BLDC motors are stored in the devices such as CD-RW, COMBO, DVD-ROM and CD-ROM. It is indispensable to establish reliability assessment criteria for BLDC motors, especially in the world where IT grows rapidly. In this article, reliability certification procedure is given. The reliability certification procedure consists of two separate tests such as quality certification test and lifetime test. The former quality certification test comprises general performance test and environmental test. Items which pass the test undergo lifetime test which guarantees the extent of mean lifetime with certain confidence.

본 논문에서는 광디스크 메모리의 재생성능에 주요한 영향을 미치는 jitter를 향상시키는 방법이 검토되었다. 광디스크 제조공정에 있어서 타공정의 변수를 고정한 상태에서 단일의 조작을 통해 jitter value를 저감화시키기 위해 펄스 폭 조정기를 제작하였다. 펄스 폭 조정기폭 적용하여 입력신호의 level을 조정한 결과 6.9%의 최소 jitter value를 확보하였다.

디지털 콘텐츠는 원본을 훼손하지 않고 복제 및 인터넷을 통한 배포가 가능하기 때문에 콘텐츠에 대한 지적 재산권 보호 할 수 있는 장치는 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 콘텐츠의 지적 재산권을 보호할 수 있는 강인한 워터마킹 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 최신의 비디오 압축방법인 H.264에서 GOP(group of picture)내에서 시각적으로 민감하지 않고, 에러 전파를 할 수 없는 GOP의 프레임에 워터마크 강도를 크게 하고, 그렇지 않은 프레임에는 워터마크 강도를 상대적으로 낮추어 적은 화질열화에 비해 상대적으로 검출율이 높아 질 수 있도록 하였다. 실험 결과 H.264의 압축에서 높은 검출률을 보였고, 프레임별 화질 열화는 존재하지만 비디오를 재생하여 시각적인 테스트를 할 경우 화질 열화가 숨겨짐을 보였다. 제안하는 방법은 콘텐츠의 지적 재산권을 보호하기 위한 응용프로그램을 필요로 하는 DVD 제작자, IPTV 방송국과 같은 곳에 필요로 할 것이다.

This paper presents approaches to the control of the DVD(Digital Video Disk) system using DSP(Digital Signal Processor) in order to improve the precision and robustness. To improve the performance of the Pick-Up servo actuator of the digital video drive, the tracking and focusing servo control algorithms is applied to this system. Simulation results show the performance of the robust control algorithm applied the pick-up servo system comparing to the linear controller.

The effect of thermal deformation of optical pick-up due to laser diode(LD) and LD driving integrated circuit on the optical performance of digital versatile disk(DVD) optical system was analyzed using the finite element analysis with initial surface residual stress conditions, and results were compared with the measured results with holographic interferometry. Ray tracing was performed using the deformed configuration of optical system.

The Home network system means that information appliances, Home PCs, etc., using wired or wireless network method enable to control and share with peripheral devices such as internet, shared data, a scanner and a printer, and it is networking solution, which intelligent communication will be possible as the system which can do a remote control such as TV Set, refrigerators, air conditioners, DVD players, digital camcorders based on external network using an internet, a potable information terminal and a mobile phone whenever, wherever and freely. In this study, the home network interface solution is used one of the wired network standards, PLC (Power-Line Communication) technology, so we can construct of intelligent home network's home controller without re-build a network at home. On keeping with current waves of thought, we will focus on a home controller development with great interest which is enabled to do an effective managed control, applying intelligent home network technology which can be new paradigm like a cyber apartment.

In this paper, we deal with a tracking gain-up controller design problem to control effectively the shake of tracking actuator after a track seek. A minimum tracking gain-up open-loop gain can be calculated by estimating the shake of tracking actuator and a desired transient specification is considered to diminish effectively the shake of actuator. A tracking gain-up controller is designed by considering a robust $H_{\infty}$ control problem with a regional stability constraint. The proposed tracking gain-up controller design method is applied to the track-following system of a DVD recording device and is evaluated through the experimental results.

본 논문에서는 CD, DVD, 책과 같은 정보 저장 매체와 디지털 환경을 조합하여, 사용자로 하여금 쉽게 정보에 접근 가능하도록 하는 시스템을 소개한다. 이 시스템에서는 RFID를 이용하여 각 물리적 정보 저장 매체를 디지털 정보와 연계하고, 연계된 디지털 정보를 직관적이고 편리하게 이용 가능하도록 하는 "스마트 퍽"이라는 인터페이스 도구를 사용하여 사용자가 컴퓨터와 상호작용할 수 있도록 한다. 시스템은 PDP 기반의 테이블 디스플레이 장치, 그 위에 나타나는 정보와 직접적이고 직관적인 인터랙션이 가능한 인터페이스 도구인 스마트 퍽, RFID 인식 장치 등으로 구성되었다. 최종적으로는 이 시스템을 이용하여 실제 음악 CD를 디지털 정보로 나타내고, 쉽게 조작하여 재생하는 예시를 보이기로 한다.

지난 2003년 9월부터 이듬해 3월까지 MBC-TV에서 방영되며 국민드라마로 자리 잡았던 <대장금>이 애니메이션으로 새롭게 태어났다. 지난해 10월 29일 첫 방송을 시작으로 현재 매주 토요일에 방영되고 있는 대장금의 애니메이션 버전 <장금이의 꿈>은 장금이가 궁녀가 되기 전부터 정식 궁녀가 되기까지의 과정을 그린 작품으로 꿈을 이루기 위한 장금이의 동분서주한 수라간 이야기를 다루고 있다. 특히 조연급 캐릭터들의 액션씬을 가미해 영상에 활력을 주고, 의상과 배경 등은 가능한 현대적 조화를 꾀해 볼거리가 풍성하다. 동양의 신비함과 보편적 사상을 최대한 부각시킨 이 작품은 해외 판매와 부대사업에 주력하고 있다. 최근 들어 NHK 자회사인 MICO(Media International Corporation)와 수출계약을 체결하고, 오는 4월 NHK 지상파를 통해 방송키로 합의하는 등 이미 그 결실을 맺고 있다. 캐릭터 완구사업, 출판 및 DVD사업, 캐릭터 상품화 사업, 모바일 게임사업, 케이블 및 위성 DMB사업 등 부가사업도 활발하게 전개하고 있어 진정한 ‘윈소스 멀티유즈’를 실현하고 있다.

Traitor Tracing schemes are broadcast encryption systems where at least one of the traitors who were implicated in the construction of a pirate decoder can be traced. This traceability is required in various contents delivery system like satellite broadcast, DMB, pay-TV, DVD and so on. In this paper, we propose a public key traitor tracing scheme with key-update method. If the system manager can update a secret key which is stored in an authorized decode, it makes a pirate decoder useless by updating a secret key A pirate decoder which cannot update a secret key does not decrypt contents in next session or during tracing a traitor, this scheme has merits which will make a pirate decoder useless, therefore this scheme raises the security to a higher level.
