생산방식과 환경요인들을 고려한 최적성장함수의 선택에 관한 연구 (The Choice of an Optimal Growth Function Considering Environmental Factors and Production Style)

  • 본 연구는 생물경제학(bioeconomics)분석에 있어서 중요한 위치를 차지하는 생물학적 성장모델에 대한 계량적 접근을 시도하였다. 세계적으로 어류에 관한 생물학적 성장모델은 여러 연구자들에 의해 추정된 바 있으나, 갑각류나 패류와 관련된 적정 성장함수의 추정은 어류에 비해 크게 연구되어 있지 않은 실정이다. 이에 몇몇 연구자들에 의해 사용된 공통된 성장함수들(Linear, Log reciprocal, Double log, Polynomial, Linear with Interactions)을 생산방식과 지역별 환경요인을 감안하여 한국 참가리비(Patinopecten yessoensis)의 성장을 추정하는 데 응용해 보았으며, 가장 적절한 모델은 계량적 분석을 통하여 도출하였다. 분석결과 Log reciprocal 형태의 성장함수가 참가리비류에 가장 적합한 모델로 선정되었으며, 본 결과는 경영자의 최적 생산시기를 결정하는 데 이용되는 생물경제학 모델에 유용하게 응용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

노인부부가계와 노인독신가계의 소비패턴 비교 (Consumption Patterns of the Elderly Couple and Elderly Single)

  • Determinants of consumption patterns of elderly couple and elderly single were investigated using the 1996 National Survey of Family Income and Expenditure by National Statistical Office. There were large differences in consumption patterns between the elderly couple and single in terms of monthly expenditures and average budget shares of individual consumption items. Consumption functions of individual items were estimated using double-log function. Major determinants of consumption functions were income, overspending behavior, educational level of householder, and net worth for both groups, householder's job status and city residence mainly for elderly couple, and age of householder mainly for elderly single. In addition, income elasticity of elderly households was larger than net worth elasticity for all consumption items.

Different Types of Active Region EUV Bright Points by Hinode/EIS

  • We have investigated seven Extreme-Ultraviolet (EUV) bright points in the active region (AR 10926) on 2006 December 2 by the EUV imaging spectrometer (EIS) onboard Hinode spacecraft. We determined their Doppler velocities and non-thermal velocities from 15 EUV spectral lines (log T=4.7-7.2) by fitting each line profile to a Gaussian function. We present the Doppler velocity map as a function of temperature which corresponds to a different height. As a result, these active region bright points show two different types of characteristics. Type 1 bright point shows a systematic increase of Doppler velocity from -68 km/s (blue shift) at log T=4.7 to 27 km/s (red shift) at log T=6.7, while type 2 bright points have Doppler velocities in the range of -20 km/s and 20 km/s. Using MDI magnetograms, we found that only type 1 bright point was associated with the canceling magnetic feature at the rate of $2.4{\times}10^{18}$ Mx/hour. When assuming that these bright points are caused by magnetic reconnection and the Doppler shift indicates reconnection out flow, the pattern of the Doppler shift implies that type 1 bright point should be related to low atmosphere magnetic reconnection. We also determined electron densities from line ratio as well as temperatures from emission measure loci using CHIANTI atomic database. The electron densities of all bright points are comparable to typical values of active regions (log Ne=9.9-10.4). For the temperature analysis, the emission loci plots indicate that these bright points should not be isothermal though background is isothermal. The DEM analysis also show that while the background has a single peak distribution (isothermal), the EUV bright points, double peak distributions.

어촌계의 소득 격차와 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Income Inequality among the Fishing Communities in Korea)

  • The Fishing Communities (so-called Uchongae) in Korea was legally established in 1962. It has been gradually expanded by quantity, and we have total 1,969 communities in 2006. The major establishment purpose of Uchongae was put 2 functions. The first function is to make up the double industry structure in coastal region, and second function is to make economical condition for Uchongae. Nevertheless the Fishing Communities System in Korea was not successfully developed after first beginning. The Income gap have become heavily between fishing area and non - fishing area, including agricultural area. The income gap has been due to rapid industrialization and urbanization in Korea. And the income gap even have become heavily among Uchongaes. In this paper, It have been researched the degree of Income inequality among Uchongaes in Korea during 1986-2006. The income inequality degree was analyzed by Gini coefficient and Mean Log Deviation (MLD) using Lorenz Curve. According to analysis result, the Gini coefficient of Uchongaes in Korea has been about 2-times high from 0.0847 to 0.1770 during 20 years. And the MLD has been 5.4 times from 0.0125 to 0.0679 during same periods. This means to more wide the general Income Inequality among the Uchongaes in Korea. Especially, It means to more wide the gap of high ranking Uchongaes and low ranking Uchongaes that MLD index multiplier has been more high.

단일방정식과 관련방정식체계를 적용한 소비지출 함수의 모델 적합성 비교 (A Comparison of the Goodness-of-Fit between Two Models of Expenditure Function: a Single-Equation Model versus a Complete- System-of-Demand-Equation Model)

  • The main purposes of this article are to introduce the theoretical backgrounds and empirical application methods of two different Models for the function of expenditure, and to compare the goodness-o(-fit of the two models: a single-equation model and a complete-system-of-demand-equation model. For the empirical analysis of the single-equation model, a linear formula and a double-leg formula were employed. In order to test the complete-system-of-demand-equation model empirically, the \"Linear Approximation/Almost Ideal Demand System (LA/AIDS)" was used. The independent variables were the total living expense and expenditure categories Price index. The data used in this study were obtained from the quarterly statistics of "The Annual Report on the Urban Family Income and Expenditure Survey (Dosigagyeyonbo)" and "The Annual Report on the Consumer Price Index (Sobijamulgajaryo)," for the years 1994 to 1997. The goodness-of-fit (R-square) was higher with the complete-system-of-demand-equation model than with the single-equation model for the budget share on food (excluding eating-out expenses) and for the share on cultural and recreational activities. However, there was no difference between the two models in terms of the proportion of the expenditure on automobile fuel.fuel.

DEFECT INSPECTION IN SEMICONDUCTOR IMAGES USING HISTOGRAM FITTING AND NEURAL NETWORKS

  • This paper presents an automatic inspection of defects in semiconductor images. We devise a statistical method to find defects on homogeneous background from the observation that it has a log-normal distribution. If computer aided design (CAD) data is available, we use it to construct a signed distance function (SDF) and change the pixel values so that the average of pixel values along the level curve of the SDF is zero, so that the image has a homogeneous background. In the absence of CAD data, we devise a hybrid method consisting of a model-based algorithm and two neural networks. The model-based algorithm uses the first right singular vector to determine whether the image has a linear or complex structure. For an image with a linear structure, we remove the structure using the rank 1 approximation so that it has a homogeneous background. An image with a complex structure is inspected by two neural networks. We provide results of numerical experiments for the proposed methods.

유화.안정제의 종류에 따른 지방구의 입도 분포가 Mayonnaise의 유화안정성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Size Distribution of Oil Particles with Emulsifiers and Stabilizers on the Emulsion Stability of Mayonnaise)

  • The effects of size distribution of oil particles on the emulsion stability of mayonnaise were studied as follows; The stability of mayonnaise has concerned closely with the viscosity and the size distribution of oil particles. Mostly, if the viscosity was increased, the stability was improved, and the distribution of oil particles was uniform and the less the variation, the more the stability. 75% of oil concentration of sample showed the highest viscosity, also the size of sample was the most uniform, compared to other concentration. Mayonnaise prepared with whole egg was unstable, and the size of oil particles was double larger than the case prepared with only the yolk. Addition of xanthan gum increased, the viscosity and the stability by centrifuge so that the more stable mayonnaise could be prepared. The result of using log-normal density function by Heldmann represented that the normal size of sample adding 0.6%-soluble starch and sample N in non-adding control was increased, while those of sample adding xanthan gum and soluble starch at the same time didn't change.

  • VMS를 통한 실시간 교통정보 제공에 따른 편익에는 경로 우회에 따른 통행시간 절감과 이에 따른 운행비용 및 환경오염 절감 등의 파급효과 뿐 아니라, 전방교통상황 인지에 따른 심리적 안정 등의 정성적 편익도 함께 존재하며, 도로환경을 첨단화하는 ITS사업의 특성상 정성적 편익의 비중은 상대적으로 높다. 이러한 ITS사업의 특성을 기존의 투자평가지침에 반영하기 위해서는 도로이용자가 인식하는 VMS 교통정보의 기본가치와 같은 정성적 편익에 대한 많은 연구와 이를 인정하는 사회적 공감대가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 이중양분 선택형 설문형태의 조건부가치추정법(Contingent valuation Method)을 통해 VMS 교통정보에 대한 도로 이용자의 지불의사액(Willingness-to-pay)을 파악하고, 생존함수를 활용하여 WTP 함수를 추정하는 방법론을 정립하고, 국도에 설치된 도로전광표지판(VMS)을 통해 제공되는 실시간 교통정보에 내재된 기본가치를 추정하여 제시하였다. 또한 교통정보의 기본가치를 ITS사업의 편익으로 고려해야 하는 정책적 필요성과 활용방안에 대해 검토하였다.

다공성 탄소전극의 전위에 따른 복소캐패시턴스 분석 (Potential-dependent Complex Capacitance Analysis for Porous Carbon Electrodes)

  • 다공성 탄소전극의 전위에 짜른 EDLC(e)ectric double-layer capacitor)특성을 조사하기 위해 복소캐패시턴스분석(complex capacitance analysis)을 수행하였다. 하나의 원통형 기공에 대해 복소캐패시턴스를 이론적으로 유도하였고, 기공의 분포를 고려하여 다공성 전극에 대하여서도 계산하였다. 복소캐패시턴스의 허수부를 주파수에 대해 도시하면 피크 형태의 곡선이 얻어지는데, 이때 피크의 면적은 캐패시턴스 값의 크기와, 피크의 위치는 다공성전극의 전기화학 파라매터와 기공구조에 의해 결정되는 $\alpha_0$와 상관관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이를 이용하면, 동일한 기공구조를 갖는 전극에 대해, 전위에 따른 캐패시턴스와 기공 내 이온전도도의 변화를 측정할 수 있다. 메조포러스 탄소전극에 대하여 전위를 변화시키며 electrochemical impedance spectroscopy를 측정하고 이를 복소캐패시턴스법에 의해 분석하였다. 피크 면적으로부터 구한 전위에 따른 캐패시턴스는 0.3V부근에서 최대값을 가졌는데, 이는 cyclic voltammetry 실험결과와도 일치하였다. 한편, 피크 위치로부터 구한 기공 내 이온전도도는 0.2V에서 최대 값을 가지고 전위가 증가할 수록 서서히 감소하였다. 이를 탄소 표면전하의 증가로 인해 이온/표면의 전기적 작용력이 커졌기 때문으로 해석하였다.

2차원 광학 우적계 자료를 이용한 대구지역 우적크기분포 특성 분석 (Characteristic of Raindrop Size Distribution Using Two-dimensional Video Disdrometer Data in Daegu, Korea)

  • 본 연구는 우적크기분포의 통계적 특성과 변동성을 알아보기 위하여, 2011-2012년 대구지역 2차원광학우적계자료를 분석하여 Marshall and Palmer(1948)의 우적크기분포 특성과 비교하였다. 우적크기분포의 특성변수로 강우강도(R), 레이더 반사도(Z), 보편특성수농도($N{_0}^{\prime}$), 보편특성직경($D{_m}^{\prime}$)을 계산하였다. 또한 스케일링 법칙을 사용하여 우적크기분포의 정규화 여부를 확인하였다. 분석 결과, 대구지역의 우적크기분포는 평균적으로 ${\log}_{10}N{_0}^{\prime}=2.37$, $D{_m}^{\prime}=1.04mm$이며 형태 인자의 경우 c =2.37, ${\mu}=0.39$를 가졌다. 대구지역의 우적크기분포를 Marshall and Palmer의 우적크기분포로 가정하여 계산한 결과, 평균적으로 ${\log}_{10}N{_0}^{\prime}=2.27$, $D{_m}^{\prime}=0.9mm$, c =1, ${\mu}=1$를 가졌다. 이 차이로부터 대구지역 우적크기분포는 Marshall and Palmer(1948)의 우적크기분포보다 통계적으로 더 높은 액체수함량을 가짐을 알 수 있다. 우적크기분포의 형태를 비교한 결과, 대구지역 우적크기분포는 위로 볼록한 모양이었다. Z > 45 dBZ를 기준으로 우적크기분포 형태에 변화가 있었다. 35 dBZ ${\leq}$ Z > 45 dBZ에서 대구지역 우적크기분포 특성은 해양성 기후대와 유사하였으나 Z > 45 dBZ에서는 Marshall and Palmer의 우적크기분포 특성과 유사하였다.
