플라즈마 화학 증착법에 의한 $Al_2$ $O_3$ 단층피막과 $Al_2$ $O_3$/( $Ti_{0.5}$ $Al_{0.5}$)N 이중피막의 제조 및 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Properties of $Al_2$ $O_3$ and $Al_2$ $O_3$/( $Ti_{0.5}$ $Al_{0.5}$)N Coatings Produced by Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition)

  • $Al_2$$O_3$ coatings were deposited on M2 high speed steels by the plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) process, using a gas mixture of AlC1$_3$, $H_2$, $CO_2$ and Ar $Al_2$$O_3$ coatings had interference color and showed amorphous phase. $A1_2$X$A1_3$/($Ti_{0.5}$ /$Al_{0.5}$ )N double layer coatings were produced in the sequence of substrate $NH_3$ plasma pretreatment, ($Ti_{0.5}$$Al_{0.5}$)N depoition process, $Al_2$$O_3$ deposition process. $Al_2$ $O_3$/( $Ti_{0.5}$A $l_{0.5}$)N double layer coatings showed NaCl structure in ( $Ti_{0.5}$A $l_{0.5}$)N layer and amorphous phase in A1$_2$ $O_3$ layer. It was shown that $Al_2$ $O_3$ columns continuously grew onto ( $Ti_{0.5}$A $l_{0.5}$)N columns. ( $Ti_{0.5}$A $l_{0.5}$)N single coating and $Al_2$ $O_3$/( $Ti_{0.5}$A $l_{0.5}$)N double layer coating were oxidized at $700^{\circ}C$, 80$0^{\circ}C$, 90$0^{\circ}C$ for 1hr, 3hr in atmosphere. At 80$0^{\circ}C$, single layer coatings were oxidized, which were examined substrate oxide particle. But $Al_2$ $O_3$/ ( $Ti_{0.5}$A $l_{0.5}$)N double layer coatings maintained the asdeposited state. Therefore, $Al_2$ $O_3$/ ( $Ti_{0.5}$A $l_{0.5}$)N double layer coatings have moreexcellent oxidation resistance than ( $Ti_{0.5}$A $l_{0.5}$)N single layer coatings.X> 0.5/)N single layer coatings.s.

나노실리카를 함유한 불소실란으로 코팅된 유리 표면의 발수 특성 (Water repellency of glass surface coated with fluorosilane coating solutions containing nanosilica)

  • 친수성 및 소수성 나노실리카를 tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS)를 커플링제로 사용하여 유리 표면에 거친 스파이크 구조 형성과 반응성 hydroxyl기를 동시에 도입한 후 불소를 함유한 실란으로 2차 코팅처리하여 궁극적으로 발수성 유리 표면 형성의 최적 조건을 확립하는 연구를 수행하였다. 소수성 나노실리카인 실리카 에어로졸을 이용한 초소수 도막의 형성은 나노실리카 표면에 반응성인 -OH기가 존재하지 않아 내구성이 있는 소수성 도막을 형성할 수 없었다. 이에 반하여 친수성기를 가진 나노실리카와 가수분해된 TEOS를 포함하는 코팅액 이용하여 유리 표면을 1차 코팅한 후 2차로 trichloro-(1H,1H,2H,2H)perfluorooctylsilane(TPFOS) 용액으로 코팅하여 $150^{\circ}$ 이상의 수접촉각을 가지는 초소수 표면을 제조하였으며, $1^{\circ}$ 이하의 물 슬라이딩각을 보여 초발수성도 동시에 가지고 있었다. 이에 덧붙여 친수성 나노실리카의 함량이 증가할수록 광투과도가 감소하였으며, TPFOS 용액에 의해서도 광투과도가 감소하였다. 코팅된 유리시편의 내구성 50회 문지름까지는 초소수성을 유지하였으나, 200회 문지름에서는 단지 소수성만을 유지하였다. 결론적으로 최적의 코팅액의 조건은 친수성 나노실리카의 함량이 0.3 g인 HP3 코팅액을 2회 코팅한 후 2차로 TPFOS 용액으로 코팅하는 것이었다. 이렇게 제조된 코팅액은 광투과도가 중요한 솔라셀의 표면 처리제로 사용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

Nitric Acid를 이용한 SiNx/SiO2 Double Layer Passivation

  • 실리콘 질화막(SiNx : H)는 결정질 실리콘 태양전지 제작 공정에서 ARC (Anti Reflection Coating)과 표면 패시베이션의 역할로써 많이 사용되었지만, layer 자체의 quality가 좋지 않기 때문에 최근에는 SiNx/SiO2 이중 layer로 passivation layer를 형성하고 있다. SiO2 layer는 Si substrate를 소스로 하여 성장시키기 때문에 막의 질이 우수하기는 하지만, 막 성장을 위해서 Furnace를 이용해야 하기 때문에, 공정 시간과 공정 비용을 증가시키는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 SiO2 layer를 Furnace가 아닌, 질산(HNO3)을 이용하여SiNx/Thin SiO2 passivation layer 제작하였다. 실험에서는 SiO2 성장을 위해서 질산 용액에 p-type wafer를 dipping하여 시간대 별, SiO2 막의 두께를 관찰하였고, passivation의 효과를 확인하기 위해 lifetime을 측정하였다. 그 결과 SiNx/SiO2 이중 passivation layer는 SiNx 단일 막으로 passivation을 하였을 때보다, lifetime이 10 us 상승했고, 셀 제작시 효율은 약 1.1%, Fill Factor는 약 4% 정도 증가한 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 고집적 회로제작에 필수적인 평탄화 기술을 SOG를 이용하여 개발하였다. 1.5 micron double metal 기술의 공정변수들을 통계적 실험계획법을 적용하여 주요변수들을 찾 아내고 그들을 최적화하였다. 최적공적 조건은 SOG 도포 횟수는 2회, hot plate bake는 $300^{\circ}C$에서 충분히, 그리고 furnace curing은 $400^{\circ}C$ 이하에서 40분간 진행하는 것이었다.

고온용 서밋 태양선택흡수막의 증착 (Deposition of Cermet Solar Selective Coatings for High Temperature Applications)

  • Cr-CrO cermet solar selective coatings with a double cermets layer film structure were prepared using a special direct current (dc) magnetron sputtering technology. The typical films structures from surface to bottom substrate were measured to be an $Al_2O_3$ anti-reflection layer on a double Cr-CrO cermet layer on an Al metal infrared reflection layer. Optical properties of optimized Cr-CrO cermet solar selective coating were absorptance (${\alpha}$) = 0.95 and emittance (${\varepsilon}$) = 0.10 ($100^{\circ}C$). Atomic force microscopy (AFM) image showed that Cr-CrO cermet film was very smooth and their grain size was also very small The results of thermal stability test showed that the Cr-CrO cermet solar selective coatings were stable for use at temperature of $400^{\circ}C$.

압입시험법에 의한 YSZ 층상 열차폐 코팅재의 기계적 거동 (Mechanical Behavior of Layered YSZ Thermal Barrier Coatings using Indentation Test)

  • In this study, we investigated the mechanical behaviors of layered thermal barrier coatings by indentations. Various single and double-layered thermal barrier coatings were deposited by air plasma spray process using different type of commercialized YSZ (Yttria stabilized zirconia) starting powders. Indentation stress-strain curve, load-displacement curve and hardness of the single and the double-layered thermal barrier coatings were obtained experimentally and analyzed. The indentation damages at the same loads were compared, and thus, the results depend on the structure of each coating. The result indicates improvement in damage resistances from tailoring of layered structures in the component of gas turbine system is expected.

  • Ship painting procedures can be divided into two categories; Out-shell plate painting of the hull and the interior painting of each double gull blocks. It is really hard to apply standardized and automated operations to the latter because the double hull blocks contains a variety of complicated supportive materials and pipes to strengthen the ship structure. In addition their poor working conditions cause painting workers to avoid working in them, resulting in the waste of paints and additional pollution issues. So this research, successfully focused on overcoming the difficulties in working in the complicated blocks and the tough working conditions introduces the main details of automatic equipment systems and their transfer algorism which show how the equipment paints the inner sides of a longitudinal stiffener and moves to another automatically.

이중층 라이너의 폭발 재료 온도 분포 수치해석 (Numerical Analysis of Temperature Distribution of the Explosive Material in the Double-Layer Liners)

  • The development of new concepts of liner is of great importance to effectively neutralize the enemy's attack power concealed in the protective structure or armored vehicles. A double layer liner has a combination of two different materials, one for penetration of target and the other for explosion after penetration. Therefore, it is of great importance to understand the temperature distribution before impact which should be lower than the explosive temperature of pure explosive material of the liner used. In this study, two different liner materials were obtained using cold spray coating and these material properties were characterized by DSC experiments. Numerical computations were done and the effect of temperature distribution and changes over time at each point of the explosive material depending on the layer types of the liner were discussed and analysed in the jet state.

Sensing Characteristics of Uncoated Double Cladding Long-period Fiber Grating Based on Mode Transition and Dual-peak Resonance

  • In this paper, the sensing characteristics of a double cladding fiber (DCF) long-period fiber grating (LPFG) to the surrounding refractive index (SRI) are studied. The outer cladding of the DCF plays the role of the overlay, thus, the mode transition (MT) phenomenon of DCF can be induced by etching the outer cladding radius instead of coating overlays. The response characteristics of the effective refractive index (ERI) of the cladding mode to the outer cladding radius are analyzed. It is found that in the MT range, the change rate of ERIs of cladding modes is relatively larger than that for other ranges. Further, based on the features of the mode transition region (MTR), the phase-matching curve of the 11th cladding mode is investigated, and the response of the DCF-LPFG to the SRI is characterized by the change of wavelength intervals between the dual peaks under different outer cladding radii. The numerical simulation results show that the SRI sensitivity is greatly improved, which is available to 3484.0 nm/RIU with the fitting degree 0.998 in the SRI range of 1.33-1.37. The proposed DCF-LPFG can provide new theoretical support for designing the DCF-LPFG refractive index sensor with excellent performances of sensitivity, linearity and structure.

콘크리트 구조물의 열화방지를 위한 보호마감 복합화 신기술의 개발 (Development of New Hybrid Technique of Protective Finishing for the Prevention of Deterioration in Concrete Structures)

  • In this study, experimental research was carried out to develop protective finishing, coating materials and new hybrid technique for deteriorating prevention and high durability in concrete structures. It had sufficiently recommended performance for the protective finishing method of concrete structures through testings. This is more progressive double membrane method than single membrane type designed by conventional method. It was found that this hybrid construction method had very excellent performance to improve the durability of existing concrete structures and attain the beauty of concrete structures.
