웹 기반의 기초간호자연과학 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 개발 -심장의 구조와 기능을 중심으로- (Multimedia Contents Development of Web-based Basic Nursing Physical Science -Centered on Structure and Function of Heart-)

  • This study was conducted to develop web-based distance learning program of basic nursing physical science which was composed of a multimedia contents such as documents, voices and pictures. This was to advance curriculum of basic nursing physical science based on a proper nursing characteristics related to other major nursing subjects and induce a new and creative method to gain a knowledge. Based on a general learning design model, distance learning program was developed centered on a structure and function of heart physical science in 1999. The stages of development were like this. Firstly, at the analytic stage, specific units and contents for developing multimedia contents were decided and presentation methods for each item were designed and then the evaluation items were developed. Secondly, at the design stage, the most effective design of multimedia construction was selected and interfaces, basic frames, and presentation elements were chosen. Thirdly, at the developmental stage, internet files were designed using Namo web editor 4.0 and this files were modified with Adobe Photoshop.

  • This study aims to investigate factors affecting eBook acceptance and learning outcomes among students experiencing online distance learning. As conventional textbooks are now switched into eBooks, the effects of contextual factors including lecturer, student computer competency, content and design of the course, access ability, infrastructure, and university support on eBook acceptance and learning outcome needs to be evaluated. The sample of this study is represented by students at the Universiti Teknologi MARA, City Campus Melaka, undertaking 'strategic management course'. Non-probability random sampling was selected as the sampling technique and a purposive sampling method was chosen to select the samples. The samples comprised 171 students randomly selected through Google Form. The questionnaire data was analyzed by using PLS-SEM. The results indicated that these factors contributed 62.3% variations in the eBook acceptance and 67.1% variations in the learning outcomes. The strongest factor affecting both dependent variables was content and design of course. Managerial implication suggested that the content for all courses taught through the eBook platform needs to be revisited and improved in accordance with the mode of online deliverance. Tutorial on how to navigate the eBook platform is important to all users as this would enhance acceptance and produce better learning outcomes among students.

  • The article examines the opit of foreign authors on the problem distance education, it was found that at present there are many opinions about distance and e-education, but there is no single accepted definition; clarified the definition of distance education in the framework of this work; the main tools of Internet marketing were highlighted, outlined main characteristics, as well as advantages and disadvantages; the tools of promotion on the Internet have been analyzed.

  • 저작권법은 저작자의 권리와 그 권리에 대한 제한을 통하여 문화의 향상발전에 이바지하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 학교교육 목적을 위한 경우와 도서관에서의 이용에 대하여 저작권자의 일부 권리를 제한시키는 규정은 저작재산권 제한의 대표적인 예이다. 본 논문은 원격교육을 지원하는 도서관정보 서비스 과정에서 발생하는 저작권 문제를 고찰하고 문제점과 해결방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저, 원격교육과정에 참여하는 교육자와 피교육자에 의한 저작물 사용시 저작권 문제가 기존의 면대면 교육상황과 어떻게 다른지 고찰하였다. 또한 원격교육을 지원하는 도서관서비스 중 전자지정도서제 운영, 전자적 도서관상호대차 및 전자적 문헌전달서비스 과정에 있어서 저작권 문제를 고찰하고, 현행 저작권법에서 해당 법조항의 문제점과 개정방안을 제시하였다.

Analyzing Learners Behavior and Resources Effectiveness in a Distance Learning Course: A Case Study of the Hellenic Open University

  • Learning analytics, or educational data mining, is an emerging field that applies data mining methods and tools for the exploitation of data coming from educational environments. Learning management systems, like Moodle, offer large amounts of data concerning students' activity, performance, behavior, and interaction with their peers and their tutors. The analysis of these data can be elaborated to make decisions that will assist stakeholders (students, faculty, and administration) to elevate the learning process in higher education. In this work, the power of Excel is exploited to analyze data in Moodle, utilizing an e-learning course developed for enhancing the information computer technology skills of school teachers in primary and secondary education in Greece. Moodle log files are appropriately manipulated in order to trace daily and weekly activity of the learners concerning distribution of access to resources, forum participation, and quizzes and assignments submission. Learners' activity was visualized for every hour of the day and for every day of the week. The visualization of access to every activity or resource during the course is also obtained. In this fashion teachers can schedule online synchronous lectures or discussions more effectively in order to maximize the learners' participation. Results depict the interest of learners for each structural component, their dedication to the course, their participation in the fora, and how it affects the submission of quizzes and assignments. Instructional designers may take advice and redesign the course according to the popularity of the educational material and learners' dedication. Moreover, the final grade of the learners is predicted according to their previous grades using multiple linear regression and sensitivity analysis. These outcomes can be suitably exploited in order for instructors to improve the design of their courses, faculty to alter their educational methodology, and administration to make decisions that will improve the educational services provided.

간호대학생의 인지적 유연성과 이러닝 디지털 리터러시가 학습몰입에 미치는 영향 (The influence of e-learning digital literacy on cognitive flexibility and learning flow in nursing students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of cognitive flexibility and e-learning digital literacy on the learning flow of nursing students who had experienced e-learning. Methods: The research design for this study was a descriptive survey using convenience sampling. Data were collected using online questionnaires completed by 134 nursing students in Andong city and Pocheon city. The data were analyzed using percentages, mean values, standard deviations, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression with SPSS for Windows version 22.0. Results: Positive correlations were found between learning flow and e-learning digital literacy (r = .43, p < .001), between learning flow and cognitive flexibility (r = .52, p < .001), and between e-learning digital literacy and cognitive flexibility (r = .65, p < .001). In the multiple regression analysis, cognitive flexibility (β = .42, p < .001) was a significant predictor that explained 27.8% of variance in learning flow. Conclusion: The results of this study show that cognitive flexibility is a factor influencing learning flow in nursing students. Based on the results of the study, educational programs aiming to improve learning flow should include methods that improve cognitive flexibility.

Mercer Kernel Isomap

  • Isomap [1] is a manifold learning algorithm, which extends classical multidimensional scaling (MDS) by considering approximate geodesic distance instead of Euclidean distance. The approximate geodesic distance matrix can be interpreted as a kernel matrix, which implies that Isomap can be solved by a kernel eigenvalue problem. However, the geodesic distance kernel matrix is not guaranteed to be positive semidefinite. In this paper we employ a constant-adding method, which leads to the Mercer kernel-based Isomap algorithm. Numerical experimental results with noisy 'Swiss roll' data, confirm the validity and high performance of our kernel Isomap algorithm.

  • 이러닝을 활용한 원격교육은 평생교육의 측면에서 교육의 내용과 방법에 대한 선택의 다양성을 제공하고 있다. 양질의 콘텐츠와 이를 운영하는 학습관리시스템의 효과적 운영은 원격교육의 효과성을 높이는 중요한 요인이라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 원격교육의 질을 높이는 데 필요한 학습관리시스템의 현황을 분석하였다. 현황 분석과 함께 원격교육의 학습관리시스템 기능에 대해 델파이를 통해 전문가의 의견을 수렴하였다. 전문가 의견 수렴을 토대로 본 연구는 원격교육의 효과성을 높일 수 있는 학습관리시스템에 필요한 기능을 제안하였다.

  • K-means is a popular one in clustering algorithms, and it minimizes the mutual euclidean distance among the sample points. But K-means has some demerits, such as depending on initial condition, unsupervised learning and local optimum. However mahalanobis distancecan deal this case well. In this paper, the author proposed a new clustering algorithm, named exponential probability clustering, which applied Mahalanobis distance into K-means clustering. This new clustering does possess not only the probability interpretation, but also clustering merits. Finally, the simulation results also demonstrate its good performance compared to K-means algorithm.

AQ-NAV: 수중통신에서 거리 추정을 이용한 강화 학습 기반 채널 접속 기법 (AQ-NAV: Reinforced Learning Based Channel Access Method Using Distance Estimation in Underwater Communication)

  • 본 논문은 기존 강화학습 기반 수중통신 예약방식에서 성능 저하 요인 중 하나인 긴 학습 시간을 단축시킴으로써 에너지 소모를 감소시킬 수 있는 향상된 채널 접속 기법을 제안한다. 수중 무선 네트워크에서 노드 간 거리를 추정하여 이를 바탕으로 기존 강화 학습 기반 채널 접속 방법의 학습 범위의 최대, 최소치를 결정한다. 이는 기존 강화학습의 학습 범위를 줄일 수 있다. 수중 무선 네트워크 환경의 특성에 따른 거리 추정값의 오차를 고려하여 NAV 학습 범위를 고려하며, 이를 적용하기 위해 인위적으로 간섭의 크기를 변경시켜가며 학습 진행률에 대한 성능 테스트를 진행하였다. 실험 결과 기존 방법 대비 제안된 AQ-NAV 방안의 경우, 20-40회 학습에서도 360개의 학습 배열 중 평균 340-350개 이상의 학습 배열이 학습이 진행되었고 50회 이상 학습에서는 모든 학습 배열에 대하여 학습이 진행되었다. 반면, 기존 연구의 경우 학습이 120회 이상 진행되어도 360개의 배열 중 300-320개의 배열에 대한 학습이 진행되었다. 실험에서는 기존 대비 적은 횟수의 시도로 학습이 가능함을 보여준다. AQ-NAV가 수중 무선 네트워크에 적용될 경우 에너지 소비 절감을 통해 기존의 방안의 문제점을 완화하고 네트워크 성능 향상을 이룰 것으로 예상된다.
