With the upcoming Digital age, it is time to develop digitalized contents based on cultural basis. in this respect, Kimchi is one of the most primal cultural content signifying Korean culture. It's no doubt the time to initiate the movement to digitalize the contents concerning Kimchi by gathering materials on the origin of Kimchi culturally and a great value to revive digital contents regarding Kimchi. Therefore, in this research, it is regarded that Kimchi is one of the most prominent cultural value that is possible to inherit from generations and should be stratified on the database. A method explaning Korean Kimchi culture is sought in this paper. And It is focused on the culture of Korean Kimchi profoundly and focus on detailed context and varied styles of he digital contents. It is organized on the basis of various aged volumes regarding Kimchi classified by seasons, ingredients, Jonga Kimchi (Kimchi inherited from the oldest family by generations), 24 seasonal divisions of the year, and 8 regional divisions of the nation. It is planned to set up digitally-focused library regarding cultural origin of contents and to present solidity and a feeling of being dynamic The results could be used in a variety of Industries in tourism, education, Kimchi and building basic infrastructure in entertainment industry. It is also applied to specialized industry by providing cultural contents and it could contribute to activation of Kimchi industry with e-Market and portal site regarding Kimchi. Moreover, it may re-establish the cultural value of Kimchi and provide the infrastructure in Kimchi-related industry such as Kimchi cyber museum, Kimchi Expo, Kimchi town by using educational materials in Education industry fields (regular curriculum and experience tour).

In this study, a mass-spring model is used to dynamically describe and calculate the shape and movement of a mid-water trawl system. This mathematical model theorizes that the factors constituting the system are the material points and the external forces such as hydrodynamic load, gravity, and buoyancy act on these material points. In addition, it surmises that these material points are connected to each other by springs, the springs do not have any mass, and the internal force acts on these springs. The non-linear differential equations are implicitly integrated with time for guaranteeing a stable solution. The dynamic simulation by the mass-spring model shows the status of the gear such as fishing gear depth, distance between doors, shape of the gear, and tension of each line. It depends on the parameters such as towing force, warp length, force of a sinker, buoyancy of a float, type of door and netting materials. The validity of the model is verified by comparing simulation motions of a trawl system obtained from computed values to those from an actual experiment.

This paper deals with characteristics analysis of a permanent magnet (PM) linear generator using analytical methods for wave energy harvesting. The wave energy is carried out from the movement of a yo-yo system. A linear generator using permanent magnets to generate a magnetic force itself does not require a separate power supply and has the advantage of simple maintenance. In addition to the use of a rare earth, a permanent magnet having a high-energy density can be miniaturized and lightweight, and can obtain high energy-conversion efficiency. We derived magnetic field solutions produced by the permanent magnet and armature reaction based on 2D polar coordinates and magnetic vector potential. Induced voltage is obtained via arbitrary sinusoidal input. In addition, electrical parameters are obtained, such as back-EMF constant, resistance, and self- and mutual-winding inductances. The space harmonic method used in this paper is confirmed by comparing it with finite element method (FEM) results. These facilitate the characterization of the PM-type linear generator and provide a basis for comparative studies, design optimization, and machine dynamic modeling.
In cases of water pollution accidents, accurate prediction for arrival time and concentration of contaminants in a river is essential to take proper measures and minimize their impact on downstream water intake facilities. It is critical to fully understand the behavior characteristics of contaminants on river surface, especially in case of oil spill accidents. Therefore, in this study, the effects of main parameters of advection and diffusion of contaminants were analyzed and validated by comparing the results of Lagrangian particle tracking (LPT) simulation of Environmental Fluid Dynamic Code (EFDC) model with those of Global Position System (GPS)-equipped drifter experiment. Prevention scenario modeling was accomplished by taking cases of movable weir operation into account. The simulated water level and flow velocity fluctuations agreed well with observations. There was no significant difference in the speed of surface particle movement between 5 and 10 layer modeling. Therefore, 5 layer modeling could be chosen to reduce computational time. It was found that full three dimensional modeling simulated wind effects on surface particle movements more sensitively than depth-averaged two dimensional modeling. The diffusion range of particles was linearly proportional to horizontal diffusivity by sensitivity analysis. Horizontal diffusivity estimated from the results of GPS-equipped drifter experiment was 0.096 m2/sec, which was considered to be valid for applying the LPT module in this area. Finally, the scenario analysis results showed that particle movements could be stagnant when discharge from the upstream weir was reduced, implying the possibility of securing time for mitigation actions such as oil boom installation and wiping oil contaminants. The outcomes of this study can help improve the prediction accuracy of particle tracking simulation to establish the most suitable mitigation plan considering the combination of movable weir operation.
This study has developed the index for diagnosis on possibility that typhoons (TYs) affect Korea. This index is closely related to the strength of the western North Pacific high (WNPH), which is calculated as a difference in meridional wind between at the highest correlation area (around Korea) and at the lowest correlation area (sea southeast of Japan) through a correlation analysis between TC frequency that affects Korea and 500 hPa meridional wind. In low frequency years that selected from Korea affecting TC index, anomalous northeasterly is strengthened from Korea to the South China Sea because the center of anomalous anticyclonic circulation is located to northwest of Korea. Thus, TCs tend to move westward from the sea east of the Philippines to the mainland China. On the other hand, in high frequency years, anomalous southwesterly serves as steering flow that more TCs move toward Korea because the center of anomalous anticyclonic circulation is located to sea east of Japan. Consequently, this study suggests that if this index is calculated using real time 500 hPa meridional winds that forecasted by dynamic models during the movement of TCs, the possibility that TCs approach Korea can be diagnosed in real time.

Macroglossia is an obstacle in regard to general prosthodontic restoration. Not only is it difficult to obtain support and stability from dentures manufactured from normal protocol, obtaining efficacy from basic mastication is also difficult. In such cases, realizing harmony between the occlusion and surrounding muscle structures may be important with regard to manufacture of stable full dentures, and it is necessary to form the appropriate polished surface for this case. The neutral zone is defined as the potential area resulting from the neuromuscular function that results in equilibrium between the outward force exerted by the tongue and the inward force exerted by the lips and cheeks. The artificial teeth of the full denture lies in this area, and if the polished zone follows the anatomic form of the dynamic muscles, the movement of the muscles simply acts as an element of stabilizing the dentures improving the esthetics through facial support.

The intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) with a multileaf collimator (MLC) requires the conversion of a radiation fluence map into a leaf sequence file that controls the movement of the MLC during radiation treatment of patients. Patient dose verification is clinically one of the most important parts in the treatment delivery of the radiation therapy. The three dimensional (3D) reconstruction of dose distribution delivered to the target helps to verify patient dose and to determine the physical characteristics of beams used in IMRT. A new method is presented for the pretreatment dosimetric verification of two dimensional distributions of photon intensity by means of Beam Intensity Scanner System (BISS) as a radiation detector with a custom-made software for dose calculation of fluorescence signals from scintillator. The scintillator is used to produce fluorescence from the irradiation of 6MV photons on a Varian Clinac 21EX. The BISS reproduces 3D- relative dose distribution from the digitized fluoroscopic signals obtained by digital video camera-based scintillator(DVCS) device in the IMRT. For the intensity modulated beams (IMBs), the calculations of absorbed dose are performed in absolute beam fluence profiles which are used for calculation of the patient dose distribution. The 3D-dose profiles of the IMBs with the BISS were demonstrated by relative measurements of photon beams and shown good agreement with radiographic film. The mechanical and dosimetric properties of the collimating of dynamic and/or step MLC system alter the generated intensity. This is mostly due to leaf transmission, leaf penumbra and geometry of leaves. The variations of output according to the multileaf opening during the irradiation need to be accounted for as well. These phenomena result in a fluence distribution that can be substantially different from the initial and calculative intensity modulation and therefore, should be taken into account by the treatment planning for accurate dose calculations delivered to the target volume in IMRT.
The SPECT radiopharmaceuticals labeled with I-123 for dopamine transporter imaging have been used to measure dopamine transporters in patients with movement disorders. However, a cyclotron produced I-123 limits its availiability and ease of use as a radioisotope to be labeled with pharmaceuticals in routine clinical diagnostic procedures. Recently, new radiophannaceuticals for Tc-99m which has optimal characteristic for SPECT imaging have been developed to overcome the limits of using I-123. The purpose of this study was to compare the quality of [Tc-99m]TRODAT-1 with [I-123]IPT SPECT data and then to evaluate the usefulness of [Tc-99m]TRODAT-1 SPECT by using three noninvasive simplified quantitative methods. TRODAT-1 labeled with Tc-99m($15.93{\pm}0.82mCi$) and IPT labeled with I-123($6.60{\pm}0.11mCi$) were injected into five normal controls. Dynamic [Tc-99m]TRODAT-1 SPECT scans of brain were performed for 10 minutes each over 180 minnutes, and for 20 minutes at 4 hrs and 5 hrs. [I-123]IPT SPECT scans were performed for 5 minutes each over 120 minutes. Time activity curves were generated for the left basal ganglia(LBG), right basal ganglia(RBG), and occipital cortex(OCC). Dopamine transporter parameters were ohtained using (BG-OCC)/OCC, graphical method($R_V$), and area ratio method($R_A$). TRODAT-1 and IPT SPECT imaging showed high uptake at the level of the basal ganglia. (BG-OCC)/OCC ratios for TRODAT-1 and IPT were $0.80{\pm}0.14$, and $3.22{\pm}0.81$, $R_Vs$ were $0.62{\pm}0.12$, and $2.30{\pm}0.35$, and $R_As$ were $0.37{\pm}0.08$ and $1.73{\pm}0.31$, respectively. In conclusion, further improvement of [Tc-99m]TRODAT-1 imaging characteristics may be required to estimate the dopamine transporter concentrations in human brains although it shows clear BG localization.
This paper examines users' emotion from both 2D and 3D web interfaces and finds their differences. First, 77 words representing users' emotion were collected from the previous research papers. Second, a web survey system was developed using these collected words and prepared 3 web interface prototypes to collect users' emotions from different types of web interfaces. Finally, a web survey was conducted and its results were analyzed. The result of the survey showed that there were emotional words that were commonly experienced from either 2D or 3D web interfaces. However, it also showed that there were emotional differences between 2D and 3D web interface; 3D web interfaces provide users with specific emotional experiences because of their own characteristics - depth and dynamic movement. It is believed that the words collected from the survey could be the criteria to evaluate the quality of the 3D web interfaces and encourage the research on users' emotion from 3D interfaces.

In this paper, the particle size, bulk density, friction coefficient and angle of repose were measured for the automatic processing of solar salt, which was classified with 5 levels of moisture content (16.5, 13.2, 8.2, 4.9, 3.7%). Average diameter was 1.98~1.60mm according to moisture content, and bulk density increased with increasing moisture content. As a result of measuring the coefficient of dynamic friction, the maximum value was shown in the stainless steel plate according to the material, and ABS plate and acrylic plate were lower in the order. Movement occurred at the moisture content of 8.2% or less, and the empty angle of repose was increased and the filling angle of repose was decreased as the moisture content increased.
