Most of past image processing systems have been designed independent of image contents. Now, evolving computation power is making the "image-dependent" elegant algorithms possible to get the better image renditions on display. This paper introduces our recent approaches to quality and pleasant imaging based on image-dependent. Three typical approaches to comfortable "Sharpness", "Lightness", and "Color" renditions on display image arc presented.

Major display equipment suppliers have introduced equipment using ink jets for manufacturing steps such as printing the polyimide alignment layer and printing color filters. 현대 사회가 정보화 사회로 변천해 감에 따라 정보처리 장치를 많이 사용하게 되었으며 기계와 인간을 연결하는 매체가 필요하게 되었다. 이러한 매체중의 하나로 부각되어진 것이 영상정보표시장치이며 현재는 다종의 DISPLAY가 사용되고 있다. 이러한 DISPLAY중에서도 현재까지 가장 많이 이용되고 있는 DISPLAY DEVICE는 CRT와 CPT가 있지만 소비전력이 많고 무거우며 부피가 크다는 단점을 가지고 있기 때문에 보다 새로운 DISPLAY DEVICE가 요구되게 되었다.

Research and development on flexible electronic displays has gone on for over 20 years. Despite this history, very few flexible displays have entered the marketplace. I will discuss the history of development of flexible display technology and the technical and market forces that have slowed the commercialization of this technology.

Lamp mura has become a challenge for slim LCD-TV backlight design. The aim of this paper is to apply a novel diffuser plate to improve lamp mura issue instead of increasing lamps or optical films. The results are positive and contribute to the design of slimmer TV without cost up.
