The color mixture by using indigo and Japanese pagoda is worked on rayon, which is made of cellulose, to diversify colors of natural dyes. The process which is using indigo first and then Japanese pagoda can be allowed various possibilities of color combination than that of using Japanese pagoda first. And also the color mixture with the use of mordant which is using indigo first and then Japanese pagoda can be expected more effective to get diverse colors than that of using Japanese pagoda first.

The color mixture, obtained from Indigo and Japanese pagoda tree, was applied to cellulose fibers such as cotton, linen and rayon to diversify color gamut of natural dyes. The color mixture was tried with two different methods. The first process was that cellulose fibers were dyed with $5{\sim}25%$ owf Japanese pagoda tree solution, and then dyed 1 to 4 times with Indigo. The second process was dyeing 1 to 7 times with Indigo, followed by dyeing with $5{\sim}25%$ owf Japanese pagoda tree solution. K/S value of the dyed fibers with one colorant and color mixture increased in the order of linen, cotton, rayon. It was also found that the first process could give higher K/S values than the second process.

The recent global financial crisis has highlighted the importance of international monetary and financial system reform. The current system is deemed to be no longer adequate to meet the needs of a complex, integrated world economy. With regards to the reform of the international monetary system, there have been various proposals both in demand and supply sides. These include proposals to build a stronger global financial safety net, to diversify the supply of international reserve currency and so on. These proposals face trade-offs between desirability and political feasibility. Given this situation, a practical transition would be to strengthen policy coordination among the major economies and to reform the International Monetary Fund. The success on both fronts depends heavily on global economic governance reform and the role of the G20. Increased status and representation of Asian countries in the G20 give both privileges and responsibilities to Asians. To meet these responsibilities, Asians should put forth greater efforts to develop their intellectual leadership in global economic issues through creating new forum and institutions.

Proper installation of Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) devices in existing transmission networks can enable power systems to accommodate more power transfer with less network expansion cost. The problem to maximize transmission system loadability by determining optimal locations and settings for installations of two types of FACTS devices, namely static var compensator (SVC) and thyristor controlled series compensator (TCSC), is formulated as a mixed discrete-continuous nonlinear optimization problem (MDCP). For solving the MDCP, in the paper, the proposed method with fitness sharing technique involved in the updating process of the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, can diversify the particles over the search regions as much as possible, making it possible to achieve the optimal solution with a big probability. The modified IEEE-14 bus network and a practical power system are used to validate the proposed method.

In this paper, we propose a Probabilistic Tabu Search(PTS) method for hydro-thermal scheduling. Hydro scheduling has many constraints and very difficult to solve the optimal schedule because it has many local minima. To solve the problem effectively, the proposed method uses two procedures, one is Tabu search procedure that plays a role in local search, and the other is Restarting procedure that enables to diversify its search region. To adjust parameters such as a reducing rate and initial searching region, search strategy is selected according to its probability after Restarting procedure. In order to show the usefulness of the proposed method, the PTS is applied on two cases which have dependent hydro plants and compared to those of other method. The simulation results show it is very efficient and useful algorithm to solve the hydro-thermal scheduling problem.

Purpose - The purpose of this country analysis is to examine its current state: economically, politically, legally, and ethically, and look at small and medium Algerian businesses to identify any issues that could hinder economic and business performance and growth. Research Design, and Methodology - This is a case study, an analytical approach, which focuses on exploring and analyzing different aspects of Algeria. Results - Since 2008, the Algerian economy has experienced a relative slowdown due to falling oil and gas prices and the economic recessions of its main trading partners, in particular, European countries. Algeria has still not managed to diversify its economy or establish competitive industrialization at the international level; it has had difficulty shifting from its economic dependence on hydrocarbons. Algerian businesses continue to face obstacles and constraints, penalized in their performance and prevented from success in a dense and competitive global marketplace. Conclusion - The Algerian economy and Algerian businesses have shown positive performance and growth over the last few decades. However, issues exist that may hinder both business and economic progress in the future.

This study examined the use of intonation in children with single word sentences and investigated the communicative functions of pitch range and pitch direction. Two children aged 13months were observed in interaction with their mothers for 10 months. The vocalizations were coded separately for communicative function and for prosodic feature. Results show that level tones are used most frequently, and pitch range is higher for request than declaration or answer and lower for answer than request or declaration. And trends in prosodic contours were observed in request, declaration, and answer respectively. For one child, rising tones were frequently associated with request whereas rising-falling tone with declaration. For the other child, rising-level tones were more frequently associated with request whereas falling-level appeared more often in conjunction with declaration. These trends appeared more distinct in proportion as they grow in months. This result indicate that the way to express communicative functions transfer gradually from differentiating pitch range to diversify pitch direction.

Models and Strategies for Network Operator's B2B Ecommerce The B2B ecommerce market is one of the fastest growing areas in the telecom industry. However network operators have been slow to enter the arena, Network operator have been held back by their general unsurety about the Internet business. Network operators'core business(the supply of connectivity and transport service) is becoming unprofitable. As a result they are looking to diversify into areas where margins are higher. B2B ecommerce offers them a major way to achieve this. It is possible to identify various business models for offering ecommerce services to end user, ranging from the provision of complete packaged applications to the implementation and management of customized ecommerce solution. In this study the three main approaches available to network operators are the traditional IT outsourcing model, the ASP model and the community builder model.

As far as recent investment in railway, disused railway yards is increased in each line and region. As a result, the interest of the related local government and agencies has increased on utilizing disused railway yards. In this study, we investigated the status of the disused railway yards and conducted legal review on the use of disused railway yards. In addition, we analyzed the disused railway yards use practices through case analysis and also suggested plans to diversify the ways of their usage.
