In today's Pay TV market, the importance of TPS for Pay TV operators is increasing rapidly. IP Hybrid services are essential for satellite broadcasters. This paper explains the various digital satellite broadcasting service trend, especially IP based hybrid service approach of satellite broadcasters(BskyB, CanalSat, DirecTV, etc.). Also this paper introduces SkyLife IP hybrid business approach to achieve a strong leadership in Pay TV market and related IP convergence market in Korea.

In spite of the presence of various kind of Integrated Circuits it's not always easy to get the right part. Besides, it is hard to find a vendor for a small quantity consumers like who develop prototype applications. In this study, we've tried to get the logical signals from the PC based device we've developed that correspondents with the real ICs. It can emulate decoder ICs, multiplexers, demultiplexers and basic logic gates.

디지털 TV 방송은 미국, 영국, 일본 등 주요 선진국에서 이미 90년대 중반부터 실용화되고 있으며 향후 T커머스와 데이터 방송 등 다양한 인터랙티브 서비스 등을 제공할 수 있도록 발전하고 있다. 우리나라에서도 현재 지상파 시험방송을 실시하고 있으며 2002년 월드컵을 전후하여 본격적인 방송이 가능하도록 서두르고 있다.(중략)

A hydraulic gun/turret servo system requires fast and robust controller performance because of severe operating condition and precise target tracking objective. Digital controllers are able to satisfy this requirement due to high speed electronic device. The purpose of this study is to compare with pre-EPU with new-designed optimal, adaptive controllers by simulating nonlinear hydraulic simulation program. The designed digital controller shows good tracking performance and robustness to disturbance.

DMB is a next-generation multimedia broadcasting system that not only enables digital broadcasting services such as transmission of CD-duality audio, traffic information, and real-time stock information, but also allows reception of high-quality digital TV in high-speed driving conditions. In the DMB system, MPEG-2 TS(Transport Stream) multiplex method and MPEG-4 System SL(Sync Layer) have been selected as the delivery layer. In this paper, an efficient interface scheme between an MPEG-2 TS processing hardware and software-implemented MPEG-4 system within a DMB terminal device is proposed.

In this paper, we have developed the sandwich type digital actuator in order to improve the thrust of automatic moving device. Also it was analyzed by Finite Element Analysis(FEA) and Virtual Work Method. As a result of this paper, it was confirmed that the thrust characteristics of sandwich type digital actuator was improved considerably.

삼성전자는 LCD 방식에 이은 3세대 프로젝션 모델로 평가받는 DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) 기술을 채용한 43‘’, 50‘’, 61‘’ DLP (Digital Light Processing) 프로젝션 TV를 개발 시판하고 있다. DMD 기술이란 921,600개의 미세한 거울들이 신호에 따라 반사각도를 조절하며 이미지를 구현하는 기술이다. 삼판식 프로젝션 시스템의 단점을 개선, 경박단소와 저가격화를 위하여 단판식을 이용하는 DLP 프로젝션 TV 의 경우 Red, Green, Blue 로 이뤄진 칼라휠을 회전시킴으로서 DMD 위에 연속적으로 삼색의 영상을 재생하여 색을 분리 합성한다. In this paper, implementation process of standard platform for T-DMB Receiver in low-cost and small-size are following: First, implement SoC for 32 bit RISC CPU and 16 bit DSP, Hardware H.264 CODEC, Post Processor or Video Display, Audio Processor, I/O Device. Second, implement Real Time OS for flexible application. Third, propose simple architecture for interface with peripheral devices using one-chip processor.
