  • This study is to research the plane form of representative and comparatively well preserved the Eastern Orthodox church that is located in the old streets of Istanbul among the church built in the 6th century to the 12th century A.D. and arrange the organic nature of plane at the christian church of the times, the characteristics of the Eastern Orthodox church followed by religion ideology. Also it is required continuously to classify and arrange the building type about the historic remains of christian church in the suburbs of Aegean sea by means of the times, region, ideeology.

  • This study examined the P Church in the Large chapel and S Church in the midium chapel were Analyzed to the installed stage broadcast lighting system. As a result of the installation of lighting equipment of LED class in P Church in the Large chapel, it provided clearer image and did not have shadow. While tungsten halogen illumination was very hot and heated to be preaching, LED was not heated so the pastor was very comfortable for preaching. S Church in the Midium chapel due to low ceiling height using LED lighting musical, theater and possibly were directed. If a similar structure of Dae-Hak Street theater to replace the existing fixtures by LED lighting, rendering effective and energy saving effect is thought to have much effect.

  • Ok-Cheon catholic church has been changed 4 times since it's first construction in 1955. Prior three changes were small ones of windows, doors, roof finish etc. but the last alteration was the extension of it's plan from 一 shape to long cross shape and along with it the size, structure and form of it changed. This history of the church has not been recorded in drawing but only in text with indistinct features not documented. This study makes a new 2D CAD files using layers matched the changes and 3D digital models, these have not only present information but also change informations of the church. They are useful data for effective management, conservation restoration or possible reuse of it.

  • Today, Korean Society have stood on the transformation of Globalization and information. Under these radical changes, the Korean church faced the crisis of decline. In fact, decreasing population of new generation in the church who lead digital age makes the future of Korean church look black. This research tried to suggest mission strategy for new generation through develop worship contents using multimedia.

A Study on the Improvement Plan : Based on the Survey on the Teachers in Church Schools in Korea (한국 교회학교 교사의 실태조사에 따른 개선 방안에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to suggest the improvement plan for the future church schools and the teachers after examining the reality and the situation of the teachers in church schools in Korea. In order to do this, the study examined the factors of the changes in Christian population in Korea, the factors of reduced number of Christian population and the factors of the reduced number of students in church schools. It also conducted the survey on the teachers in church schools to find the actual problems and situation of them. Based on the result and analysis of the survey, the study will suggest the alternative plans for improvement. The study asked 12 questions of 534 teachers to examine the real situations of the teachers in church schools in Korea and based on the analysis and result of it, the study will suggest a couple of alternatives to the teachers.

  • Christian education for the world after COVID-19 needs to use rapid changes in the surrounding situation as an opportunity to overcome a new crisis so that the church can achieve its educational mission. If the biggest dilemma in the post-Corona era is that there is no authoritative educational prescription anywhere, the most reasonable option for church education in this situation is to emphasize and cultivate learners' ability to flexibly cope with rules that are completely different than before COVID-19. As a natural result of the crisis, Christian education needs to be more interested in the trend of social change in the pandemic era(glocalization, digital transformation, economic inequality, educational environment change, church crisis) and actively reflect its contents in education. In addition, while operating a mobile(or online) church school that combines offline and online, there is an urgent need for an innovative transition to a core church school where certain church schools and churches cooperate with each other, a church school that guarantees a safe learning space, and an ecological church school that is interested in education dealing with climate change and ecology.

An Exploratory Study for the Application of Metaverse in Church Education (메타버스의 교회교육 적용을 위한 탐색적 연구)

  • Due to the 4th industrial revolution, which started with the Smart Revolution in the early 21st century, Hyper-Connectivity, Hyper-Convergence and Hyper-Intelligence of our society is accelerating. These changes induced formation of Metaverse as a fused new space that crosses the perimeter of the physical space and virtual(digital) spaces beyond time and place. The characteristics of Metaverse are continuously spread by engaging with the characteristics of the MZ generation, which collects both Millennial generation (M Generation) and Z Generation. With outburst of Covid-19 pandemic, a variety of attempts have been made to utilize Metaverse, even in church education when it was impossible to worship directly. In other words, the usefulness of the Metaverse was confirmed as a new community space of the education of the church. In addition, Metaverse may provide a substantial, experiential and evolving space for church education. However, in order for church education to further develop, the development in the method of education is also required to move beyond mere concept of space. In particular, when the learner-centered education method, one of the common characteristics of the Metaverse and MZ generation, it is thought that the church education in the Metaverse era will be able to go in a more evolving direction.

A Study on "On-tact" Christian Education in the Post-Corona Era (포스트 코로나 시대의 "온택트(ontack)" 기독교교육에 관한 연구)

  • This paper begins with the question of whether "on-tact" Christian education, which has become the most new-normal phenomenon since Corona 19, will remain as a decisive form of Christian education even in the post-Corona era. In order to answer that question, this study explored whether on-tact Christian education has its own domain of experience and educational elements that cannot be replaced by face-to-face education, specifically focusing on "types of on-tact Christian Education", "discussion of digital church" and "digital epistemology". Through research on "types of onn-tact Christian education," it confirmed that, when viewed on the basis of 'participation' or 'communication', on-tact Christian education has an independent field of experience and educational elements. Through contemplation on "digital ecclesiology", it found that on-tact education is the decisive channel for Christian education to reach digital generation. It also found a new metaphor from the "network" concept for the public church and the Kingdom of God. This paper also found that we experience the perception of the body that is expanded through the combination between the body and technology in the digital world, and that this is a unique epistemology that occurs only in the digital world. Based on the above points, it affirmed that on-tact Christian education is not simply a means of supplementing face-to-face education in the era of COVID-19, but is a Christian education that has an independent field of experience and educational power that face-to-face education cannot replace. Thus it foresees that on-tact Christian education will continue to expand as a center and form of Christian education even in the post-corona era.

Church Education in the COVID-19 Era (포스트 코로나 시대의 교회교육)

  • The World Health Organisation(WHO), paying attention to the spread and fatality of the coronavirus(COVID-19), which first occurred in Wuhan, China, declared a global emergency. Although many countries implement strict measures to slow down the spread, WHO officially declared a pandemic. COVID-19 has sparked fears of an impending economic crisis and recession. Due to the economic crisis caused by social distancing, self-isolation and travel restrictions, the collapse of the world economic system centered on free trade and the decline of globalization are mentioned. Political leadership that has not responded properly to the pandemic is challenged, and nearly all of society is rapidly changing to a non-contact and immobile culture. COVID-19 has seriously affected all levels of the education system, from preschool to tertiary education. The so-called old concept of deschooling is realizing in the field of education through digital media paradoxically. Church education is facing a serious crisis as well. Churches are seeking now a new normal that includes theological reflection on the pandemic, online worship, education, and non-face-to-face ministry to overcome the worst unexpected crisis. In the post-corona era, church education must actively seek alternatives in response to rapidly changing surrounding conditions and reconstruct educational philosophy(theology) that focuses on Christian values. In addition, it is necessary to start operating a mobile(or online) church school that combines offline and online. It is necessary to introduce 'Blended Learning' method that combines non-face-to-face and face-to-face learning, and by combining church school and homeschooling, churches and families need to share the responsibility of education in faith.

A Study on the Meaning of Record Contents Based on Record Continuum: Focusing on the Record Contents of Religious Institutions (레코드 컨티뉴엄 기반 기록콘텐츠의 의미 모색 종교기관 기록콘텐츠 사례를 중심으로)

  • This study reinterprets the meaning of the record contents from the viewpoint of the record continuum to find ways to enhance the usability of records that are emphasized by the electronic record environments. In general, in academic discussions and practical examples, record contents are recognized as digital media produced by putting a high level of computer technologies and a big budget based on some records related to specific subjects. To enhance the usability of, and spread the meaning through, records, it is necessary to shift the awareness in record contents. For this purpose in Chapter 2, to grasp the meanings of the church records as well as the utilization direction, it is necessary to analyze the organization and function. Therefore, the analysis of the organization and function of the church was examined. In Chapter 3, this study attempted to find the meaning of the contents of church records in each dimension of the record continuum in relation to the mission of the church, which was identified through the organization and function analysis of the church. In Section 3, which corresponds to Dimension 4, the meaning of church record contents is diversified in society. In the end, this study suggests that the meaning and use value of records can be found in everyday life and can then be spread to society as well.
