Due to the increasing income of married working couples, people have become accustomed to dining out and spending more money when doing so. As a result, various restaurants are operating and new concept restaurants are emerging to meet the needs of customers. The purpose of dining-out depends upon who the companion is and the choice of restaurant and spending seems to be affected by the purpose. In addition, characteristics of consumers influence their dining-out behaviors. This study explored the relationship the between characteristics of consumers and their reasons for eating-out purpose, choice of restaurant, spending habits and preferred restaurant type.

Korea officially joined the ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array) project on August 17, 2014. Korea was allowed to apply for the Cycle 2 call-for-proposal before joining the project. Korea submitted 17 proposals, and 4 of them were selected as high-priority. The fund of an 11-year Korean ALMA project in the KASI (Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute) was approved. The project team formulated an ARC (ALMA Regional Center) node at the KASI and already started its supporting activities for the Korean Astronomical Society. The team also set up a future development plan for ASTE (Atacama Submillimeter Telescope Experiment) and ALMA. A couple of engineers are now doing concept design of a multi-beam receiver system for the ASTE, Because of the ALMA participation, Korea could also access open-use time of ASTE and Mopra telescopes organized by Japan. As of this writing, EACOA (East Asia Core Observatories Association) is now under discussion on making an organization called "East Asian Observatory" and the possible operation of JCMT (James Clerk Maxwell Telescope). I will briefly mention the future prospect of these activities.

Much western philosophical thinking is constrained by ocularcentrism. Hence, multi-sensory experiences hold the most prominent position in contemporary art, and visual tactility, where feelings of touch through sight, become a powerful medium of expression in fashion. This study analyzes visual tactility in Alexander McQueen's design, where design elements are in focus. This investigation aims to bring the concept of visual tactility in fashion, and by doing so, enhance valuable aesthetic possibility. The result of the study is as follows: First, Creative silhouette is something that is constructed by his impeccable cutting and tailoring skills. In fabrics, he often suggests unconventional materials by uncompromising approach to fashion. Color contrasts refer to color sensibility, which reminds of grotesque image. McQueen's aggressive aesthetic awareness results in visual tactility in fashion.

This paper explores the convergence process by focusing on the massively multiplayer online game(MMOG) industry and the online broadcasting industry in South Korea. In doing so, the paper seeks to establish the concept of Hidden catalysts for the integration process between the two industries and explore the roles of the Hidden catalysts in triggering the industry's transition. Further, the modified multi-level socio-technical model we applied in our research allows us both to understand each industry's development towards convergence in various dimensions and also to focus on the activities of the Hidden catalysts. In assessing the role of Hidden catalysts in industry convergence, we found that Hidden catalysts depend on two essential features: first, appropriate technology leading to the new industry dominance; and second, managerial capabilities to deal with conflicts among other new interest groups, to harmonise with government initiatives for industry development and to create new value in the integrated market to please the demand of mixed customers.

We propose a new concept of transmission-tribology design based on the investigation of development and existing problems of the gear drive and tribology. The content of transmission-tribology and transmission-tribology design is probed. Some effective methods of transmission-tribology design is probed. Some effective methods of transmission-tribology design are put forward. Partial achievements in this research are introduced tersely. Mechanical transmission, which is represented by the gear drive, and tribology are two main branches of mechanical engineering. They have their own definite research field. In recent years, we have been doing our utmost to suggest combining mechanical transmission-tribology and transmission-tribology design. Partial achievements in this research area are obtained.

This paper rejuvenates the existing discussion on the importance of cluster approach to industry development strategies. Current evidences suggest that the shape of economic policy and practice is changing significantly around the world. Governments continually search for new tools and policy formulas to improve economic performance and create economic prosperity for all citizens. In this context a more proactive and strategic role for government in support of the cluster-based economic development model has emerged. This paper uses Singapore's petrochemical industry as an example to study the cluster approach to industry development. In doing so, there is much optimism to the importance of state and its institutions to play a significant role on industry development. Nevertheless, the study also raises doubts on whether the cluster-based strategy is due to the concept itself or due to other important factors.

In this paper, the concept of accelerated life test, which is a popular research field nowadays, is applied to the shot peened material. To predict the efficient and exact room temperature fatigue characteristics from the high temperature fatigue data, the adequate accelerated model is investigated. Ono type rotary bending fatigue tester and high temperature chamber were used for the experiment. Room temperature fatigue lives were predicted by applying accelerated models and doing reliability evaluation. Room temperature fatigue tests were accomplished to check the effectiveness of predicted data and the adequate accelerated life test models were presented by considering errors. Experimental result using Arrhenius model, fatigue limit obtain almost 5.45% of error, inverse power law has about 1.36% of error, so we found that inverse power law is applied well to temperature-life relative of shot peened material.

The aim of this study is to provide the background of developing guides to clinical performance and basic clinical skills and to introduce how to teach and learn using the guide. The students' performance problems presented in an objective clinical skills examination were disease-centered tertiary hospital clinical care, incomplete performance, doing by rote, and an exam-oriented learning attitude. The problems were caused by a tertiary hospital-based educational environment as well as schools and faculty who are unfamiliar with the concept of patient-centered care. The purpose of the guide to clinical performance and basic clinical skills is to overcome these problems and address the causes. The guides show a clinical presentation approach to primary care; clinical care integrated with knowledge, skills, and attitude; a schematic approach; and a patient-centered attitude. To achieve these goals, a strategy to change the educational culture is important. Curricular reform, faculty development, and improving educational facilities and environments are suggested.

The purpose of this study is to identify the association of military looks with fascist aesthetics and to infer various aesthetic values of fascism expressed in military looks. The research method is documentary studies through the literature and academic papers, and examined masters' and doctors' theses, domestic and overseas books and fashion magazines, photographs and materials collected from the Internet. The facism expressed in military looks is as follows: First, nationalism, reflecting the current ideology of rebellion, appeals to the original national sentiment of the masses. Second, temptation implies that fascism tempts the mass using the nature of charisma rather than by force and, by doing so, accumulates mighty power without military force. Third, mythology is utilizing images and symbols of great appeal to people for absolute power beyond the concept of time. In order to express power for the effusion of emotional energy through the vision for realities and the magical power of images. Fourth, barbarism is always harbored in the conflict and confrontation of interests among ideas, economies, religions and classes on the other side of contemporary civilized society.

In this paper, we introduce a new genetic reordering operator based on the concept of schema to solve optimization problems such as the Traveling Salesman Problem(TSP) and maximizing or minimizing functions. In particular, because TSP is a well-known combinational optimization problem andbelongs to a NP-complete problem, there is huge solution space to be searched. For robustness to local minima, the operator separates selected strings into two parts to reduce the destructive probability of good building blocks. And it applies inversion to the schema part to prevent the premature convergence. At the same time, it searches new spaces of solutions. Additionally, the non-schema part is applied to inversion for robustness to local minima. By doing so, we can preserve diversity of the distributions in population and make GA be adaptive to the dynamic environment.
