  • Increment of mobile client's information request in wireless mobile networks requires a new method to manage and serve the streaming media object. This paper proposes a new object segment grouping method for enhancing the performance of streaming media services in wireless mobile networks. The proposed method performs the similarity metric for the partitioned object segments, and it process the disjunction, conjunction, and filtering for these metrics. This paper was to decided the partitioned group of object segments for these operation metrics, and it decided the performance of streaming media services. The simulation result showed that the proposed method has better performance in throughput, average startup latency, and cache hit ratio.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate Seonyudo Park and Kkummaru in terms of haptic space. This is also an attempt to explore temporality of appearing in architectural spaces with reference to cinematic expression in which time is visible and perceptible. The film of Chris Marker's La Jet$\acute{e}$e depicts temporal relationship by indeterminate continuum, reading the space on the disjunctive relationships of visual and auditory, and aberrance of time and space. Based on the three categories that is derived from those discussions, this study analyzes the experience of non-chronological time induced by architectural devices: the bifurcation of indeterminate circulation, the readability of space on the disjunction of visual and auditory, and the border-dismantling. Therefore, this study have a relationship with the contemporary discourse on time and events as transformation and becoming, and it means to escape from the deterministic thinking to emphasize invariability and space rather than variation and time.

  • Negative Stripping Construction in English involves the disjunction but, the adverb not, and a constituent NP. This construction is an incomplete sentence although it delivers a complete sentential meaning. Interpretation of this construction may be ambiguous in that the constituent NP can either be construed as the subject, or as the complements including the object. To generate such sentences and resolve the issue of ambiguity, we propose a construction-based analysis under direct interpretation approach, rejecting previous analyses based on deletion approaches. In so doing, we suggest a negative stripping construction rule that can account for ambiguous meaning. This rule further can enable us to explain syntactic structures and readings of Negative Stripping Construction.

  • Kleene first investigated a three-valued system which follows the evaluations of the Lukasiewicz infinite-valued logic ${\L}C$ with respect to negation, conjunction, and disjunction, and treats $\rightarrow$ as material-like implication in the sense that A $\rightarrow$ B is defined as ${\sim}A{\vee}B$ in its evaluation. Diense and Rescher extended it to many-valued logic and infinite-valued logic, respectively. This paper investigates a variant of the infinite-valued Kleene-Diense logic KD, which we shall call strong Kleene-Diense logic (sKD): sKD has the same evaluations as KD except that sKD takes a variant of Kleene-Diense implication. Following the idea of Dunn [2], we provide algebraic completeness for sKD together with its deduction theorem.

  • Among the classification of maxillary fracture, the Le Fort classification is the best-known categorization. Le Fort (1901) completed experiments that determined the maxilla areas of structural weakness which he designated as the "lines of weakness". According to these results, there are three basic fracture line patterns (transverse, pyramidal and craniofacial disjunction). A transverse fracture is a Le Fort I fracture that is above the level of the apices of the maxillary teeth section, including the entire alveolar process of the maxilla, vault of the palate and inferior ends of the pterygoid processes in a single block from the upper craniofacial skeleton. Le Fort fractures result in both a cosmetic and a functional deficit if treated inappropriately. In this article, authors review the management of a Le Fort I fracture with a case-based discussion.

  • The purpose of this article is to study characteristics of Soma Cube in combinatorial-geometric point of view, and to present basic substances and direction for efficient Soma cube activities in school mathematics upon systematical analysis of methods of finding solutions using Inclusion-Exclusion Method. We can apply Inclusion-Exclusion Method to find all possible solutions in Soma Cube activities not as trial-and-error method but as analytical method. Because Inclusion-Exclusion Method can reduce the number of problem-solving variables by making high conjunction in the choice of pieces. Soma cube pieces can be sorted as 'flat' ones and 'non-flat' ones, which would be another effective method in the manipulation of Soma Cube pieces.

  • Purpose : This study was attempted to explore the paramedic student's experience on simulation education. Methods : Data were collected through in-depth interviews from 15 paramedic students. The study was analyzed by phenomenological method, specifically Colaizzi's method. From the protocol, significant statements were organized into formulated meanings. Results : The formulated meanings were identified 35 themes, 12 theme clusters, and 6 categories. The 6 categories include burden of demonstration, role experience as a paramedic, confidence in field treatment, sense of disjunction caused by difference from real situation, realization and learning by oneself, and sense of stability from hypothetical situation. Conclusion : This study suggested that, even though some negative perceptions were observed, simulation education will fit as a replacement for the field practice of paramedic's students given that more field-like practice environment and repetitive simulation education are present.

  • An ATMS(Assumption-based Truth Maintenance System) has been widely used for maintaining the truth of information by detecting and solving contradictions in nile-based systems. But the ATMS can not correctly maintain the truth of the information in case that the generated information is satisfied within a time interval or includes data about temporal relations of events in time varying situations, because it has no mechanism manipulating temporal data. In this paper, The extended ATMS method is proposed, which can maintain the truth of the information in the inference system using information changing over time or temporal relations of events. In order to maintain contexts generated by relations of events, the label representation method is modified, the disjunction, conjunction simplification method in the label-propagation procedure and nogood handling method of the conventional ATMS are modified, too.

  • Subsocial woodroaches of Cryptocercus occur in high mountainous forests in temperate regions and they live in a family in complicated galleries of rotten logs. A prominent feature of the geographical distribution of Cryptocercus is the wide disjunction between the eastern and western species in North America, and between West China and Northeast Asia. Recently, five species of the genus were added from Asian areas and two of them are distributed in Northeast Asian areas. We examined morpho-anatomical structures of male genitalia in Manchurian and Korean Cryptocercus, focusing on male genital hooks and subgenital plates.
