인덕션 방식을 이용한 평면 스테이지의 동특성 개선 (Improvement of Dynamic Characteristic of Large-Areal Planar Stage Using Induction Principle)

  • Instead of direct driving like BLDC, the induction principle is adopted as a driving one for planar stage. The stage composed of four linear induction motors put in square type is activated by two-axial forces; low-frequency attractive force and thrust force of the linear induction motors. Here, the modified vector control whose new inputs are q-axis current and dc current biased to three phase current instead of d-axis current or flux current is applied extensively to overall motion of the stage. For the developed system, the precision step test and the constant velocity test are tried to guarantee its feasibility for TFT-LCD pattern inspection. However, to exclude a discontinuity due to phase shift and minimize a force ripple synchronized with the command frequency, the initial system is revised to the antagonistic structure over the full degree of freedom. Concretely describing, the porous air bearings guide an air-gapping of the stage up and down and a pair of liner induction motors instead of single motor are activated in the opposite direction each other. The performances of the above systems are compared from trapezoid tracking test and sinusoidal test.

  • 이 논문에서는 웹 미디어(웹 기반의 하이퍼미디어) 시스템에서 이산 확률 분포 함수와 사용자 프로파일 기반의 동적 적응 모델을 제안하였다. 이 모델은 응용 영역을 동적 적응 객체의 가중치 방향성 그래프로 표현하며, 사용자 행위를 이산 확률 함수를 동적으로 구축하는 접근 방식을 이용하여 모델링한다. 제안한 확률적 해석은 웹 미디어 구조에서 사용자의 탐색 행위를 추적하여 사용자 행위에 대한 잠재적 속성을 나타내는데 사용될 수 있다. 이러한 접근 방식은 사용자에게 가장 알맞은 프로파일을 동적으로 할당할 수 있다.

  • This paper presents a detailed study of the extended Kalman filter for estimating the rotor speed of an IM drive. The general structure of the Kalman filter is reviewed and the various system vectors and matrices are defined. By including the rotor speed as a state variable, the EKF equations are established from a discrete two axis model of the three-phase induction motor using the software MATLAB/Simulink, simulation of the EKF speed estimation algorithm is carried out for an induction motor drive with direct self control. The investigations show that the EKF is capable of tracking the actual rotor speed provided that the elements of the covariance matrices are properly selected.

SAW 소자를 이용한 직접확산방식 스펙트럼확산 통신의 고속동기 시스템 (A Fast Synchronization System of DS Spread Spectrum Communication Using SAW Components)

  • 본 논문에서는 SAW TDL정합필터와 SAW 재순환 루프를 이용하여 SNR이 낮은 경우의 직접확산 방식 스펙트럼확산 통신의 수신단에서 포착 및 추적의 구분없이 동기를 수행할 수 있는 고속동기 시스템을 설계하여 그 특성을 조사하였다. 그 수신단에서 SNR이 -16dB인 신호를 입력시켰을때 이를 SAW TDL정합필터와 재순환루프를 통해 30회 순환시켜 동기신호를 추출하여 수신단의 PN코드를 동기시킬 수 있었다. 그리고 이 동기 시스템의 평균 동기 시간을 계산하였다. 그 결과 이동기 시스템이 수신된 신호의 SNR이 매우 낮은 환경하에서 정합필터만을 사용하는 동기 시스템보다 훨씬 고속으로 수신단의 PN 코드를 동기화 시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

Real-Time Hardware Simulator for Grid-Tied PMSG Wind Power System

  • This paper describes a real-time hardware simulator for a grid-tied Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) wind power system, which consists of an anemometer, a data logger, a motor-generator set with vector drive, and a back-to-back power converter with a digital signal processor (DSP) controller. The anemometer measures real wind speed, and the data is sent to the data logger to calculate the turbine torque. The calculated torque is sent to the vector drive for the induction motor after it is scaled down to the rated simulator power. The motor generates the mechanical power for the PMSG, and the generated electrical power is connected to the grid through a back-to-back converter. The generator-side converter in a back-to-back converter operates in current control mode to track the maximum power point at the given wind speed. The grid-side converter operates to control the direct current link voltage and to correct the power factor. The developed simulator can be used to analyze various mechanical and electrical characteristics of a grid-tied PMSG wind power system. It can also be utilized to educate students or engineers on the operation of grid-tied PMSG wind power system.

기어와 유연축을 갖는 구동계로 구동되는 OTM 안테나 시선의 안정화 제어 (LOS(line-of-sight) Stabilization Control of OTM(on-the-move) Antenna Driven by Geared Flexible Transmission Mechanism)

  • In this study, an OTM(on-the-move) antenna which is mounted on ground vehicles and is used for mobile communication between vehicle and satellite while moving was addressed. Since LOS(line-of-sight) of antenna should direct satellite consistently while vehicle moving to guarantee high satellite communication quality, active antenna LOS stabilization is a core technology for OTM antenna. Stabilization of a satellite tracking antenna which consists of 2-DOF gimbals, an elevation gimbal over an azimuth gimbal, was considered in this study. In consideration of driving mechanism which consists of gear train and flexible driving shafts, a two-mass-system dynamic model coupled with vehicle motion was presented. An internal PI-control loop + outer PI-control loop structure has been suggested in order to damp the torsional vibration and stabilize control system. The classical pole-placement method was applied to design control gains. In addition, a vehicle motion compensation control beside of the feedback control loop has been suggested to improve LOS stabilization performances. The feasibility of the proposed control design was verified along with some experimental results.

용접 형상 측정용 시각 센서 모듈 개발 (Development of Vision Sensor Module for the Measurement of Welding Profile)

  • The essential tasks to operate the welding robot are the acquisition of the position and/or shape of the parent metal. For the seam tracking or the robot automation, many kinds of contact and non-contact sensors are used. Recently, the vision sensor is most popular. In this paper, the development of the system which measures the profile of the welding part is described. The total system will be assembled into a compact module which can be attached to the head of welding robot system. This system uses the line-type structured laser diode and the vision sensor It implemented Direct Linear Transformation (DLT) for the camera calibration as well as radial distortion correction. The three dimensional shape of the parent metal is obtained after simple linear transformation and therefore, the system operates in real time. Some experiments are carried out to evaluate the performance of the developed system.

  • Nowadays, GIS, as multi-discipline information system, is closely linked with GPS application in conjunction with GIS-T or Logistics GIS. With this R&D trend. CPS/GIS application system for AVL is newly developed in this study. This AVL is designed and implemented by using pure Java computing technology towards com ing Car-equipped wireless Internet PC age, and main features of Java are included at this system: Platform independence, Multi-thread processing, and Object-oriented paradigm. While, because core modules of this AVL are based on GIS spatial engine, unlike other commercial AVLs, large spatial database problem handling digital image/spatial information and attribute information and direct access problem of GIS data is easily dealt with. this system can directly access external database by using JDBC: MS Access for desktop version and Oracle for W/S version. Finally, it is thought that Java-based AVL, one of CPS/CIS applications, can be easily extended into other prospective GIS applications: Land surveyor supporting system, Flight tracking system, 3D facility management system with CPS, and so forth.

6DOF Simulation of a Floating Structure Model Using a Single Video

  • This paper purposes on stimulating the dynamic behavior of a floating structure model with the image processing and the close-range photogrammetry, instead of the contact sensors. Previously, the movement of structures was presented by the exterior orientation estimation from a single camera following the space resection. The inverse resection yields to 6 orientation parameters of the floating structure, with respect to the camera coordinates system. The single camera solution of interest in applications is characterized by the restriction in terms of costs, unfavorable observation conditions, or synchronization demands when using multiple cameras. This paper discusses the theoretical determinations of camera exterior orientation by using the least squares adjustment, applied of the values from the DLT (Direct Linear Transformation) and the photogrammetric resection. This proposed method is applied to monitor motions of a floating model. The results of 6DOF (Six Degrees of Freedom) from the inverse resection were signified that applying appropriate initial values from DLT in the least square adjustment is effective in obtaining precise exterior orientation parameters. Therefore, the proposed method can be concluded as an efficient solution to simulate movements of the floating structure.

미지의 입력을 갖는 비선형 시스템의 관측기 (Observers for Nonlinear Systems with Unknown Inputs)

  • We consider the problem of constructing observers for nonlinear systems with unknown inputs. It is shown that under some conditions, there exists an observer estimating the states of nonlinear systems with unknown inputs. Nonlinear observer design method using observer error linearization and the design technique of unknown input observer(UIO) for linear systems are used to derive conditions. Some illustrative examples are included. In this paper, a direct controller for nonlinear plants using a neural network is presented. The controller is composed of an approximate controller and a neural network auxiliary controller.The approximate controller gives the rough control and the neural network controller gives the complementary signal to further reduce the output tracking error. This method does not put too much restriction on the type of nonlinear plant to be controlled. In this method, a RBF neural network is trained and the system has a stable performance for the inputs it has been trained for. Simulation results show that it is very effective and can realize a satisfactory control of the nonlinear system
