직접 토크제어에 의한 유도전동기 토크맥동 저감 시스템 (A Torque Ripple Reduction System of Induction Motor with Direct Torque Control)

  • Direct torque control(DTC) is known to produce quick response in ac drives. Some drawbacks of the classical DTC are the relatively large torque ripple in a low speed range and notable current pulsation during steady state. They are reflected speed response and increased acoustical noise. In this paper, The DTC quick response are preserved at transient state, while better qualify steady state performance is produced by Space Vector Modulation(SVM). It is able to reduce the acoustical noise, torque ripple and current pulsation during steady state. The system presented are closed loop stator flux and torque observer for wide speed range that inputs are currents and voltages sensing of motor terminal. Simulation results for the 2.2kw general purposed induction motor are presented and discussed.

Synthesization of WC/Co Composite Powders Doped V and Cr by Mechanochemical Method

  • Nano-sized WC particles in WC/Co composite powders were synthesized by mechanochemical method. The raw powders$(WO_3,\;Co_3O_4,\;VC,\;Cr_3C_2$ and graphite) were mixed by planetary milling for 30 hours. The compositions were WC-10 and -20 wt% Co added VC and $Cr_3C_2$. The direct reduction and carburization of the mixed powders were carried at $900\;^{\circ}C$ for 1 to 3 hours under flowing Ar gas. The mean size of WC particles in WC/Co composite powders was about 16 nm. The resultant powders were compacted and sintered at $1300{\sim}1360\;^{\circ}C$ for 0.5 hour. After sintering the mean size of WC particles was about 50 nm.

  • New methods for the direct reduction of carboxylic acids to aldehydes through the treatments of B-acyloxy-9-borabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane (acyloxy-9-BBN) with tert-butyllithium and 9-borabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane or with lithium 9-boratabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane (Li 9-BBNH) are described. Both these systems provide the corresponding aldehydes from various carboxylic acids in high yields. A mechanism for the recuction through stepwise treatment of acyloxy-9-BBN with tert-butylithium and 9-BBN, which seems to involve the hydride migration through 9-BBN, is proposed and discussed in connection with the reduction through treatment of acyloxy-9-BBN with Li 9-BBNH.

Design of Direct-Current Fuzzy Controller for Mitigating Commutation Failure in HVDC System

  • Commutation failures can deteriorate the availability of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) links and may lead to outage of the HVDC system. Most commutation failures are caused by voltage reduction due to ac system faults on inverter side. The commutation failure process can be divided into two stages. The first stage, from the occurrence to the clearing of faults, is called 'Deterioration Stage'. The second stage, from the faults clearing to restoring the power system stability, is called 'Recovery Stage'. Based on the analysis of the commutation failure process, this paper proposes a direct-current fuzzy controller including prevention and recovery controller. The prevention controller reduces the direct current to prevent Commutation failures in the 'Deterioration Stage' according to the variation of ac voltage. The recovery controller magnifies the direct current to speed up the recovery of power system in the 'Recovery Stage', based on the recovery of direct voltage. The validity of this proposed fuzzy controller is further proved by simulation with CIGRE HVDC benchmark model in PSCAD/EMTDC. The results show the commutation failures can be mitigated by the proposed direct-current fuzzy controller.

에너지 절감형 염색기용 직접냉각수세장치에 대한 연구 (A Study on Direct Cooling and Washing Machine for Energy Saving-Type Dyeing Machine)

  • 최근 국내 섬유산업의 생산량이 증가함에 따라 섬유산업에서 에너지 소비는 계속 증가되고 있는 실정이다. 기존의 염색기는 고온 고압의 특성을 가지고 있기 때문에 염색 후 냉각을 하기 위하여 열교환기를 통한 간접냉각방식을 채택하고 있다. 이러한 간접냉각방식은 물의 소모량이 많으며 작업 시간 또한 오래 걸리는 문제점이 있고 냉각시 염액의 고착으로 인해 냉각 후 환원세정 및 수세를 수차례 하므로 에너지가 많이 소비된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 고온 고압 액류 염색기의 열교환기에 의한 간접냉각방식을 염색기내에 냉수를 직접 공급하는 직접냉각방식으로 대체하기 위한 장치를 개발하여 기존의 염색기에 적용하여 냉각과 동시에 환원세정공정을 생략하고 수세공정을 단축시키면서 전공정을 마무리함으로써 전체 작업공정을 줄이고 에너지 소비를 절감하는 등의 생산성을 획기적으로 향상시킬 수 있는 직접냉각수세장치를 제안하며, 시제작품을 제작하고, 실제 염색기에 적용하여 기존의 간접 냉각 방식의 염색기와 성능, 자원 및 에너지 절감율을 비교하였다. 또한 시제작품을 적용한 염색기의 염색성 실험을 하였다.

직접 접촉식 막 증발공정에서 무기 막오염 특성 분석 및 저감방법 (Inorgainc fouling and it fouling reduction in direct contact membrane distillation process)

  • This study was aimed to examine inorganic fouling and fouling reduction method in direct contact membrane distillation(DCMD) process. Synthetic seawater of NaCl solution with CaCO3 and CaSO4 was used for this purpose. It was found in this study that both CaCO3 and CaSO4 precipitates formed at the membrane surface. More fouling was observed with CaSO4(anhydrite) and CaSO4·0.5H2O(bassanite) than CaSO4·2H2O(gypsum). CaCO3 and gypsum were detected at the membrane surface when concentrates of SWRO(seawater reverse osmosis) were treated by the DCMD process, while gypsum was found with MED(multi effect distillation) concentrates. Air backwash(inside to out) was found more effective in fouling reduction than air scouring.

지능형 TV의 음성인식을 위한 참조 잡음 기반 음성개선 (Reference Channel Input-Based Speech Enhancement for Noise-Robust Recognition in Intelligent TV Applications)

  • 본 논문에서는 지능형 TV의 음성인터페이스를 위한 잡음제거 시스템에 대해서 제안한다. 음성인식 성능 저하에 매우 나쁜 영향을 주는 TV 소리를 제거하기 위해서 TV 소리 자체를 참조 잡음으로 하는 잡음제거 알고리즘이 구현된다. 제안된 알고리즘에서 TV 스피커와 다채널 장비간의 전달함수를 추정한다. 그 후, 위너 필터를 동작시키기 위해서 잡음의 전력 스펙트럼이 추정된다. 추가적으로 후처리 과정이 적용되어 잔존 잡음을 제거한다. 실험의 의해서 제안된 알고리즘이 5 dB 입력 SNR에서 88 %의 음성인식률을 나타내었다.

  • 0.1M tetraethylammoniumperchlorate (TEAP)를 지지전해질로 한 acetonitrile속에서 direct current (DC), differential pulse (DP) polarography 및 cyclo voltammetry (CV) 방법에 의한 Sumithion의 전기화학적 환원반응은 -1.0~-2.50volt vs. Ag-AgCl 범위에서, 제1단계로 P-Oph 결합의 분열에 의하여 dimethylthiophosphonyl radical과 p-nitro-m-cresol이 생성되는 1전자 유사가역반응이 일어나고, 제2단계는 전형적인 1전자 비가역 반응으로 dimethylthiophosphonyl radical이 dimethylthiophosphonate가 되며, 제3단계 반응은 2.7volt vs. Ag-AgCl의 높은 음전위에서 p-nitro-m-cresol은 4전자 비가역반응에 의한 nitro group의 환원으로 p-hydroxy-amino-m-cresol이 생성되는 총 3단계의 비가역적인 electron-transfer chemical reaction (EC) 메카니즘으로 전극반응이 진행됨을 알았다.

  • In this paper, a study on the noise reduction in a mobile fuel cell system is presented. Among various fuel cell systems around 20W capacities designed for mobile electronic devices, the active direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) systems have been recently developed. In such systems, the primary noise source is the air pump which provides sufficient air flow ($5{\sim}6$ liter/min) for electrochemical reaction with methanol fuel while the noise contributions from other auxiliary parts are relatively small. Especially, the discrete noise tones generated by the air pump are dominant and those frequency peaks related to the rotor harmonics are needed to be suppressed by a silencer. Therefore. the Herschel/Quinke (HQ) tubes, which use the out-of-phase cancellation of acoustic waves propagating through direct and indirect pathways, are applied to the inlet of the air pump. Performance of noise reduction with HQ silencer is analytically estimated by calculating the transmission. The length and number of thin HQ tubes are optimized to decrease the radiated noise. As a result, the sound pressure level could be successfully reduced by about 10 dB after applying three serially connected HQ tubes.

  • Acetonitrile 용액중에서 3-phenyl-4-nitrosydnone의 전기화학전 환원을 direct current, differential pulse polarography, cyclic voltammetry 그리고 controlled potential coulometry 방법으로 연구하였다. Phenyl-N 단일 결합의 분리 이전에 nitro 기능기의 비가역적 전자 전달-화학반응(EC)기구의 진행으로 다전자 이동에 의한 amino(또한 hydroxylamino)기를 형성하고, 높은 음 전위 영역에서 2,3 비가역성 환원파의 일전자전달-화학반응에 의한 phenyl hydrazine을 생성하였다. 음극 반파 전위들은 cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide의 억제 효과에 의해 음의 값으로 이동하였고 한편, sodium lauryl sulfate micelle은 높은 음전위 영역에서 제 2,3 환원파의 가역성산화 peaks를 보였다.
