현장 조사와 ICT 동향 분석을 통한 스몸비 현황과 개선 방안 연구 (A Study on the Current Situation and Improved Method for the Smombie through Field Survey and ICT Trend Analysis)

  • Smart phone zombie or Smombie means pedestrians who walk without attention to their surroundings because they are focused upon their smart phone. Because the traffic accidents and injuries caused by Smombie have been increased rapidly in recent years, the social attention and policies are needed to prevent it. This study was conducted to analyze Smombie's current status and some solutions used before and to propose new improved method through the latest ICT trend. In this study, we did the field survey to check Smombies at several places in Seoul through people counting, and found that a lot of pedestrians still use the smart phone while walking. And we analyzed many case studies about some solutions to prevent Smombies previously. The case studies include legal regulations, government policies, smart phone app services and facilities that are used before. We studied them through internet searches and reference studies and we also checked the current operating situation as visiting several places that the solutions actually has been operated. Therefore, we found there are some limitations in previous solutions in terms of effectiveness and management. To consider new solution that can be expected to overcome the limitations, we analyzed the latest ICT trends focused on features to utilize the Smombie prevention, especially video recognition and digital signage. In these days, video recognition has been developed rapidly with assistance of AI technology and it can recognize the specific pedestrian's characteristics such as holding smart phone as well as hair style, clothes, backpack and etc. On the other hands, the digital signage is the convergence device that includes big display, network connection and various IoT sensors. It can be used as public media in many places for public services as well as advertising. Through these analysis results, we show the requirements and the user scenario for the improved method to prevent Smombie. Finally, we propose to develop R&D technology to recognize Smombie exactly as pedestrian attributes and to spread creative contents to increase pedestrian's interest and engagement for Smombie prevention through digital signage.

전자상거래(電子商去來)의 인증체계(認證體系)에 관한 고찰(考察) (A Study on the Certification System in Electromic Commerce)

  • The basic requirements for conducting electronic commerce include confidentiality, integrity, authentication and authorization. Cryptographic algorithms, make possible use of powerful authentication and encryption methods. Cryptographic techniques offer essential types of services for electronic commerce : authentication, non-repudiation. The oldest form of key-based cryptography is called secret-key or symmetric encryption. Public-key systems offer some advantages. The public key pair can be rapidly distributed. We don't have to send a copy of your public key to all the respondents. Fast cryptographic algorithms for generating message digests are known as one-way hash function. In order to use public-key cryptography, we need to generate a public key and a private key. We could use e-mail to send public key to all the correspondents. A better, trusted way of distributing public keys is to use a certification authority. A certification authority will accept our public key, along with some proof of identity, and serve as a repository of digital certificates. The digital certificate acts like an electronic driver's license. The Korea government is trying to set up the Public Key Infrastructure for certificate authorities. Both governments and the international business community must involve archiving keys with trusted third parties within a key management infrastructure. The archived keys would be managed, secured by governments under due process of law and strict accountability. It is important that all the nations continue efforts to develop an escrowed key in frastructure based on voluntary use and international standards and agreements.

  • 정보화 시대의 요구에 대한 교육적 대응은 학습자중심의 교육이며, 정보통신 기술을 기반으로 한 원격 교육이다. WBI(Web Based Instruction)는 웹을 매체로 활용하여 원거리에 있는 학습자를 교육시키는 형태로서 교수자와 학습자간 상호작용을 가능하게 하고, 다양한 형태의 학습 자료를 제공하며, 공간적 제약을 극복할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 차세대 웹 표준문서 포맷으로 부상되고 있는 XML(eXtensible Markup Language)을 사용한 규격에 대한 국내외적인 표준화 작업이 가속화되고 있으며, 최근 XML 보안에 대한 연구가 활성화 되고 있다. XML 보안은 XML 엘리먼트 암호화, XML 전자서명, XML 접근제어 등으로 분류되는데 특히 XML 전자서명은 XML문서를 이용하는 여러 분야에 사용되어 전자서명 시스템간의 상호 연동성을 높일 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹상에서 사용되어지는 공인인증서에 대한 사용자의 ID, PW로 인한 보안적 측면을 고려한 방법으로 XML 전자서명 기법을 이용한 다중인식 원격교육 에이전트 시스템을 제안 하였다.

마이크로프로세서 제어를 이용한 DC-DC Buck Converter 설계 (Design of DC-DC Buck Converter Using Micro-processor Control)

  • Recently, Mobile multimedia equipments as smart phone and tablet pc requirement is increasing and this market is also being expanded. These mobile equipments require large multi-media function, so more power consumption is required. For these reasons, the needs of power management IC as switching type dc-dc converter and linear regulator have increased. DC-DC buck converter become more important in power management IC because the operating voltage of VLSI system is very low comparing to lithium-ion battery voltage. There are many people to be concerned about digital DC-DC converter without using external passive device recently. Digital controlled DC-DC converter is essential in mobile application to various external circumstance. This paper proposes the DC-DC Buck Converter using the AVR RISC 8-bit micro-processor control. The designed converter receives the input DC 18-30 [V] and the output voltage of DC-DC Converter changes by the feedback circuit using the A/D conversion function. Duty ratio is adjusted to maintain a constant output voltage 12 [V]. Proposed converter using the micro-processor control was compared to a typical boost converter. As a result, the current loss in the proposed converter was reduced about 10.7%. Input voltage and output voltage can be displayed on the LCD display to see the status of the operation.

  • 지적재산권 제도는 과거 산업사회의 태동과 발전과정에서 뿐만 아니라, 21세기 정보화 사회의 발전에 있어서도 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 우리나라의 국가 경쟁력 제고를 위해서도 디지털콘텐츠에서 확대하여 프로그램 소스 코드에 대한 지적재산권 제도와 기술의 정비는 매우 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 프로그램 소스 코드의 소유권 분쟁이 발생시 소유권을 증명하기 위해서는 원본의 프로그램 소스코드를 공개해야만 하는 문제점을 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 프로그램 소스코드의 원본 공개로 인한 저작권 침해와 기술 유출을 막기 위한 프로그램 소스코드의 디지털 라이센스 방식을 설계 및 시뮬레이션한다.

MAC Address와 OTP를 이용한 비인가 접근 거부 시스템 (A System Unauthorized Access using MAC Address and OTP)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 ID, PW를 이용한 사용자 식별 인증 시스템 방식을 보완하여 ID, PW, OTP를 이용한 사용자 인증과 네트워크상의 컴퓨터 구별 방법 중 MAC Address를 이용한 방법을 이용하여 비인가 사용자 접근을 거부하는 시스템에 대한 프로토콜을 설계하고 구현한다. 비인가 시용자의 인증 시도에 대한 안전성 분석에서는 비인가 사용자의 정보 취득 정도를 네 가지로 나누어 안전성에 대해 분석했다.

블록체인 환경에서의 PGP 인증 시스템 (PGP Certification System in Blockchain Environments)

  • PGP is an encryption software designed to provide information protection, security and authentication services for online communication systems. The characteristic of behavior done on the Internet is that you don't know the other person. It is very important to protect information from someone you cannot trust. So identification of the other person is an important task. PGP uses an digital signature algorithm to verify the identity of the other party. However, it is not accurate to check the other party's credibility. PGP increases trust as other users sign more on public keys of user. In other words, credibility is not perfect. In this paper, PGP certification system that key management in Ethereum blockchain, one of the blockchain platforms, is proposed. Key management in blockchain ensures data integrity, transparency and reliability.

Scanner Certification Tool for the Standardization of Digitized Documents: Focusing on Target Factors and Measurement Programs

  • Scanners play an important role in digitally reproducing the color and imaging of original documents used in public offices; however, the current system lacks a standard for digitized documents created by scanners, complicating efforts to create a digitized system. In particular, macrography cannot guarantee the accuracy and reliability of digitalized color documents, pictures, and photographs created by scanners. To this end, we develop a standardized evaluation tool and test target to certify digitalized documents created by a scanner in the domestic environment. In this study, we enhance the accuracy and reliability of scanned data to create an advanced standard evaluation tool for scanners. Moreover, to produce a scanner certification standard, we overcome existing problems related to the growing market. We anticipate that this new standard will see a high degree of application in the current environment.

본질안전인증 취득을 위한 요구조건 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Requirements Analysis for Obtaining Intrinsic Safety Certification)

  • 원유 탱크나 가스 저장소 등과 같이 상시 폭발 가능한 농도의 지역을 0종 지역이라고 한다. 0종지역에서 각종 장비를 사용하기 위해서는 본질적으로 스파크가 일어나지 않는다는 것을 보증할 수 있는 본질안전인증을 득해야 한다. 본질안전인증을 취득하는 장치는 대부분 간단한 단품 소자이거나 장치가 대부분인데 본 연구에서는 수백가지 부품이 PCB 기판에 실장된 초음파 발생 장치와 마이크로컨트롤러가 포함된 전자전자회로를 본질안전인증을 취득하려고 하는 것이므로 매우 어려운 과정이었다. 본 연구를 통해 까다로운 본질안전인증을 대비한 회로 설계를 어떻게 해야 하는지에 대한 방법을 파악할 수 있게 되었으며 향후 본질안전인증을 취득하게 될 경우 본 연구의 결과를 이용하면 보다 용이하게 본질안전 회로를 설계할 수 있게 될 것이다.
