As being various user telephone number after entry of new telecommunication enterprise, management of systematic Directory Assistance Service is required. Also through providing competition of Directory Assistances Service, enhancement of Service quality and development of new Service are induced. In this study, there is researched the overall view of present Directory Assistance Service in priority Korean Telecom and the oversea's Directory Assistance Service for U.S.A, England, Australia, Japan. As result of study, we want to suggest the appointment of unified Directory Database Management Company and outsourcing of Directory Assistance Service to that company but in reality, there may be other idea also with regard to various circumstances.

LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) Directory Service provides information for locating resources like files and devices over the network such as Internet or Intranet. Since LDAP is widely accepted as one of the standard directory service structure for the Internet, it is desirable that a group of LDAP servers works transparently and continuously even if the related network partitions temporally, through maintaining replicated directory information among those LDAP servers. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of a robust LDAP sewer, which runs as a process group in JACE group communication system, and the associated LDAP service provider which enables Java applications to use the developed LDAP directory service.

With the evolution of Internet technologies and the increasing variety of Internet devices, advertisements in various web services have also expanded. Interactive web services often go hand in hand with effective advertisements for a business model. We estimated statistical parameters of the interactive web server for service monitoring and advertisement-effect. In the web pages, we integrated the plugins of social networking services (SNSs) (e.g. Facebook, Twitter) and an advertisement scheme (e.g. Google AdSense) that regards social name-directory contents. Empirical data analysis and statistical results are presented with the implementation of estimations of parameters (e.g. utilization-level and serviceability) and advertisements in a social networking name-directory service (http://ktrip.net or http://한국.net). We found that estimated parameters were applicable to service monitoring of web-server as well as to synthesis of advertisement-effect in our social-web name-directory service.

In this paper, we developed those Directory Services based on the Web-Service, because Web-Service environments provide a suitable method to gather requested information in an appropriate way. The proposed architecture cooperate with other OpenLS(Open Location Service) Core Services ( Location Utility Service and Router Determin ation service) and is an interoperability one - it ident ifies those global elements of the global Web-Services network that are required in order to ensure interoperability between Web-Services. In this paper, a new architecture of Directory Service with OpenLS Core Services is proposed and tested in OpenLS Core Services environments.

Mobile directory has offered just the same function until now, SNS service also has offered for our to meet other people and liaise between person and person. But it has a important thing which can not offer direct to liaise between person and person. In this paper, we has developed the "SNS Consolidation Directory" for solve the problem which needs to modern people with. A main purpose of SNS Consolidation Directory will develop the smart directory which offer to improve SNS service and personal relation supervision. This system function has initial search, anniversary, birthday alarm, using the UI contact frequency, SNS service and directory exchange.

Advanced Intelligent Network(AIN) and X.500 directory service have similarity in between. X.500 capabilities and the requirements for the Service Control Function(SCF) to Service Data Function(SDF) in AIN. As an interface, SCF can be mapping as a Directory User Agent(DUA) and SDF can be mapping as a Directory System Agent(DSA). Based on the concepts, X.500 directory can be applied to AIN. In this paper we suggest to apply the X.500 DSP to the SDF/SDF interface to perform a distribution function. Also we show that the SCF-SDF/SDF-SDF relationship can be possible under applying X.500 DAP/DSP within the set of Capability Set 1 (CS1),CS2 and CS3. Finally, based on the above contents, we introduce the designed schematic of AIN SDF Server System for a distributed processing in AIN and design the X.500 schema of Universal Personal Telecommunication(UPT) service for supporting AIN SDF Server.

본 논문은 Directory Service(white page, yellow page, green page)를 분산환경에 적합하고 시스템 유연성을 고려하기 위해서 EJB(Enterprise Java Bean)기반 Webservice로 구현한 방법론 및 그 시스템에 관한 논문이다. 기존 개발된 Directory Service가 대부분 폐쇄적 네트워크를 사용하고 있으므로 시스템 자체에 유연성이 없는 정적인 시스템으로 구현이 되어있고, 플랫폼에 의존하는 아키텍쳐로 설계 되었다. 따라서 본 논문은 이러한 서비스 비개방 특성을 극복하기 위해서 개발 아키텍쳐를 웹서비스(Web Service)환경을 기본으로 하고 분산컴퓨팅환경(Distributed Computing Environment)의 특성을 고려하기 위해서 EJB로 개발이 되었다.

This paper proposes directory service protocol in distributed environment. By adding an condition retrieval function to Modify operation, the ExtModify operation improves the inconvenience to transfer a search operation and resume a Modify operation. The method suggests how to correct all the entries which require retrieval condition out of other entries designated by LDAPND.

전자전화번호부 서비스는 HiTEL단말기 및 기존의 PC를 소유한 가입자의 전화번호 관련문의에 대해 신속, 정확한 정보를 제공하는 비디오텍스 응용시스팀으로서 통신처리시스팀, 서비스검색시스팀, 화일관리시스팀으로 나뉠 수 있다. 전화번호화일은 가입자에 따라 인명부, 업종상호부로 나뉘어 CISAM 방식의 화일로 구현하였으며, 상호인 경우 1:N 필드관계를 지원하여 하나의 전화번호에 대해 다수 업종의 지원이 가능하다. 전화가입자의 일일 변동자료의 처리및 화일의 갱신에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

전자전화번호부 서비스(EDS)는 기존 전화번호정보 안내의 목적인 114전화번호안내 서비스, 전화번호부 발간, 가입자 직접검색서비스등의 각기 고유의 정보제공 방법에서 각 개체가 가진 전화번호관련 정보를 부가가치를 지닌 정보로 재구축하여 공익서비스의 측면에서 사용자가 HITEL단말기를 이용하여 White page정보 및 yellow page 정보를 문자및 화상형태로 제공받을 수 있는 비데오텍스 응용서비스로써, 본고에서는 EDS 검색시스팀 개발에 관련된 연구결과를 정리하였다.
