When an earthquake occurs, the severity of damage is determined by natural factors such as the magnitude of the earthquake, the epicenter distance, soil properties, and type of the structures in the affected area, as well as the socio-economic factors such as the population, disaster prevention measures, and economic power of the community. This study evaluated the direct economic loss due to building damage and the community's recovery ability. Building damage was estimated using fragility functions due to the design earthquake by the seismic design code. The usage of the building was determined from the information in the building registrar. Direct economic loss was evaluated using the standard unit price and estimated building damage. The standard unit price was obtained from the Korean Real Estate Board. The community's recovery capacity was calculated using nine indicators selected from regional statistical data. After appropriate normalization and factor analysis, the recovery ability score was calculated through relative evaluation with neighboring cities.

This study examines the structured model of building fashion customer loyalty by service recovery and scrutinizes the effect of explanations on perceived justice and the proposed model. The data of a total of 300 women were collected through an online survey. Employing structural equation modeling, this study demonstrated that both distributive and interactional justice had a positive impact on customers' satisfaction with service encounter that subsequently led to overall satisfaction with the brand. Overall satisfaction influenced the attitudinal loyalty of customers that induced their behavioral loyalty. To examine the effect of explanations on perceived justice and the process of building fashion customer loyalty by service recovery, t-test and multi-group SEM were employed. The result displayed that the group who received explanations after service failure perceived higher level of justice than the one who did not. There was a significant difference between two groups on the direct path from interactional justice to overall satisfaction with the brand. This study clarifies how perceived justice influences fashion customer loyalty mediating by satisfaction in and confirms the critical role of explanations in service recovery context. By implying the understanding of the important role of explanations in service recovery context, this study provides fashion marketers with insight for delivering more successful service recovery strategies that enhance customer loyalty.

Active and therapeutic sport recovery is becoming a popular and important component in approving performance for pro and recreational athletes alike. It is also helping in the realm of injury prevention. In the search of finding modalities that are widely effective, natural, and safe, acupuncture is a viable and cost-effective treatment for helping athletes achieve this goal. More direct related research is needed, but testimonials from pro athletes and the body of research that currently exists provides powerful evidence on acupunctures ability to help with enhancing recovery. Specializing in acupuncture and exercise science, Chris integrates acupuncture into musculoskeletal rehabilitation therapy or fitness training for pain modulation, speedy recovery, and enhanced performance. Clients can choose to focus on one-on-one corrective exercise therapy, manual and massage therapy, or acupuncture. However, for best results, Chris recommends all three. Other modalities that he uses in therapy are acu-taping, herbal therapy, nutrition supplementation, cupping, guasha, and stretching techniques. The corrective exercise component is one-on-one body balancing management, focusing on strength and conditioning, post physical rehab - exercise therapy, integrative sport specific exercise, weight loss, core strengthening, dynamic lumbar stabilization, active recovery techniques, and myo-fascial release techniques. The acupuncture component focuses on sport injuries, myofascial pain, peripheral neuropathy, arthritis, facial rejuvenation, stress, smoking cessation, addiction detoxification program, weight management, sport recovery and performance.

In this paper, based on the constrained optimizatin technique and direct recovery method, we proesent a shape form shading (SFS) algorithm to recover a 3-D shape form an image. More specifically, we first employ the membrane model for a smoothness constraint to revoer a 3-D shape coarsely. We then compute the surface height directly to reduce the shape distortion due to a regularization term. In our approach, we can obtain a stable and accurate solution by the application of these two steps. Several simulation results on various images are provided and discussed in this paper and they show that the proposed algorithm extracts the 3-D information accurately and efficiently.

In case of failure in the IP network services should be provided via a backup path which fully meets QoS requirements. In this regard, we in this paper suggest simple-PFC(5-PFC) to restore single link failure, iterative-PFC(i-PFC) for multiple link failures, and fault_node Avoidance-PFC(a-PFC) for failures of nodes such as routers. Taking the minimum cost rerouting problem into account, we compare and analyze performance of those three mechanisms carrying out Direct_destination Rerouting(DR).

Servicizing is defined 'not as to sell the products but as to sell the functions'. This study was done on the methods for revitalization as the object items of navigation & antenna among car parts. The direct door-to-door survey was done for 101 enterprises (direct-management stores) and percentage & t-test were done for statistics. The results can be summarized like followings. First, PR on servicizing is required. Second the optimized methods can be obtained by incorporating reuse & recycling distribution systems of servicizing with the existing recovery system Reuse distribution system can be constructed rationally because inventory control is being done correct1y with the periodic recovery. Finally, as for the analysis on the relative importance of main factors of servicizing, it shows that supports & providing the concrete frame of the government & local autonomous body are important.

The cultured mycelia of Ganoderma lucidum were extracted and the extract was separated into six fractions by organic solvent fractionation. The antihepatotoxic activity of all the fractions was evaluated by measuring activities of glutamic pyruvic transaminase (GPT) and glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (GOT). Among the fractions tested, the high-polarity fractions such as aqueous and n-butanol fractions significantly reduced activities of GPT and GOT in CCl4- and galactosamine-intoxicated rat primary hepatocytes. When intracellular synthetic activities were measured by pulsing the rate primary cultured hepatocytes with [3H]-uridine and [3H]-leucine, activities of DNA, RNA and protein. When direct toxicities of the fractions were measured against human hepatoma(SK-Hep-1), the non-polarity fractions such as n-butanol and ethyl acetate fractions showed potent direct cytotoxicities even at the concentration of 1 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml. These data showed that Ganoderma lucidum has hepatoprotective and hepatotoxic recovery principles in its mycelia.

Two different commercial aluminium powder grades have been densified by direct hot extrusion. The extrusion temperature was $425^{\circ}C$, with an extrusion ratio of 1:16. Prior to extrusion, some green compacts were pre-sintered ($500^{\circ}C$). The evolution of the extrusion load during the process and the hardness of the final products have been investigated. Additionally, microstructural characterization by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Electron Backscattered Diffraction (EBSD) was carried out. The obtained results evidence grain refinement. In this paper, we propose an effective fragile image watermarking scheme for tampering detection and content recovery. Cover image is divided into a series of non-overlapping blocks and a block mapping relationship is constructed by the secret key. Several DCT coefficients with direct current and lower frequencies of the MSBs for each block are used to generate the reference bits, and different coefficients are assigned with different bit numbers for representation according to their importance. To enhance recovery performance, authentication bits are generated by the MSBs and the reference bits, respectively. After LSB substitution hiding, the embedded watermark bits in each block consist of the information of itself and its mapping blocks. On the receiver side, all blocks with tampered MSBs can be detected and recovered using the valid extracted reference bits. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
