공학설계입문 운영사례를 통한 설계과제 평가기준 탐색 (A Study on Evaluation Criteria of Design Project though a Case Study of Introduction to Engineering Design Course)

  • This paper explores and proposes the evaluation criteria of design projects in the entry-level design course. In the entry-level engineering design course the students proceeds various design projects to understand the concept of engineering design process and to develop the creativity. The evaluation criteria of design projects is very important component because the outcome of students in the engineering design course are effected from the evaluation criteria that enforces the students to focus on doing their task. According to this case study the evaluation criteria can be good solution to evaluate the design projects. By the outcome standard of ABEEK on the entry-level engineering design course the evaluation criteria was selected with the results of design projects such as design plan, report, handicrafts, objectives.

한국 제조업의 산업간 체화지식흐름구조 변화의 특성 (An Analysis of Structural Changes of Inter-industrial Embodied Knowledge Flow of Korean Manufacturing)

  • This paper analyzes the characteristics of embodied technological knowledge structure of Korean manufacturing in dynamic perspective. In doing that, the concept of the embodied knowledge network is introduced which is defined as a set of industries and their interactions(embodied knowledge flow) or linkages. The analysis of the inter-industrial embodied knowledge flows is conducted by using such methodologies as input-output technique, network analysis, indicator analysis and correlation analysis for a set of empirical data with reference period of 1983-1990. The main findings are as follow. First, as a whole, the structure of embodied knowledge flow can be classified into knowledge outflow sectors, inflow sectors and intermediary sectors. Second, outflow sectors exhibit a multi-central structure whereas inflow sectors form a dualistic structure. These idiosyncratic characteristics should be addressed in developing industrial policy.

  • One of challenging topics for humanoid hands is to modulate a human-like motion of humanoid fingers handling an object. To this end, recognizing the motion behavior of human fingers is very important aspect. Based on this concept, this paper identifies the .joint trajectories of human fingers for an operation of hand opening and closing, and specifies an empirical model that coordinates an inter-articular relationship of human fingers doing the given motion. It is expected that the inter-articular model presented in this paper is applicable for humanoid fingers to mimic the natural motion of human fingers.

  • 정보화가 가속되면서 정보의 효과적이고 정확한 전달과 보호에 대한 사회적 관심이 점점 높아가고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 정보사회와 이의 중요한 메카니즘이 되는 보편적 서비스의 개념을 살펴보고, 정보사회에 대한 상반된 두 가지의 이론적 견해를 비교해 본 뒤, 정보보안의 정의, 필요성, 구성요소 등을 분석하고, 다양한 정보 침해의 유형을 조사 설명한 뒤, 정보사회에서의 정보보안 전략을 기술적인 측면과 제도적인 측면으로 나누어 제시함으로서 정보보안의 확립과 정보사회에 대한 이해를 돕는데 일조함에 그 목적이 있다.

  • This study aims to develop a conceptual framework linking antecedents and consequences of online platform experience in the context of hospitality businesses. In doing so, an introduction to online platform experience in the hospitality industry was made, and environmental stimuli, that is, enablers of online platform experience were identified: information, entertainment and relation. Additionally, the theoretical review attempted to explain how customers are likely to be engaged in, and to be loyal to, the hospitality organizations' provisions in the context of online platforms. When presenting the theoretical model, a Stimulus-Organism-Response paradigm was employed to propose the hypotheses predicting positive online platform experience, which seems to derive from internally provoked cognition and affection within individuals, leading to behavioral consequences. This model is expected to be applicable to the online context, where hospitality businesses tend to adopt the concept of gamification and to implement associated loyalty programs. Finally, theoretical and practical implications, along with potential avenues of future research, were discussed.

  • Technical advances in computer networks and the Internet bring a new communication era and provide effective solutions for cooperative works and research. These technological advances introduced the concept of cyberspace that many people involve reseach and a project at different locations at the same time. In this paper, we present a fast and effective interaction protocol that is aeapted to the COLAB(COIIaborative LABoratory) Systems which use a high-speed ATM Network. The CCOLAB systems is developed for researchers those who are doing a large project on the collaborative research environment. The interaction protocol that we developed supports multi-session and multi-channel on the TCP/IP Network and provides more flexible solution to control multimedia data on the network.

  • The world we live in is called the age of information. Thus communication and computers are doing the central role in it. When one studies the mathematical problem, the use of tools such as computers, calculators and technology is available for all students, and then students are actively engaged in reasoning, communicating, problem solving, and making connections with mathematics, between mathematics and other disciplines. The use of technology extends to include computer algebra systems, spreadsheets, dynamic geometry software and the Internet and help active learning of students by analyzing data and realizing mathematical models visually. In this paper, we explain concepts of transformation, linear transformation, congruence transformation and homothety, and introduce interesting, meaningful and visual models for teaching of a plane transformation geomeoy which are obtained by using Mathematica. Moreover, this study will show how to visualize linear transformation for student's better understanding in teaching a plane transformation geometry in classroom. New development of these kinds of teaching-learning methods can simulate student's curiosity about mathematics and their interest. Therefore these models will give teachers the active teaching and also give students the successful loaming for obtaining the concept of linear transformation.

  • In this paper, we introduce a new genetic reordering operator based on the concept of schema to solve the Traveling Salesman Problem(TSP). Because TSP is a well-known combinatorial optimization problem and belongs to a NP-complete problem, there is a huge solution space to be searched. For robustness to local minima, the operator separates selected strings into two parts to reduce the destructive probability of good building blocks. And it applies inversion to the schema part to prevent the premature convergence. At the same time, it searches new spaces of solutions. In addition, we have the non-schema part to be applied to inversion as well as for robustness to local minima. By doing so, we can preserve diversity of the distributions in population and make GA be adaptive to the dynamic environment.

  • With the enormous growth of the Internet, an increasing number of people in corporations use the Internet for communicating with the outside world, for gathering information, and for doing business. Internet technology may have its greatest impact not on general culture, but rather on corporations. It has already begun to revolutionize the way that companies operate and do business. When Internet technology is applied and used inside a corporation, and open only to its employees, it is referred to as an Intranet. The same technologies that underlie corporate Intranets form the basis of the larger Internet. The benefit of Intranet is 1) low construction cost 2) easy system management 3) friendly user interface 4) OS and H/W independent, etc. This paper provides the concept of Internet and Intranet, compares client/server and Intranet environment, and propose case study of implementation from client/server to Intranet environment.
