While the demand for robots in the manufacturing industry has dramatically increased, the industrial robots' functionality is mainly determined by the effector attached to the end of their arms. They need a flexible gripping system that can act as a human hand and easily grasp a variety of objects, which requires resilient sensors. This study clarifies the electrical output characteristics of elastic tactile sensors according to contact terminals because the output characteristics of the tactile sensors vary greatly, depending on the contact material and the method of contact with the conductive wire. Our research considers the Three Roll Mill and Paste Mixer as the dispersion medium, and a nickel- and gold-plated brass electrode as the contact terminal.

One of unique characteristics of guided waves is a dispersive behavior that guided wave velocity changes with an excitation frequency and mode. In practical applications of guided wave techniques, it is very important to identify propagating modes in a time-domain waveform for determination of defect location and size. Mode identification can be done by measurement of group velocity in a time-domain waveform. Thus, it is preferred to generate a single or less dispersive mode But in many cases, it is difficult to distinguish a mode clearly in a time-domain waveform because of superposition of multi modes and mode conversion phenomena. Time-frequency analysis is used as efficient methods to identify modes by presenting wave energy distribution in a time-frequency. In this study, experimental guided wave mode identification is carried out in a steel plate using time-frequency analysis methods such as wavelet transform. The results are compared with theoretically calculated group velocity dispersion curves. The results are in good agreement with analytical predictions and show the effectiveness of using the wavelet transform method to identify and measure the amplitudes of individual guided wave modes.

An induced hesitant linguistic aggregation operator is investigated in the paper, in which, hesitant fuzzy linguistic evaluation values are associated with probabilistic information. To deal with these hesitant fuzzy linguistic information, an induced hesitant fuzzy linguistic probabilistic ordered weighted averaging (IHFLPOWA) operator is proposed, monotonicity, boundary and idempotency of IHFLPOWA are proved. Then andness, orness and the entropy of dispersion of IHFLPOWA are analyzed, which are used to characterize the weighting vector of the operator, these properties show that IHFLPOWA is extensions of the induced linguistic ordered weighted averaging operator and linguistic probabilistic aggregation operator. In this paper, IHFLPOWA is utilized to gather linguistic information and create fuzzy ontologies, and a movie fuzzy ontology as an illustrative case study is used to show the elaboration of the proposed method and comparison with the existing linguistic aggregation operators, it seems that the IHFLPOWA operator is an useful and alternative operator for dealing with hesitant fuzzy linguistic information with probabilistic information.
RTI (Rayleigh-Taylor instability) is investigated by a multi-liquid MPS (Moving Particle Semi-implicit) method for both viscous and inviscid flows for various density differences, initial-disturbance amplitudes, viscosities, and surface tensions. The MPS simulation can be continued up to the late stage of high nonlinearity with complicated patterns and its initial developments agree well with the linear theoretical results. According to the relevant linear theory, the difference between inviscid and viscous fluids is the rising velocity at which upward-mushroom-like RTI flow with vortex formation is generated. However, with the developed MPS program, significant differences in both growing patters and developing speeds are observed. Also, more dispersion can be observed in the inviscid case. With larger Atwood (AT) number, stronger RTI flows are developed earlier, as expected, with higher potential-energy differences. With larger initial disturbances, quite different patterns of RTI-development are observed compared to the small-initial-disturbance case. If AT number is small, the surface tension tends to delay and suppress the RTI development when it is sufficiently large. Interestingly, at high AT number, the RTI-suppressions by increased surface tension become less effective.
Titanium sulfate supported on $TiO_2$was prepared by impregnation of powdered $TiO_2$with an aqueous solution of titanium sulfate followed by calcining in air at high temperature. For Ti$(SO_4)_2/TiO_2$ samples calcined at 300 $^{\circ}C$, no diffraction lines of titanium sulfate are observed at $Ti(SO_4)_2$loading up to 30 wt%, indicating good dispersion of $Ti(SO_4)_2$ on the surface of $TiO_2$. The acidity of the catalysts increased in proportion to the titanium sulfate content up to 20 wt% of $Ti(SO_4)_2$. 20 wt% $Ti(SO_4)_2/TiO_2$ calcined at 300 $^{\circ}C$ exhibited maximum catalytic activities for 2-propanol dehydration and cumene dealkylation. The catalytic activities for these reactions, were correlated with the acidity of catalysts measured by ammonia chemisorption method.
A novel self-humidifying composite membrane for the proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) at low humidity condition was developed. The $Pt/TiO_2 catalyst particles were synthesized via supercritical impregnation methods. Pt precursor was dissolved in supercritical carbon dioxide and impregnated onto $TiO_2$ particles. Pt precursors were platinum(II) acetylacetonate, Dimethyl(1,5-cyclooctadiene) platinum(II) and we controlled the ratio of Pt to $TiO_2$ The impregnated Pt precursor was converted to $TiO_2$ supported Pt nanoparticle under various reducing conditions. $TiO_2$ catalyst particles were dispersed uniformly into the Nafion solution, and then $Pt/TiO_2/Nafion$composite membrane was prepared using solution-cast method. The size, dispersion and content of the platinum had been characterized with Transmission Electron Micrograph (TEM), X-ray diffract ion (XRD) and Inductively Coupled Plasma - Atomic Emission Spectrometer (ICP-AES). The cell performance with the self-humidifying composite membrane was compared with a recast Nafion membrane under both humidified and dry conditions at 65 $^{\circ}C$.

LCD-BLU is one of kernel parts of LCD and it consists of several optical sheets: LGP, light source and mold frame. The LGP of LCD-BLU is usually manufactured by etching process and forming numerous dots with $50\sim300{\mu}m$ diameter on the surface. But the surface of the etched dots of LGP is very rough due to the characteristics of the etching process during the mold fabrication, so that its light loss is high along with the dispersion of light into the surface. Accordingly, there is a limit in raising the luminance of LCD-BLU. In order to overcome the limit of current etched dot patterned LGP, optical pattern with continuous microlens was designed using optical simulation CAE. Also, a mold with continuous micro-lens was fabricated by UV-LiGA reflow process and applied to 7 inch size of navigator LCD-BLU in the present study.
Conductive polymer composites (CPCs) consist of a polymeric matrix and a conductive filler, for example, carbon black, carbon fibers, graphite or carbon nanotubes (CNTs). The critical amount of the electrically conductive filler necessary to build up a continuous conductive network, and accordingly, to make the material conductive; is referred to as the percolation threshold. From technical and economical viewpoints, it is desirable to decrease the conductive-filler percolation-threshold as much as possible. In this study, we investigated the effect of polymer/conductive-filler interactions, as well as the processing and morphological development of low-percolation-threshold (${\Phi}c$) conductive-polymer composites. The aim of the study was to produce conductive composites containing less multi-walled CNTs (MWCNTs) than required for pure polypropylene (PP) through two approaches: one using various mixing methods and the other using immiscible polymer blends. Variants of the conductive PP composite filled with MWCNT was prepared by dry mixing, melt mixing, mechanofusion, and compression molding. The percolation threshold (${\Phi}c$) of the MWCNT-PP composites was most successfully lowered using the mechanofusion process than with any other mixing method (2-5 wt%). The mechanofusion process was found to enhance formation of a percolation network structure, and to ensure a more uniform state of dispersion in the CPCs. The immiscible-polymer blends were prepared by melt mixing (internal mixer) poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF, PP/PVDF, volume ratio 1:1) filled with MWCNT.

HI decomposition step certainly demand catalytic reaction for efficient production of hydrogen in SI process. Platinum catalyst can apply to HI decomposition reaction as well as hydrogenation or dehydrogenation. Generally, noble metal is used as catalyst which is loaded form for getting high dispersion and wide active area. In this study, Pt was loaded onto zirconia, ceria, alumina, and silica by impregnation method. HI decomposition reaction was carried out under the condition of $450^{\circ}C$, 1atm, and $167.76h^{-1}$ (WHSV) in a fixed bed reactor for measuring catalytic activity. And property of a catalyst was observed by BET, TEM, XRD and chemisoption analysis. On the basis of experimental results, we discussed about conversion of HI according to physical properties of the loaded Pt catalyst onto each support.
We can classify two cases in a way to observe an atom of gas state or a molecule using the laser. First case is way to use dispersion phenomenon like Rayleigh scattering, Thomson scattering, Mie scattering, Raman Scattering. And Second case is a way to use change phenomenon like a LAS (Laser Absorption Spectroscopy), LIF (Laser Induced Fluorescent). In this paper, we have measured the meta-stable density and the distribution by using a LAS method in Xe discharge lamp. The laser absorption spectroscopy (LAS) is useful to investigate the behavior of such species. The xenon atoms in the $1S_4$ and $1S_5$ generate excited $Xe^*$(147nm) and $Xe_{2}^*$(173nm) dimers in Xe plasma. It is found that the intensity of VUV 147nm emission is proportional to that of the IR 828nm emission, and the VUV 173nm emission is roughly proportional to that of the IR 823nm emission. The laser is used CW laser that consist of AlGaAs semiconductor and energy level is used 823.16nm wavelength. We measured signal of monochrometer from the lamp center while will change a discharge electric current by 6mA in 3mA and calculated meta-stable state density of a xenon atom through a measured value.
