Study on Users' Perception of Digital Contents Traits and Intention (디지털콘텐츠 특성의 이용자 지각과 이용의도에 관한 연구)

  • This study demonstrates some major traits of digital contents as information, playfulness, individuality, perceived recognition as perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, relationship quality as satisfaction and commitment, user behavior as use intention. To make an empirical analysis the study, it is hypothesized that traits of digital contents and perceived recognition, traits of digital contents and relationship quality, perceived recognition and relationship quality, relationship quality and user behavior. Proposed theoretical model was based on TAM and was tested by the structure equation model for validity, credibility, goodness of fit. The major finding of this study can be summarized as follows, traits of digital contents are positively affected by perceived recognition, satisfaction in relationship quality and use intention via perceived recognition. Theoretical implication of this study are as follows. First, users wanted to choice only needed information. Second, users recognized digital contents as a part of life. So, user's ability is very important in this environment. According to this, business related with or interested in digital contents must have developed digital contents in variety aspect. Users must have concerned using digital contents, also.

  • With the development of information technology and digitalization in these days, information network of library has been accomplished rapidly. The use and concern on Multimedia contents are increasing in the digital library based on information network. In this study I examined the definition of Multimedia contents and analysed the contents services and contents management for the use of Multimedia contents in digital library. As a result. the effect of information technology is important for changing of information environment. Moreover, the multimedia which are resources whose information demand of the user is various contents with it is changing the possibility of knowing it was with application.

  • Lately, as domestic smart phone users exceeds 10 millions, Korea entered into real smart era in which smart contents market grows very quickly. One of feature for smart contents market is that there is few entry barrier for market penetration. So, it is essential for domestic digital contents providers to transform existing digital contents into smart contents to protect the entry of foreign firms into domestic market and to take advantage of opportunities to advance to foreign contents markets. The objective of this study is analyzing strategies of abroad companies which has penetrated into smart contents market successfully and classifying them systematically and the way to execute the proposed strategies. Future works of companies and governments to expand smart contents markets can be summarized as follows. First, they must prepare reliable data to elicitate proper market penetration strategies. Second, it is highly desirable to fuse contents industry and culture industry together. Third, it is urgent to formulate policies to promote SOHO contents companies.

  • The digital economic environment of next generation, which digital high-technology industry appears to be the economic center of the high degree of industry structure, is expected to be developed as the existing traditional industry is merged with high tech digital one. The developing system of contents policy for digital industry means the policy and vision, and strategic structure which get the mechanism of contents industry structure to work. The promotion organization of digital contents policy is requested to secure the framework of digital contents industry based on cluster, the infra framework of digital infra culture, the infra framework of industry-academic cooperation, and the overall digital contents based on motive policy for the vitality of the youth. The application of digital contents policy may lead to establish the framework of the growth for the every unit of industry with the cluster oriented system.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of AR digital contents on user learning context. More and more companies using digital contents for their products. Especially, some companies using AR (Augmented Reality) digital contents as a manual of their car. This Application affords diverse information to customers who want to know usage of its interface. Using this application, the study shows the effects of using AR digital contents on user's absorption, physical presence, immersion.

  • The purpose of this study are to show a new possibility of identity design to be used as tools of users identity expression, designing digital contents by studying on the methods to express users identities successfully in the digital contents design, and to present the possibility to expand the area of identity design. Digital contents are a communication media in it self, but this study tried to consider the digital contents as a tool of users communication or expression. The identity expression, which are not only makes communications efficient but also lets products and companies acknowledged by users, is one of the most indispensable factors in products competitive power in both the present and the future. However, no define methods of identity expression are settled as well as recognized by users properly and accurately yet, so that this study focuses on that point. Therefore, This study is advanced in the direction of establishing the concept of digital identity for an expansion of the media toward the identity expression in design as well as making researchers in successful identity expression ways by means of actual design, more than a graphic image making that simply decorates a digital contents. The point of this study is to show a new concept of identity design that expresses users identities so as to suggest another possibility of identity design.

  • The change of digital convergence service environment converted the subject of design into user -centric one instead of developer-centric one, and changed the existing design environment focused on product development into the new user -centric design environment. Accordingly, GUI considering user's usability come to take big shares in those contents being used for multimedia equipments. However, as the present educational contents provide complex interface due to its design produced based on the existing e-learning system, they have many problems in that they don't consider user's usability. Thus this paper aimed to analyze actual examples through GUI elements of educational contents being used for multimedia equipments and attempt to suggest some directions for development. additionally, consider the various characteristics of digital convergence environment and educational contents, and try to set up strategic directions possible to utilize user'-centric interface elements more usefully and properly at the time to produce designs.

  • UCI is contributing to establishing and administrating CMS to improve the quality of contents efficiently and effectively. In these days, enterprises are also making a new try to manage copyrights of digital contents by use of DRM(Digital Right Management). UCI would be a good solution to solve this overburden. The objective of our research is to study on practical uses of various digital contents models on the basis of UCI. We introduce two business cases; one is publishment of digital contents and the other is DB service of digital contents.

  • As a high-speed growth of internet infrastructure and a fast supply of digital imaging devices, a digital image contents industrialization is growing fast. Digital image contents are represented as digitalized images for recognition by the computer. This paper proposes the customized stock image contents management system for digital image contents developers and UCC contents producers. For automatic batch management of image contents, we design the system using the techniques of stock image meta-data conversion to want, image contents format conversion to want and selective image contents uploading to want. Furthermore, constructed system can be embedded to a system easy and fast. It provides efficient work environment as appling conventional systems and contributes for user-friendly interface construction.

  • This paper examines the change and its meaning of marketing strategy in business administration, which is changing along with the development of digital technology. Unlike conventional marketing, digital marketing is creating new relationships and making changes through a two-way approach rather than a one-way approach between producers and consumers. And these changes are creating new approaches not only in the problems between businesses and consumers, but also in the relationship between public institutions and citizens. In particular, the potential of platforms, which are emerging as important in digital management, is applied to public policies, and efforts are being made to establish marketing strategies for public institutions. One case of this was applied to the cultural contents industry and policy to examine specific measures and visions. The cultural big data platform is in line with digital management and continuously utilizes digital marketing strategies in the public domain, and aims to promote creative work as well as publicize it to citizens and workers in the cultural content industry. The synergy effect that will emerge from the combination of the cultural big data platform and digital management is expected to continue.
