Purpose - The ultimate purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of personal disposition on shopping value and behavioral intention by expanding the theory of planned behavior (TPB). Research design, data, and methodology - An attempt was made to examine the effects of personal disposition (reflecting duty-free shop characteristics) on three selective actions of consumers - compulsive buying, variety seeking, and price sensitivity. We conducted a questionnaire survey with the users of airport duty-free shops, downtown duty-free shops (offline), and online duty-free shops. In total, 410 copies of the questionnaire were analyzed using a structural equation model. Results - According to the results, compulsive buying, variety seeking, and price sensitivity significantly affected shopping value. Shopping value and subjective norms both had significant effects on attitude, the major variable in the TPB, and attitude had the greatest effect on behavioral intention, followed by subjective norms and perceived behavioral control in descending order. Conclusions - This study has academic implications in that it extends the existing theories of planned behavior and applies it to consumer characteristics and shopping value. It has practical implications as well in that it provides basic data that can be used to establish concrete marketing strategies for duty-free shop owners targeting segmented markets by closely examining customer desires.

Despite rapid growing in domestic duty free industry, weight of income from airport duty free area is relatively decreasing because of rapid progress in downtown duty free area. The purpose of this research was investigating the relationship between airport duty free servicescape and its effects on customer satisfaction and image for duty free shop, in order to maintain own competitive advantages. In pursuing above, previous studies related to servicescape, service value, customer satisfaction, and image were examined for literature review. Based on this previous studies, research model were constructed. Hypothesis was verified by effect. Data from 305 samples was employed for final survey. The main results show that functionality, attraction and convenience were meaningful factors to effect perceived servicescape. On the other hand, cleanness and comfort had few or no influence on servicescape. The perceived servicescape affected on service value and customer satisfaction. Service value had positive effects on customer satisfaction which was discovered to affected on image for duty free shop.
The objective of this study is to empirically examine the effect that social welfare officials' awareness of welfare, who play the core role in delivering public welfare service, has on their sense of duty value and duty efficiency. The implications this study suggests are as follows; First, this study has a meaning in that it empirically proved the social welfare officials' awareness level of welfare. Second, this study provided the specific theoretical basis for the approaches and alternatives for the need to improve social welfare officials' awareness of welfare and operate the desirable welfare policy and system, by examining the effect that social welfare officials' awareness of welfare has on their sense of duty value and duty efficiency. Third, we can find the political implication from this study that welfare policy should be established and operated toward the direction of enhancing equalization effect of welfare system, and minimizing free ride or hampering the will to work, if we intend to improve social welfare officials' awareness of welfare. Fourth, this study presented the need to improve the work system of social welfare officials, through the fact that the shorter their work period is, the lower sense of welfare, duty value and duty efficiency they have. Based on the study results above, we suggest the activation of studies on social welfare officials' awareness of welfare, the need to regularly educate social welfare officials about welfare policy, system and value, the need to improve social welfare officials' positive awareness of welfare and their duty performance through deciding welfare policy toward the direction of enhancing social equality and equalization, and the need to improve social welfare officials' work system.

This paper calls attention to the central problem of the influence of identifying the determinants of airport duty-free store customers perceived innovativeness, pursuit benefits and value-congruency on the behavioral intention. The data is completed with 307 adults with purchasing experience of airport duty-free store O2O integration service which brings sufficient convenience to consumers. The content analysis results show that the influence factors of innovation characteristics, consumer pursuit benefits and value-congruency affect the behavioral intention in various aspects. The result suggests that we should upgrade the innovate functionality and improve the service quality based on consumer needs. Finally, this study discusses implications for theory and practice, indicates limitations, and concludes with some suggestions for future research.

To investigate the fatigue characteristic of upper limbs, this study analyzed RMS(root mean square) and MPF(mean power frequency) value between initial and terminal stages of each experiment condition. And the effect of intermittent endurance time was evaluated using the Borg's CR10 value that was measured for the parts of upper limb. According to the results of ANOVA on RMS value, there were significant difference on the %MVC about push, pull, and down force exertion. Particularly the ANOVA of up force exertion was significant difference on shoulder flexion, elbow flexion and rest time as well as %MVC. The results of ANOVA for MPF value were significant difference on the %MVC in regard of the push and up force exertion. In case of up force exertion, MPF value tended to shift low frequency at all of the experiment conditions. According to the analysis of duty cycle, RMS value considerably increased over 50% duty cycle and as the %MVC increased, the duty cycle affected the increase of RMS value. MPF value for up and down force exertion decreased at 33%, 50% and 67% duty cycle for all of %MVC. Borg CR10 value of hand and forearm were below the 3-point to the 40% of endurance time at 30%MVC and to the 20% of endurance time at 50%MVC with the exception of up force exertion. But Borg CR10 values of upper arm and shoulder at up force exertion were more than 3-point to the 20% of endurance time at 30%MVC and in the start point of endurance time at 50%MVC.
This paper examines that determinants of BAOMAI, (i.e., behavior of Chinese tourist bulk purchase in duty free shop) with analytical framework and empirical tests. The results of applying the structural equation modeling to 196 samples suggest that Chinese tourist consumption orientations (conspicuous/compulsive/unplanned consumption) have a positive effect on BAOMAI decision value chain (perceived value and loyalty). The marketing mix of duty free shop as control variables in research framework also have a positive effect on BAOMAI perceived values (functional/social/emotional value). This paper has a contribution to prior literatures: the first empirical analysis on BAOMAI determinants with exploring scholarly definition.
Circulatory and respiratory activities were observed in men exposed to the environment of engine room of a cruising Republic of Korea Navy ship and compared to the control values obtained in an ordinary laboratory room on land. The environment of an engine room of cruising navy ship was presumed to be a multiple stress acting on men. The environment of the engine room included high temperature $(35-42^{\circ}C)$, low relative humidity (20-38% saturation), vibration (about 7 cycles per second), rolling and pitching of ship and noises. Sixteen men were divided into two groups consisted of each 8 subjects. Subjects of sea duty group had experience of continuous on board duty averaging 3.5 years. Men of land duty group had no experience of on board activity. On land observations were made on one day prior to the boarding and leaving the port and four days after landing. In between observations in the engine room were made on the first, 5 th, 9 th, 12 th, and 14 th day of on board activity. The whole experimental period lasted for 20 days. Measurements on circulatory and respiratory parameters were at standing resting state (after 30 minutes standing in the case of on land study and 15 minutes in engine room study) and within one minute after cessation of on the spot running of which rhythm was 30/min. and lasted for 5 minutes. Oxygen consumption and pulmonary function test were done in the period of two minutes from the 3rd to 5th minutes of running. The following results were obtained. 1. Body temperature showed no change regardless of group difference or on land or on board measurements. 2. Pulse rate increased markedly after boarding the ship id both groups. Pulse rate increased from the first day on board at rest and after exercise as compared to the on land control value. This increase in pulse rate was more marked after exercise. Sea duty group showed less increase in pulse rate at rest than the land duty group. Standing and resting pulse rate of sea duty group on lam was 81 and increased to 87 at the 5th day on board and remained smaller than the land duty group throughout the period on board. Control standing and resting pulse rate of land duty group on land was 76 and reached 89 at the 9th day on board and thereafter decreased a little. Pulse rate of land duty group at rest on board remained greater than that of sea duty group throughout the period on board. 3. Systolic blood pressure of sea duty group increased after boarding the ship and remained higher than the control value on land. In the land duty group, however, systolic blood pressure decreased during the period on board the ship. Diastolic blood pressure decreased in both groups. 4. Resting breathing rate of land duty group increased and remained higher than the control value on land. In sea duty group, however, resting breathing rate showed a transient increase on the 1st day on board and decreased thereafter to the control value on land and kept the same level throughout the period of cruise. Absolute value of breathing rate in the sea duty group was greater than the land duty group both at rest and after exercise. 5. There was a lowering of breathing efficiency in both groups. Thus, increases in tidal volume and minute ventilation volume and decreases in maximum breathing capacity, vital capacity, capacity ratio and air velocity Index were observed after boarding the ship. An increase in ventilation equivalent was also observed in both groups. The lowering of breathing efficiency was more marked in the land duty group than the sea duty group. 6. Energy expediture increased in both groups during their stay on the ship and was more marked in the sea duty group. 7, Lactate concentration in venous blood at rest and after exercise increased after boarding the ship and no group difference was observed.

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is considered as an integral part of the Internet of Things (IoT) for collecting real-time data from the site having many applications in industry 4.0 and smart cities. The task of nodes is to sense the environment and send the relevant information over the internet. Though this task seems very straightforward but it is vulnerable to certain issues like energy consumption, delay, throughput, etc. To efficiently address these issues, this work develops a cross-layer model for the optimization between MAC and the Network layer of the OSI model for WSN. A high value of duty cycle for nodes is selected to control the delay and further enhances data transmission reliability. A node measurement prediction system based on the Kalman filter has been introduced, which uses the constraint based on covariance value to decide the scheduling scheme of the nodes. The concept of duty cycle for node scheduling is employed with a greedy data forwarding scheme. The proposed Duty Cycle-based Greedy Routing (DCGR) scheme aims to minimize the hop count, thereby mitigating the energy consumption rate. The proposed algorithm is tested using a real-world wastewater treatment dataset. The proposed method marks an 87.5% increase in the energy efficiency and reduction in the network latency by 61% when validated with other similar pre-existing schemes.
This paper studied the effects of anti-dumping measures on the imports to investigate whether the trade restriction effect of an anti-dumping duty is dominant. Our results indicate that a 1% increase in the anti-dumping duties decreases the import of the targeted product by about 0.43~0.51%. The actual statistics, however, show that the total import of the targeted products increased by about 30 percent while an anti-dumping duty was in force. That indicates that an anti-dumping duty is just a temporary import relief. This paper also investigated whether an anti-dumping duty is terminated in the case that the injury would not be likely to continue or recur if the duty were removed. The hazards model estimates show that increase in market share, MFN tariff rate, and dumping margin decrease the hazard of termination of an anti-dumping duty, but the increase in value added increases the hazard of termination. Generally speaking, this result indicates that the WTO member countries have regulated the overuse of an anti-dumping measure. The findings of this paper show that there is a country- and industry-wise heterogeneous characteristic in the effect as well as termination of an anti-dumping duty.
Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to analyze the reformed duty of fair presentation provisions and related caselaw of the Insurance Act 2015 to gain a clearer understanding of the differences between the Act and the preceding legislation. Design/methodology - The authors analyzed caselaw from South Korea and China that involved breaches of the duty of disclosure. Cases highlighting differences between the duties of disclosure and fair presentation were selected. Findings - Changes in the practice of marine insurance laws are expected from the application of the reformed duty of presentation provisions. In particular, the rights of the insured are expected to increase, resulting in the fairer conduct of insurance contracts. Due to the fact that the Insurance Act 2015 has only recently taken effect, the provisions of existing caselaw have not yet been applied. This has limited the authors' scope of analysis. Originality/value - This paper describes the implications of the duty of fair presentation by analyzing caselaw from South Korea and China that involves the duty of disclosure. To the best of the authors' knowledge, this is the first paper that investigates the reformed duty of fair presentation provisions of the Insurance Act 2015 in the context of the legislation's implications for trade practices.
