  • This study is made to provide with a method for correcting the geometric distortion of the digital radiography image by analytical approach based upon the inverse square law and Beer's law. This study is aimed to find out and improve a mathematic model of nonlinear type. Variations in the alignment of the X-ray source, the object, and imaging plate affect digital radiography images. A model which is expressed in parameter values; e.g, angle, position, absorption coefficient, length, width and pixel account of radiography source, is developed so as to match the sample image. For the best correction of the digital image that is the most similar to the model image, a correction technique based upon tangent is developed; then applied to the digital radiography images of steel tubes. As a result, the image correction is confirmed to be made successfully.

  • Change detection, image differencing technique, is the most widely used in a variety of image environments. The digital terrain model and digital images have the same data structure. This study applied digital terrain model and change detection technique for inspecting the deflection of the structure. Authors make digital terrain model from triangular irregular network(TIN) by leveling data and suggest to possibility recognize modification part and volumes by digital terrain model and change detection technique. Authors can reduce testing materials and man power, and displayed his modification part.

  • With the prolific growth of cable, satellite digital broadcasting and internet related industry, new digital contents are being demanded. Today, more end-users seek participations in the media through interactivity. Visual tracking technology, based on image processing, is mainly used in fields of human face tracking, security inspection, and traffic monitoring applications. In this research, we describe the interactive modules such as information display, e1-commerce and other services along with on-screen visuals on the streaming media using object visual tracking technology. • This study has attempted to empirically analyze the mediating effects of small and medium venture firms' manufacturing capability and testing and inspection capability on the relation between their external information network heterogeneity and technology commercialization capability with a view to diversifying the research stream on the influential factors to small and medium firms' technology commercialization capability. By performing the ordinary least squares regression analysis, the Sobel test, and the Baron and Kenny test based on the 683 data of South Korean small and medium venture firms with the IBM SPSS version 23, this study provides the three empirical findings to be useful for future studies on the roles of small and medium venture firms' the manufacturing capability and testing and inspection capability. First, small and medium venture firms' manufacturing capability partially mediates the positive effect of their external information network heterogeneity on their technology commercialization capability. Second, their testing and inspection capability partially mediates this positive effect. Third, their manufacturing capability and testing and inspection capability jointly and partially mediates this positive effect.

  • Assuring that the integrity of digital contents is reliably maintained is an important component of long-term digital preservation. The purpose of this study was to examine and analysis the best practices of digital preservation policy and provide the basis theory for establishing a preservation policy for maintaining the integrity of digital contents. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, we examined the digital archiving practices for maintaining the integrity of digital contents. Especially, we focused on the storage media and file formats, the media and format conversion, disaster prevention and recovery, management and handling, inspection and monitoring, and security policies.

  • Purpose: To solve urban problems, empirical research is being actively conducted to implement a smart city based on various ICT technologies, and digital twin technology is needed to effectively implement a smart city. A digital twin is essential for the realization of a smart city. A digital twin is a virtual environment that intuitively visualizes multidimensional data in the real world based on 3D. Digital twin is implemented on the premise of the convergence of GIS and BIM, and in particular, a lot of time is invested in data pre-processing and labeling in the data construction process. In digital twin, data quality is prioritized for consistency with reality, but there is a limit to data inspection with the naked eye. Therefore, in order to improve the required time and quality of digital twin construction, it was attempted to detect a building using Mask R-CNN, a deep learning-based masking algorithm for aerial images. If the results of this study are advanced and used to build digital twin data, it is thought that a high-quality smart city can be realized.

  • Proofing is one of the inspection operations of printing and can be considered a process control step. The three main kinds of proofs are press proofs, photomechanical proofs, and digital proofs. Photomechanical and digital proofs are also generally refered to as "off-press" proofs. Off-press color proofs are more economical than press proofs. Digital proofs offer fast production time along with a much lower cost per page. Hard-copy digital proofs can be output using thermal transfer printers, ink jet printers, and color laser copiers, as well as dye sublimation and electrophotographic technology. Ink jet method is commonly using because of the reasonal price. But ink jet system is difficult to reproduce an exact color proof. This research was carried out for the purpose of optimization of ink jet color proofing, using two kinds of ink jet printers with 6 colors (C, M, Y, K, mC, mM) and 4 colors (C, M, Y, K) system.

  • Existing manufacturing system has consumed too much energy, space and resource in micro parts manufacturing. To improve this, micro factory system is suggested. But it is difficult to get the high reliability in the assembly, production and inspection of the minute parts because the construction of the micro factory has been started just before. In this study, we will build the digital manufacturing simulation on the micro factory's process and verify the production and assembly process using this simulation.
