웹툰의 아카이빙 방안 연구 (A Study on the Archiving of Webtoon)

  • The environment of using digital devices has been developed day by day, as mobile communication network has been fast and smart phone and tablet PC have been spread. When the environment changing, the contents consumers prefer have been changing too. The Webtoon became the representative contents of 'Snack culture'. The webtoon has led the growth of cartoon market for years recently instead of the slow comics growth. And it places its elf as contents on a firm basis, as it has been adapted to another genre such as Pay, Flm, TV Drama. Now it's expected to be an extgeneration contents that will lead Han-ryu(Korean wave). Though the webtoon has important and strong presence, there is no digital archive for collecting and preserving the webtoon, Korean Cartoon Contents Agency started making 'webtoon archive', but the groundwork and the study on the webtoon that represents digital culture contents are not enough a lot. In this study, the cases on digital archiving of culture contents in Korea are researched, and the direction on webtoon archiving that has just started is also discussed. The Archiving of webtoon that can't be seperated from digital contents is connected with archiving of digital culture contents in direction where they should be headed to.

디지털 정보자원을 위한 보존 메타데이터 요소 설정 연구 (A Study on Preservation Metadata Elements for Digital Information Resources)

  • 디지털 정보자원은 장기적 보존 및 다음 세대로의 접근을 보장하기 위한 상세한 베타데이터를 필요로 한다. 본 연구는 먼저 디지털 정보자원의 특성과 디지털 보존의 개념, 디지털 정보자원의 장기 보존과 접근을 위한 메타데이터의 필요성을 조명하였다. 디지털 정보자원을 위한 상호운용적인 보존 베타데이터 개발에 근거가 되고 있는 OAIS 참조 모형을 살펴보았다. 이어 실제 OAIS 참조 모형을 적용한 CEDARS, NLA, NEDLIB, OCLC/RLG 디지털 정보자원의 보존 메타데이터를 대상으로 하여 그 개발 과정, 목적 및 메타데이터 요소 세트를 각각 구체적으로 비교 분석하였다. 본 분석 결과를 기초로 하여, 향후 우리나라의 디지털정보자원의 장기 보존과 접근을 위한 상호운용성을 갖춘 보존 메타데이터의 기본적인 요소 세트 설정 방안을 제시하였다.

협력 기반 과학기술 디지털도서관 구축에 관한 연구 (Building a Collaborative Sci-Tech Digital Library)

  • 본 연구는 한국과 일본의 대표적인 과학기술정보센터인 KISTI와 JST의 과학기술정보를 공유 활용할 수 있도록 디지털도서관모형을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 디지털도서관의 개념, 구성 요소를 포함한 프레임웍과 기술 요소를 살펴보았으며, 협력 기반 디지털도서관의 사례를 조사 분석하여 최근 디지털도서관 협력의 특징을 고찰하였다. 제안된 디지털도서관 모형은 단계적으로 협력의 범위를 확장하는 모형으로, 대상 자원의 협력 및 공유 가능성에 따라 데이터의 직접 교환과 분산검색을 병행하며 메타데이터로부터 원문으로 자연스럽게 연결하는 방안이 포함되어 있다. 제안된 모형은 다른 분야나 타 기관과의 협력에서도 적용 가능할 것이다.

마르코스 노박(Marcos Novak)의 트렌스 건축(Trans Architecture) 개념에 관한 연구 (A Study on the concept of 'Trans Architecture' in Marcos Novak)

  • The present study examined Marcos Novak, a digital architect who has researched digital architecture and produced related works since the early 1990s. Starting from digital ideas originating from science and mathematics, he pursued 'trans architecture' based on the concept of 'architecture beyond the boundary of architecture' and 'architecture as invisible foundation.' His concept of 'trans architecture' is considered an important viewpoint in expressing the architecture of a diversified and hybridized age like today. The objective of this study was to understand the concepts of Allobio and Eversion, which are important digital terms forming the background of Novak's trans architecture, and to analyze architecture philosophy and architecture design concepts observed in his works through Novak's digital terminology centering on the concept of trans architecture pursued by him. Through this, we purposed to analyze the concept of architectural space, methods of form creation and the characteristics of trans architecture space, which were unique to Novak, the leader of digital architecture, and ultimately to provide basic materials on Novak. Novak's trans architecture represents digital architecture in the contemporary diversified and hybridized age, and his works involve various different digital elements and ideas, scientific paradigms, mathematic algorithms, 4 dimensional geometry, etc. In this sense, he is regarded as a prominent leading advocate of digital architecture.

디지털 공간에서 나타나는 사용자 경험의 확장을 위한 적용 요소에 관한 연구 (A Study on Applied Elements fo the Extension of User Experience in Digital Space)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze about the extension of user experience in the digital space. Through the digital technology and virtual space, the city's new environment is being changed. it makes people activate their aesthetic experience. Simultaneously, it elevates satisfaction levels regarding people's aesthetic experience. Research methods and settings of the range to study on the Extension of User Experience are as follows: First, establish digital space's characteristics comparing digital space at the structural change-points in modern society. Second, experience's approch way through the digital media in the contemporary space. And understand the concept about a variety of User Experience. Third. to classify the elements of access control for the user experience. Experience is being expanded through the generation process. Fourth, investigate analysis of the case studies, focused on the architecture and space design_Media installations that appear in the city park, the city's landmark buildings facade, the building facade by offering commercially applied for brand marketing_ announced through the media recently. Also, it is to look at the physical elements through digital media and to analyze the applicability of the public space. Therefore, the new approach to digital implementation shall be determined by looking in the direction of the user approaches.

차세대 스마트도시 시설물의 플랫폼 정의와 디지털 체인 (Next Generation Smart-City Facility Platform and Digital Chain)

  • With increasing interest and research on smart cities, there is also an increasing number of studies on urban facilities that can be built within smart cities. According to these studies, smart cities' urban facilities are likely to become high value-added industries. However, the concept of smart city is not clear because it involves various fields. Therefore, in this study, the definition of Next-Generation(N.G) Smart City Facilities with Digital Twin and Digital Chain is carried out through a multidisciplinary approach. Based on this, Next-Generation Smart City Facilities will be divided into High Value-Added Products and Big Data Platforms. Subsequently, the definition of the Digital Chain containing the data flow of the entire process built through the construction of the Digital Twin proceeds. The definitions derived are applied to the Next-Generation Noise Barrier Tunnel to ensure that data is exchanged at the Digital Twin stage, and to review the proposed configuration of the Digital Chain and Data Flow in this study. The platform definition and Digital Chain of Next-Generation Smart City Facilities proposed in this study suggest that it can affect not only the aspects of data management that are currently in the spotlight, but also the manufacturing industry as a whole.

  • 본 논문은 클라우딩 컴퓨팅 환경에서 디지털 콘텐츠 관리 기술을 제안한다. 네트워크를 활용한 컴퓨팅 서비스는 4차 산업혁명 시대에 빠질 수 없는 기본 인프라 서비스이다. 스마트폰을 활용한 금융 서비스, 디지털 콘텐츠 서비스, 산업 및 홈 네트워크 서비스는 국부적인 영역의 서비스에서 전체 서비스가 가능한 클라우드 서비스 환경으로 변화하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에 적합한 디지털 콘텐츠 서비스가 안전하게 지원되도록 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안 시스템은 사용자의 시스템 접근의 편의성과 안전성을 제공하고, 디지털 콘텐츠 저작자의 저작권을 보호하며, 안전한 디지털 콘텐츠 유통 및 관리 시스템을 제공한다. 본 연구의 목적은 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에 적합한 디지털 콘텐츠 유통구조를 제공하여 디지털 콘텐츠 시장을 안정화시키고 활성화하는데 있다.

The Effectiveness of Cognitive Scaffolding in an Elementary Mathematics Digital Textbook

  • The purpose of this study is to find a way to improve digital textbooks for self-regulated learning by applying cognitive scaffolding designs to an elementary math digital textbook and examining the effectiveness of the system. Hence this study was conducted in two steps. First, a framework for scaffolding design was devised by examining the problems and difficulties students encounter when using a mathematics digital textbook. Second, after the digital textbook was revised by applying the scaffolding design frameworks, the effectiveness of the scaffolding framework was examined by comparing students' achievement levels in an experimental group and that of students in a control group. Seventy fifth-graders participated in this study. Students were divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The students in the experimental group studied with the revised version of the digital textbook and the students in the control group studied with the original version of the digital textbook. The students received a pretest before the experiment. After the experiment, they took an achievement test and completed a usability questionnaire. The data were analyzed by ANCOVA with the SPSS Windows version. The results revealed that the students who used the revised program (to which design strategies for scaffolding were applied) showed higher levels of achievement than those who used the original version. In addition, students in the experimental group generally showed higher scores on the usability survey, which consisted of four sub-categories such as 'effectiveness', 'efficiency', 'satisfaction', and 'learnability'. There was a statistically significant effect on 'efficiency'. These results implied that scaffolding strategies were effective for mathematics learning through the use of an elementary digital textbook.

A Case Study of Digital Transformation: Focusing on the Financial Sector in South Korea and Overseas

  • This study investigates the adoption and application of digital transformation in the financial sector and analyzes the process and outcomes of digitization and digitalization in the field of the finance industry of South Korea and overseas, in order to seek both managerial and strategic implications for successful implementation of digital transformation in the future. The findings show that, for successful digital transformation, it is necessary to maximize active and systematic use of advanced online and digital technologies that form the basis of business and create an open, horizontal organizational culture and communication system to equally share and distribute advanced technologies and competencies through the entire organization. Furthermore, this study also discovers the legitimacy to concentrate the organizational competencies and know-how in providing technical training for members, expanding customer experience, and improving customer satisfaction services to contribute to improving the quality of life for members of the organization and creating and improving social and public infrastructures, instead of using digital transformation only to improve productivity of organizations or firms. As such, it is necessary to concentrate corporate competencies in establishing and supplying digital transformation that is not just human-centered but also has productivity, innovativeness, and reliability at the same time.

디지털 패션의 매체 미학적 관점에 관한 연구 ((A) study on digital fashion from the aesthetic perspective of media)

  • When digital media and images are combined, their significant sociocultural impacts can be exercised. Therefore, this study analyzes digital images shown in such trends of digital media compared to the digital fashion from an aesthetic perspective. Research and empirical studies are focused upon to analyze the aesthetic characteristics of digital fashion. Digital Fashion comprehensively refers to fashion design using computers and software, and is considered as "Fashion Design utilizing Digital Technologies" including computer software and hardware perspectives, so that it may be renamed "Digital Fashion." The esthetic characteristics shown in the Digital Fashion defined above are analyzed according to how media philosophers conceptualize the digital image. First, from the perspective of creation, Digital Fashion Images are technical images produced by computers. Uncanny characteristics expressed through virtual images look more realistic than the actual ones used in experimental works of fashion designers. Such virtuality dynamically expresses various colors and fabric patterns through lights using digital technologies that do not yet exist in cloth form, rather in a non-material form of dynamic virtual imagery. Digital fashion images on monitors express digital fashion designs by shaping virtual images through 3D printing. Second, Digital Fashion Images from the perspective of acceptance are created through deconstruction, while fashion has only been previous viewed visually, Digital Fashion delivers immersions of visual touches as if directly experienced for accepters. Digital Fashion will continuously develop and become more influential as it converges with digital media.
