농지배수 수문설계 기준과 임계지속기간을 고려한 농업 소유역 침수분석 (Inundation Analysis of Agricultural Basin Considering Agricultural Drainage Hydrological Plan and Critical Rainfall Duration)

  • KDS (Korean Design Standard) for agricultural drainage is a planning standard that helps determine the appropriate capacity and type of drainage facilities. The objective of this study was to analyze the inundation of the agricultural basin considering the current design standard and the critical rainfall duration. This study used the rainfall durations of 1-48 hour, and the time distribution method with the Chicago and the modified Huff model. For the runoff model, the NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service) unit hydrograph method was applied, and the inundation depth and duration were analyzed using area-elevation data. From the inundation analysis using the modified Huff method with different rainfall durations, 4 hours showed the largest peak discharge, and 11 hours showed the largest inundation depth. From the comparison analysis with the current method (Chicago method with a duration of 48 hours) and the modified Huff method applying critical rainfall duration, the current method showed less peak discharge and lower inundation depth compared to the modified Huff method. From the simulation of changing values of drainage rate, the duration of 11 hours showed larger inundation depth and duration compared to the duration of 4 hours. Accordingly, the modified Huff method with the critical rainfall duration would likely be a safer design than the current method. Also, a process of choosing a design hydrograph considering the inundation depth and duration is needed to apply the critical rainfall duration. This study is expected to be helpful for the theoretical basis of the agricultural drainage design standards.

열유도 토목섬유 배수공법이 적용된 보강토 옹벽의 강우시 거동 특성 (Behavior of Geosynthetic Reinforced Wall with Heat Induce Drainage Method During Rainfall)

  • 본 논문에서는 실제 보강토 옹벽에서 열유도 배수장치에 의한 영향을 분석하기 위하여 옹벽 형태의 축소모형실험을 진행하였다. 열선의 온도상승으로 인해 화강풍화토 내부의 온도가 상승하며 화강풍화토 내부에 있는 수분을 배수층으로 이동시켜 배수를 원활이 하여 옹벽의 붕괴방지를 위한 목적을 가지고 있다. 특히 강우 시 배수활동이 중요하기 때문에 강우조건을 모사하기위해 워터스프레이건을 이용하여 지반에 강우작용을 모사하였으며 강우에 의한 옹벽 벽체의 변위, 지반내부의 체적함수율 변화, 강우배수량, 벽체의 토압의 변화 그리고 보강재의 변형률의 변화를 분석하여 지반 내 열유도 배수장치의 영향으로 인한 차이를 확인하였다. 그 결과 열유도 배수장치를 적용한 경우 배수량이 증가하며 그로인해 토압이 감소하며 벽체의 변위가 감소하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • With the wide spread of direct current (DC) electric railroads in Korea, the stray currents or leakage currents from negative return rails become a pending problem to the safety of nearby underground infrastructures. The most widely used mitigation method for this interference is the stray current drainage method, which connects the underground metallic structures to the rails with diodes (polarized drainage) or thyristor (forced drainage). Although this method inherently possesses some drawbacks, its cost effectiveness and efficiency to protect the interfered structures has been the main reason for the wide adoption. In this paper, we show the field test results for the application of stray current drainage system to a city gas pipeline paralleling a depot area of a metropolitan rapid transit system. The process for optimal positioning is briefly illustrated. The effectiveness of constant voltage, constant current, and constant potential drainage schemes was also described.

복합영농 관개지구의 배수량 모의 모형의 개발 (Surface Drainage Simulation Model for Irrigation Districts Composed of Paddy and Protected Cultivation)

  • The objectives of this study were to develop a hydrologic simulation model to estimate surface drainage for irrigation districts consisting of paddy and protected cultivation, and to evaluate the applicability of the developed model. The model consists of three sub-models; agricultural supply, paddy block drainage, and protected cultivation runoff. The model simulates daily total drainage as the sum of paddy field drainage, irrigation canal drainage, and protected cultivation runoff at the outlets of the irrigation districts. The agricultural supply sub-model was formulated considering crop water requirement for growing seasons and agricultural water management loss. Agricultural supply was calculated for use as input data for the paddy block sub-model. The paddy block drainage sub-model simulates paddy field drainage based on water balance, and irrigation canal drainage as a fraction of agricultural supply. Protected cultivation runoff is calculated based on NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service) curve number method. The Idong reservoir irrigation district was selected for surface drainage monitoring and model verification. The parameters of model were calibrated using a trial and error technique, and validated with the measured data from the study site. The model can be a useful tool to estimate surface drainage for irrigated districts consisting of paddy and protected cultivation.

도시하수도망에 대한 유출모형의 남용과 유출해석 (Runoff Analysis and Application of Runoff Model of Urban Storm Drainage Network)

  • This research is to show the application of runoff model and runoff analysis of urban storm drainage network. the runoff models that were used for this research were RRL, ILLUDAS, and SWMM applicative object basin were Geucknak-chun and Sangmu drainage basin located in Seo-Gu, Kwangju. The runoff analysis employed the design storm that distributed the rainfall intensity according to the return period after the huff's method. The result from the comparative analysis of the three runoff models was as follows The difference of peak runoff by return period was 20-30% at Sangmu drainage area of $3.17 Km^2$, while less than 10% at Geucknak-chun drainage area of $12.7 Km^2$. The peak runoff were similar to all models. At the runoff hydrograph the times between rising and descending points were in the sequence of RRL, ILLUDAS and SWMM, but the peak times were similar to all models. The conveyance coefficient to examine the conveyance of the existing drainage network was 0.94-1.37, which means insecure, in Geucknak-chun drainage basin and 0.69-1.16, which means secure, in sangmu drainage basin.

  • Among a number of methodologies for developing groundwater supply to overcome drought events reported in the research community, an accurate estimation of the groundwater level is an important initial issue to provide an efficient method for operating groundwater. The primary objective of this paper is to develop an advanced prediction model for the groundwater level in the catchment area of the Ssangcheon groundwater dam using precipitation based period dividing algorithm and response surface methodology (RSM). A numerical example clearly shows that the proposed method can effectively forecast groundwater level in terms of correlation coefficient ($R^2$) in the upstream part of the Ssangcheon groundwater dam.

  • Mediastinitis is a life-threatening disease, and effective drainage is needed to treat mediastinitis with abscess formation. We recommend an alternative drainage method using chest tube binding with a Silastic Penrose drainage tube. The use of a Silastic Penrose drainage tube may help to manage mediastinitis with abscess formation. This method facilitates effective draining and prevents tissue adhesion.

흉수 및 농흉에서의 영상유도하 도관배액술의 유용성 평가 (The evaluation of image-guided catheter drainage in pleural effusion and empyema)

  • 연구배경 : 흉수질환은 특히 복잡흉수나 농흉의 경우 치료상의 난제로 등장한다. 이들 경우의 치료의 근간은 빠른 완전한 배액과 무기폐의 재확장에 있다. 과거에는 통상 상기질환에서 흉수천자와 외과적 흉강삽관을 통해 진단 및 치료에 임하였으나 맹검적 흉강삽관시 때로는 잘못된 부위에 위치하거나 기술적으로 삽입하기 어려운 조건등으로 실패하는 경우를 경험하였다. 최근에는 영하에 도관을 정확히 삽관하고 배액하여 높은 치료성적을 보고하고 있다. 방법 : 1994년 1월부터 1996년 2월까지 흉수질환으로 관삽입을 요했던 환자 28명을 대상으로 후향적인 조사를 하였다. 맹검적 흉강삽관을 요했던 환자와 영상유도하 도관삽관을 시행받았던 환자로 구분하여 배액성공율을 비교하였다. 결과 : 전통적 방법의 흉강삽관 환자는 14명으로 원인별로 농흉 6명, 결핵성흉막염 6명, 부폐렴흉막염 2명인데 반해, 영상유도하도관삽입 역시 14명이었으나 원인별로는 농흉 2명, 결핵성흉막염 6명, 부폐렴흉막염 5명, 원인미상이 1명 있었다. 인상적 및 방사선학적으로 성공적인 배액을 보인 경우가 전자의 방법에서는 79%인데 반해 후자는 93%로서 영상유도하 도관배액에서 높은 치료성적을 보여주었으며 합병증은 한예에서 미미하게 발생하였다. 결론 : 영상유도하의 도관배액술은 복잡흉수나 국소화된 농흉환자에서 안전하며 성공율을 가진 치료법으로 적용할 수 있을 판단되니 향후 좀 더 많은 환자를 대상으로 한 비교연구가 뒷따라야 하겠다.

실시간 자료지향형 예측을 활용한 내배수 시설 운영기법 연구 (A Study on Real-Time Operation Method of Urban Drainage System using Data-Driven Estimation)

  • 본 연구는 도시홍수 피해저감을 위한 비구조적 대책의 일환으로 배수펌프장의 효율적인 운영방안을 제시하고자 한다. 배수펌프장 내의 수위를 뉴로-퍼지모형을 통하여 예측하고 예측되는 내수위에 따라 유전자 알고리즘 기법을 적용하여 배수펌프장의 운영룰을 결정하고자 한다. 뉴로-퍼지모형 구축시 배수구역의 지형적 특성을 반영하기 위하여 공간적 매개변수를 고려한 GeoANFIS모형을 개발하였고 배수펌프장 내 최고수위를 저하시키면서 반복적인 정지와 운영이 발생하지 않도록 벌칙유형의 유전자 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 마포 배수구역 내 5개의 배수펌프장(마포, 합정, 상수, 봉인, 당인)에 대하여 개발 모형의 적용성을 검증하였다. 이러한 운영룰의 개발로 효과적으로 내배수 시설을 운영할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
