The digital economic environment of next generation, which digital high-technology industry appears to be the economic center of the high degree of industry structure, is expected to be developed as the existing traditional industry is merged with high tech digital one. The developing system of contents policy for digital industry means the policy and vision, and strategic structure which get the mechanism of contents industry structure to work. The promotion organization of digital contents policy is requested to secure the framework of digital contents industry based on cluster, the infra framework of digital infra culture, the infra framework of industry-academic cooperation, and the overall digital contents based on motive policy for the vitality of the youth. The application of digital contents policy may lead to establish the framework of the growth for the every unit of industry with the cluster oriented system.

This paper describes our design of a contents distribution framework that supports transparent distribution of digital contents on the Internet as well as copyright protection of participants in the contents distribution value chain. Copyright protection must ensure that participants in the distribution channel get the royalties due to them and that purchasers use the contents according to usage rules. It must also prevent illegal draining of digital contents. To design a contents distribution framework satisfying the above requirements, we first present four digital contents distribution models. On the basis of the suggested distribution models, we designed a contract system for distribution of royalties among participants in the contents distribution channel, a license mechanism for enforcement of contents usage to purchasers, and both a packaging mechanism and a secure client system for prevention of illegal draining of digital contents.

The 21st century survive only who creating, taking, and managing to knowledge. Digital contents industry becomes to the core in the future. The current categorization of digital games is not objective and is unable to assess the latest and more complex digital games. Digital games need to be systematically categorized so that similarities and differences can be identified and analyzed. The fundamental characteristic of digital games is interactivity. This paper addresses the current categorization gaps through the lens of interactivity. Through this lens, a conceptual framework consisting of primary and corresponding participants and controlling characters is developed. Future research topics are then presented based on this framework.

Digital technology has been changing everyday life of ordinary people let alone the structure of world industry. The elderly care service is also going through changes influenced by the unavoidable impact from torrents of digital technologies. There are numerous reports and news about the digital technologies increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of care service yet lacking systematic understanding of the sources of such improvement. This study aims to present a new classification framework for digital elderly care service innovation to fully utilize the power of digital technologies drawing on insights from innovation studies and service studies. First, 4 features of digital technologies are identified as sources of new value in service innovation. The co-creation of value by users and producers in service and technology development is discussed to illuminate users' contributions to service innovation. Communication of needs and ideas with producers and application of new technologies into everyday practice of life are identified as the source of new value which can be attributed to the elderly. Customization along with efficiency gains is the key to digital elderly care service innovation. The classification framework, thus, incorporates the needs of the elderly as one axis of criteria in the conventional technology-centered framework. The new classification framework would help give due weight to user-driven or demand-driven innovation in the elderly care service R&D activities.

This study suggested a digital curation framework for supporting the digital policy of institutes that collect memory. As such, it conducted a literature review and an analysis of digital curation models, as well as a focus-group interview of historians and graduate students majoring in historical studies. In this study, digital curation framework refers to an abstract model for supporting policy development and the planning for a high-level view of the archival information service. This implications of this framework are as follows: (1) to emphasize the data life cycle and connection between stages and actions; (2) to make an infra-schema for understanding institutes that create, arrange, or store specific data as the same history contents have to be provided by different institutes and as there are differences in the data's value; (3) to check the present conditions of information services and their systems; (4) to consider the practical applications of contents that have been collected and stored; and (5) to converge all data in one system through the framework and activate diverse works in the context of the framework.

This paper proposes a Distributed Transaction models based on the multimedia framework (MPEG-21) in digital convergence environment. Digital media market is growing up rapidly according to the extension of internet and universality of multimedia contents. So, importance of the effective management with the production and distribution of produced multimedia contents is becoming larger. For effective management of multimedia contents, the multimedia contents which are represented with different standard each other can be processed adaptively in the variable network environment. A free compatibility among the different terminals and standards are the essential particular should be offered for the digital convergence environment. A multimedia framework supports this compatibility and various multimedia services. In this paper, the Distributed Transaction models that multimedia contents can be circulated among the individual users safely and freely are proposed and the relation technologies are described.

All records have attribute of representing the object, so archives should develop digital record exhibition to facilitate attribute that representing the object. If building cultural properties are chose as the represented object, it should be followed by analysis of nature values and record contents and applied to the suitable framework. Digital content industry is growing rapidly because of the property of high-speed networking and greater demand for digital fulltext-image. However, we know the fact that it is many difficulty in production and supply for good quality of content. Hereupon, we suggest digital fulltext-image service framework to protect copyright. More concretely, we propose integrated model and reference model to securely serve digital fulltext-image by recompositing core objects and reconstructing the value-chain structure of digital content industry to framework including the process(from its production (creators or copyrighters) to consumption (users or consumers)). Also, we construct the digital fulltext- image service system based on reference model and reconstruct its interface that occurs between core subjects.

As both a digital camera and a digital camcorder are popularized in recent years, UCC created by general users is also popularized. Unfortunately, according to that, the lack of privacy is also increasing more and more. The UCC is saved on the recordable media(Media) like DVD and deposited personally as well as distributed through Internet portal service. If you use Internet portal service to put up your contents, you can partially prevent the violation of privacy using security technologies such as authentication and illegal copy protection offered by internet portal service providers. Media also has technologies to control illegal copy. However, it is difficult to protect your privacy if your Media having personal contents is stolen or lost. Therefore, it is necessary to develope an additional security mechanism to guarantee privacy protection when you use Media. In this paper, we describe AACS framework for Media Security and propose improved AACS framework to control the access to personal contents saved on Media.
