Characteristic analysis of linear switched reluctance motor according to switching condition (스위칭 조건에 따른 리니어 스위치드 릴럭턴스 전동기의 특성 해석)

  • This paper deals with characteristic analysis of Linear Switched Reluctance Motor (LSRM) according to switching condition. When approved current in each phase by decided position, we made sure current and voltage according to turn-on, turn-off. In dynamic simulation of LSRM, through an experiment, we decided turn-on position of inductance profile. Also, we presented dynamic characteristic analysis model which is consisted at motor and sensor signal part, etc., and substitute circuit constant that get using magnetic equivalent circuit method, we confirmed current and voltage waveform.

An Analysis of Static and Dynamic Characteristics of Torque Motor (토크모터의 정특성과 동특성 해석)

  • In the early of 1950, the high response magnetic torque motor was developed for driving electro-hydraulic servo valves. Since then it has been broadly used for industrial application and the research of development or improvement of the torque motor is still being conducted. The purpose of this study is to present useful design criteria for the torque motor design. For this, torque motor is modelled and linearized. The static characteristics of the torque motor are investigated by direct computation of the derived linearlized equations. The dynamic characteristics of the torque motor are investigated with the derived transfer function by using Matlab and compared with the results of the linearlized analysis by using AMESim simulation with actual values of the physical parameters. Finally, the design criteria obtained from the analysis are reviewed.

  • This paper deals with the dynamic characteristic analysis of a linear synchronous motor with surface type permanent magnets using time-stepped finite clement method. The secondary back-iron conductivity is considered in the field analysis. As a result, we can investigate dynamic characteristics as well as some performances like attractive force and input power.

  • Welding variables and condition in gas metal arc welding (GMAW) effect on the weld quality and productivity, extensive research efforts have been made to analyze the welding variables and conditions. In this study dynamic behavior of GMAW system is investigated using the chararcteristic equations of the power supply. wire and welding arc. Characteristic equation of wire is modified to include the effect of droplets attached at the electrode tip. The dynamic characteristics of arc length, current, voltage with respect to the step, ramp inputs of CTWD was simulated. From results of simulation, some predictions about dynamic characteristics of GMAW and welding process are available. The proposed simulator and results appear to be utilized to determine the proper welding conditions, to be improved by considering power supply dynamic characteristics.

  • This paper describes the operating characteristic analysis of PM-type magnetic circuit breaker for electromagnetic field, electric circuit and mechanical motion problems. Transient calculations based up 2D finite element magnetic field solution including non-linearity of materials. Change of dynamic characteristic from eddy current in mover is quantified from FEM analysis.

  • The purpose of this paper is that investigates the dynamic behavior characteristic of W.T.S(Wind turbine System) and carries out the evaluation analysis during operating W.T.S. To investigate the dynamic behavior characteristic of W.T.S, the experiments to measure vibration of the blade from the attached accelerometer on the flap and edge section of the blade that is one of the most important elements of dynamic characteristic of W.T.S are performed. Natural frequency and mode shape are calculated with commercial program (ANSYS) using the measured vibration acceleration that receives the signal with F.F.T Analyzer from the accelerometer. For validation of these experiments, the finite element analysis is performed with commercial F.E.M program (ANSYS) on the basis of the natural frequency and mode shape. The results indicate that experimental values have good agreements with the finite element analysis.

  • This study proposed the analysis of damage defection due to the change of the stiffness of structure by using the original and modified dynamic characteristics. The method is applied to examples of a cantilever and 3 degree of freedom by modifying the stiffness. The predicted damage detections are in good agreement with these from the structural reanalysis using the modified stiffness.
