양방향 10MDSL을 위한 VDSL 시스템의 주파수할당 계획 (An Effective Frequency Allocation Plan for Symmetric 10MDSL Systems)

  • In this paper, we discussed an effective VDSL frequency plan for symmetric 10MDSL service. The frequency plan 998 and plan 997 for asymmetric VDSL services have been not optimally designed for 10MDSL services. To obtain the reaches and data rates of 10MDSL, we proposed two frequency allocation schemes : Static method and dynamic method. We can select frequency bands with their fixed boundaries in static method while with their variable boundaries in dynamic method. To show the effectiveness of our proposed methods, we performed some simulations about plan 997 and plan 998, new static method, and new dynamic method. According to the simulation results, the proposed dynamic method can provide the best data rates and reaches for 10 Mbps symmetric VDSL services.

Hydrodynamics prediction of a ship in static and dynamic states

  • The ship hydrodynamics in static and dynamic states were investigated using 3-dimensional numerical simulations. The static case simulated a fixed ship, while the dynamic case considered a ship with free sinkage and trim using the mesh morphing technique. High speed was found to increase the wave elevation around the ship. Compared with the static case, the dynamic case seemed to generate higher waves near the bow and after the stern. The frictional resistance was found be to more dominant. However, the pressure resistance became gradually important with the increase of the ship speed. The trim and sinkage were also analyzed to characterize the ship hydrodynamics in the dynamic state.

  • In recent years, implants have gained growing importance in all areas of medicine. The success of the treatment depends on many factors affecting the bone-implant, implant-abutment and abutment-prosthesis interfaces. In this paper, static and dynamic behaviors of the dental prosthesis are investigated. Three-dimensional finite element models of dental prosthesis were constructed. Dynamic loads in 5 sec applied on occlusal surface. Therefore, FEA was selected for use in this study to examine the effect of the static and dynamic loads on the stress distribution for an implant-supported fixed partial denture and supporting bone tissue.

마이크로 밀링 머신의 저진동.경량화를 위한 구조 최적설계 (Structural Design Optimization of a Micro Milling Machine for Minimum Weight and Vibrations)

  • This paper presents structural design optimization of a micro milling machine for minimum weight and compliance using a genetic algorithm with dynamic penalty function. The optimization procedure consists of two design stages, which are the static and dynamic design optimization stages. The design problem, in this study, is to find out thickness of structural members which minimize the weight, the static compliance and the dynamic compliance of the micro milling machine under several constraints such as dimensional constraints, maximum compliance limit, and safety factor criterion. Optimization results showed a great reduction in the static and dynamic compliances at the spindle nose of the micro milling machine in spite of a little decrease in the machine weight.

  • This paper presents the characteristics of the dynamic response and calibration technique on a linear variable differential transformer(LVDT). The linear error of the LVDT was proven $\pm$1% in the static calibration and $\pm$0.5% in the dynamic calibration. In this paper, the linearity error generated in the static and dynamic state of the core movement can be eliminated using the correction algorithem of the static and dynamic state derived from the least square linear approximation for the nonlinearity of the curves of direct data fitting and Lagrange polynomials. With the static and dynamic calibration method, the calibration accuracy of the LVDT can be reduced to within $\pm{0.5%.}$.

등가정하중을 이용한 차량 전면구조물 충돌최적설계 (Crash Optimization of an Automobile Frontal Structure Using Equivalent Static Loads)

  • Automobile crash optimization is nonlinear dynamic response structural optimization that uses highly nonlinear crash analysis in the time domain. The equivalent static loads (ESLs) method has been proposed to solve such problems. The ESLs are the static load sets generating the same displacement field as that of nonlinear dynamic analysis. Linear static response structural optimization is employed with the ESLs as multiple loading conditions. Nonlinear dynamic analysis and linear static structural optimization are repeated until the convergence criteria are satisfied. Nonlinear dynamic crash analysis for frontal analysis may not have boundary conditions, but boundary conditions are required in linear static response optimization. This study proposes a method to use the inertia relief method to overcome the mismatch. An optimization problem is formulated for the design of an automobile frontal structure and solved by the proposed method.

원심모형 실험을 이용한 지반-말뚝 상호작용의 정적 및 동적 거동 평가 (Comparison of Lateral Pile Behavior under Static and Dynamic Loading by Centrifuge Tests)

  • 본 연구에서는 하중 조건에 따른 지반-말뚝 상호작용 시스템의 거동 차이를 분석하기 위해 일련의 원심모형 실험을 수행하였다. 정적 하중 조건의 경우, 말뚝 직경의 50% 수준까지 변위제어를 통해 하중을 재하하였으며, 지진 하중 조건의 경우 0.1g~0.4g 수준으로 1Hz 정현파를 가진하였다. 실험 결과로부터 얻은 정적 및 동적 p-y 곡선을 API p-y 곡선과 비교한 결과, API p-y 곡선과 정적 하중조건에서의 실험 p-y 곡선은 최대 지반반력 값이 20% 이내의 오차를 보인 반면, 동적 하중 조건에서의 실험 p-y 곡선과는 최대 지반반력 값이 5배 이상 차이가 발생하였다. 이는 등가정적 해석에서 기존 API p-y 곡선을 적용할 경우 비선형 영역에서 지반 반력을 크게 과소평가하며 보수적 설계를 야기할 수 있음을 의미한다.

절삭저항의 동적성분에 미치는 절삭조건의 영향에 관한 연구(II) (A Study on the Influence of Cutting Conditions on the Dynamic Component of Cutting Resistance(ll))

  • In this study, the static and dynamic components of cutting resistance were measured with tool dynamometer (Swiss, pieso-electric type) when S45C, A1-alloy and brass were drilled under the some variable conditions. The results obtained are as follows; 1) The dynamic components of these cutting resistance are not related to the depth of drilled hole. 2) The static and dynamic components of cutting resistance are increased in accordance with the increase of feed and drill diameter. 3) The dynamic components of thrust force are increased in accordance with the increase of spindle speed. 4) The rate of the dynamic component to the static component is 0.3 .approx. 0.5 in torque, 0.1 .approx. 0.2 in thrust force. 5) The characteristic of the tool system is affected in dynamic component of cutting resistance, and the creasted frequency and amplitude of the chip are determined by the crilled materials. 6) The maximum amplitude of the dynamic component is increased proportionally in accordance with the feed rate and the spindle speed.

압축하중을 받는 방진고무의 동특성 해석 및 실험 (Analysis and Experiment of the Dynamic Characteristics of Rubber Materials for Anti-Vibration under Compression)

  • Rubber materials are extensively used in various machine design application, mainly for vibration/shock/noise control devices. Over the years an enormous effort has been put into developing procedures to provide properties of rubber material for design function. However, there are still a lot of difficulties in the understanding of dynamic characteristics of the rubber components in compression. In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of rubber materials for anti-vibration under compression were investigated. Dynamic and static tests for rubber material with 3 different hardness were performed. In dynamic tests, non-resonance method, impedance method, was used to obtain the complex modulus(storage modulus and loss factor) and the effects of static pre-strain on the dynamic characteristics were investigated. Also, a relation equation between linear dynamic and nonlinear static behavior of rubber material was discussed and its usefulness to predict their combined effects was investigated.

세기조절방사선치료에서 조사방법이 빔 파라미터 및 선량에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (Dosimetric Evaluation of Static and Dynamic Intensity Modulated Radiation Treatment Planning and Delivery)

  • 세기조절방사선치료에는 다엽콜리메타의 구동방식에 따라 static 방법과 dynamic 방법이 있다. 세기조절방사선치료의 정도관리는 치료계획의 정도관리, 치료정보의 전달에 관한 정도관리, 치료전달 과정에 대한 정도관리를 통하여 이루어진다. 여기서는 static 방법과 dynamic 방법에 대하여 같은 조건으로 치료계획 정도관리를 시행하여 dynamic 방법의 환자 적용에 대한 타당성을 살펴보았다. 세기조절방사선치료에서 다엽콜리메타의 움직임이 static 방법인 stop and shoot 방법과 다엽콜리메타의 움직임이 dynamic 방법인 sliding window 방법과 비교검토한 결과 임상표적용적(clinical target volume, CTV)의 크기가 직경 3 cm인 경우에서는 중심점에서의 선량분포 차이가 0.2%였으며, 선량분포의 90% 면적의 차이가 2.7%였으며, CTV의 크기가 직경 7 cm인 경우에서는 중심점에서의 선량분포 차이가 0.2%였으며, 선량분포의 90% 면적의 차이가 2.2%였으며, CTV의 크기가 12 cm인 경우에서는 중심점에서의 선량분포 차이가 0.4%였으며, 선량분포의 90% 면적의 차이가 2.9%였다. 실제 폐암 환자에서도 CTV의 크기에 따라 static 방법과 dynanic 방법에서 중심점에서의 선량 차이는 0.3%에서 0.6%를 나타내고 있다. 가상 펜텀에서는 CTV의 크기에 따라 중심점에서의 측정 선량이나 90% 등선량 곡선 면적이 차이가 없었고, 실제 폐암환자에서는 중심점의 측정선량은 차이가 없었지만 90%등선량곡선의 면적은 CTV 가 커짐에 따라 두 방법간에 차이가 커짐을 알 수 있었다.
