  • In this paper, it is implemented that Sub- MRA PWM techinque which is applied to MRA PWM technique using the Digital Signal Processor. Unstable element of analog is reduced for Sub - MRA PWM technique by digital signal pressing. And harmonic is analized by simulation to verify that. It is afford the process induction motor control with real time by minimizing the delay time of digital system. Time delay which is a defect of digital control can by minimized using fast caculation. Therefore, real time control is implemented in the induction motor

  • The objective of this paper is to show how digital signal processing experiment(DSPE) was designed and to present its experimental results in orbit and on the ground. The multi-missional and flexible DSPE was designed in a reliable manner. Among several experiments executed in orbit and on the ground, a high-speed(19.2kbps) software modulator experiment was discussed in this paper. A 32bit floating-type TMS320C30, which was developed for commercial purposes, was used on LEO micro-satellites, KITSAT-1 and KITSAT-2. This digital signal processor(DSP) can be applied to the various payloads of the next generation satellites.

  • In this paper we propose three existing reflection removal algorithms and one proposed algorithm to estimate accurate targets in near field using IR-UWB (Impulse-Radio Ultra Wideband) radar. The received signal includes unnecessary reflected wave signals to the target signal. A reflective cancellation algorithm was used to remove unnecessary signals and estimate only the correct target signal. The location of the targets is estimated in real time with one transmitting antenna and one receiving antenna. In order to overcome the disadvantages of the existing three reflection removal algorithms, we propose a new reflection removal algorithm and estimate the most accurate target. Also we used DSP(Digital Signal Processor) to install the external mounting of vehicles. This paper will contribute to the study of the future reflections.

A study on digital sound reception systems for ships (선박용 디지털 음향수신장치 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose a sound reception system against surrounding noise for ships based on digital signal processing technologies. In order to suppress unwanted surrounding noises, a digital band-pass filter is designed, which the pass-band of the filter is between 70Hz to 820Hz. Also, we develope a sound direction indicating algorithm with 4 microphones. After filtering the audio signals from 4 microphones, the developed sound direction indicating algorithm can indicate 8 directions. In addition, we implement prototype board for the sound reception using a digital signal processor chip and audio codecs, and verify the proposed algorithm.

  • In this paper, a digital current mode control is designed for the power converter applications. The designed digital current mode controller is derived analytically from the continuous time small signal model of the power converters. Due to the small signal model based derivations of the control law, the designed control method can be applicable to boost, buck, and buck-boost converters. It is also proven that the controlled power converter employing the designed digital current mode controller is always stable regardless of an operating conditions. In order to show the usefulness of a designed controller, experiments are carried out using a 16bit DSP micro-processor, TMS320LF2406A.

  • Brushless servomotor systems offer a great advantae in unmanned factories where a great number of servomotors are employed, because of its easy maintenance charateristics and controllability. This paper propose a sinusoidal type brushless DC motor speed servo system which has high efficiency and usability in industrial field as described above. And this servo system is realized by a new Auto-Tuning PI control algorithm and verified it's practical potential of implementation by self-designed driver system. In particular, DSP(digital signal processor) is adopted in this study as controller and sensor signal processor owing to their fast computational capability and suitable architecture.

  • This paper discusses sliding made control of robot manipurators assuming that nonlinear terms, which are inertia term, Coriolis force term and centrifugal taffn, are external disturbances. We obtained the unknown parameter of its linear terms by Signal Compression Method. We propose a new control input algorithm to decrease chattering in the application of sliding mode control of manipulator whose nonlinear components are regarded as disturbances. In this experiments, we used DSP(Digital Signal Processor) controller to suppress chattering by obtaining a quick switching speed.

  • Nowadays ARM7 core is used in many fields such as PDA systems because of the low power and low cost. It is a general-purpose processor, designed for both efficient digital signal processing and controller operations. But the advent of the wireless communication creates a need for high computational performance for signal processing. And then This paper has been designed a floating-point multiplier compatible to IEEE-754 single precision format for ARMTTDMI performance improvement.
