implementation model that is more applicable to the college environment. second, the study identifies RAD as the most suitable method for e-Portfolio development. third, it mentions important technical implications regarding the development and operation for their e-Portfolio.

In the recent years, a variety of projects have been conducted in order to enhance competitiveness of leading businesses and their followers in the market. Accordingly, the importance of project portfolio management has risen in the open market industry. Project portfolio management refers to crucial decision-making processes which aim to maximize benefits by selecting projects most suitable for a strategic objective among multiple projects with limited resources. In this study, the trend of project portfolio management studies is introduced. The study also presents a mathematical model of the problem, which aims at maximizing project values, possibility, and similarity between projects in the limited resources. We use the genetic algorithm to obtain the priority orders of projects. In order to verify this study, we compare the results of this study and the existing schedules of the E-open market in South Korea. This study ultimately reduces project risks, improves efficiency of development and continuity of tasks by properly ordering projects and assigning developers to the projects.

최근 e-러닝에서 대두되고 있는 중요한 문제는 곳곳에 산재되어 있는 학습자의 포트폴리오 정보를 표준화 하여 기록하고 이를 학습자의 학습에 다시 활용해야 한다는 것이다. 이를 위해서는 학습자의 포트폴리오의 공유를 위해 포트폴리오의 표준화와 통합 및 관리하는 방법이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 개인의 학습이 여러 기관이나 여러 이러닝 사이트를 통해 이루어 지는 상황을 가정하고 포트폴리오를 IMS에서 발표한 ePortfoliio로 표현하며, 이를 Apache Axis를 사용하여 웹 서비스로 관리한다. 기록된 포트폴리오는 필요에 의해 하나로 통합하고 이를 기반한 역량 온톨로지로 변환되어 학습자의 다음 학습에 필요한 콘텐츠를 제시하는 근거로 활용할 수 있도록 하였다.

e-Portfolio in e-Learning environment is defined as the results which either teachers or learners systematically manage global contents related to their teaching and learning, respectively. When the e-Portfolio is applied to their work including teaching and learning, it is very useful for both teachers and learners to prepare their teaching plan, and to get the opportunity of their reflection by checking out their learning output, respectively. To generate e-Portfolios, there are two ways; one for collecting it directly from teachers and learners and another for collecting it automatically as a result of learning activities through e-learning system. In this paper, for efficient management of e-Portfolio, the data is layered, classified, restructured, and provided for users' purposes and various situations. Users can construct their own e-Portfolios by adding their own logic with their purposes in different situations.

Portfolio has recently come to gain more attention from school as an alternative evaluation tool and a self-reflective learning tool for learning. After literature reviews about the case studies on the use of portfolio in higher education including both universities in Korea and abroad, this study attempted, first, to analyze the current e-portfolio system running in Kyung Hee University for the undergraduate students starting from the spring semester, 2010, and then, suggested the ways the system can be more actively utilized among the students, and simultaneously, acquiring more interest and participation from both the faculty members and the school administrators. The data collected from the survey and reflective journals of the students suggested 1) more user-friendly, easy-to-edit version of the system, 2) more diverse modes and functions of the system which, therefore, are able to adjust well to the specific and unique features of subjects or majors of the students, and 3) collaborative learning environments among the students and between the students and the faculty members from which students can share, participate, interact with each other, getting useful feedback from those co-learners and faculty members. Eventually the study aimed to enhance the recognition of the participants about the importance of portfolio as a learning tool for self-reflective learning and authentic evaluation of the students.

In this study, we intend to design and embody web-based Student Management Total System by constructing DB of students' e-portfolios, school records and counselling data etc. And our ultimate goal with this system is helping teachers to carry out more effective career education geared to each individual student's talent and aptitude by integrating and sharing information about their career on the web site systematically.

UN 산하 국제해사기구(IMO)는 2020년 국제적인 시행을 목표로 e-내비게이션 분야의 국제기술표준 개발을 추진 중에 있다. e-내비게이션은 차세대 해양안전 종합관리시스템으로서 각종 해상 운항정보를 디지털화 해 선박 운항자에게 실시간 맞춤형 정보를 제공해 준다. 해수부는 2020년 이후 약 1,000조원의 시장이 열릴 것으로 내다보고 있으며, 진입 장벽이 높은 해양 장비 시장에 우리나라도 ICT 강점을 바탕으로 주도권을 잡기 위해 노력중이다. 이를 위하여 한국과 미국의 e-내비게이션 분야의 핵심기술 중심으로 기술분야별 특허동향, 기술시장 성장 단계, 국가간 기술경쟁력, 그리고 특허 Key Player별 보유 특허 포트폴리오, 피인용 분석을 통한 경쟁력, 특허 거래 및 소송 분석을 통하여 양 국가의 기술개발 동향을 파악하고자 한다.

As basic data about students' career education in high school are being managed only in forms of NEIS, which is supported by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and the information for career education that homeroom teachers have operated by off-line system, it is hard to use them as practical decision support system for students' career education. In this study, we intend to design and embody web-based Student Management Total System by constructing DB of students' e-portfolios, school records and counselling data etc. As a result, teachers can carry out vocational education that is considered students' talents and aptitude, and we have a goal for promoting the growth of the students as the national human resources who have sound occupational consciousness through this education.
