When turning to determining a subject position for the digital age, one may look beyond the invention of its technologies and instead begin with the development of its aesthetic of networked communities, nodal expression, and collaborative identity. Virginia Woolf's The Waves demonstrates this aesthetic in both form and content. In this paper, I will examine the role of collaboration in the form of interdisciplinary composition, arguing that Woolf's use of musical form and dramatic monologue and dialogue structurally secure an investment in collaborative models of expression. Digital texts taut their inherent multimodality, but such compositions are also evident in pre-digital texts. In addition, I will decipher the subject position Woolf puts forward in The Waves by looking closely at how the characters determine their own identity and existence when they are alone, when they interact with one individual, and when they congregate as a group. These are exemplified more specifically in the representations of Rhoda and Bernard as equally refusing to collaborate between a self-defined identity and a group defined identity; Bernard's channeling of Lord Byron while writing a love letter; and Woolf's use of the red carnation as a repeated image of the intertwined nature of the characters' collaborative identity and mutual dependence on one another.

In this study, features and design effects of PV(Photovoltaic) modules were classified to help the installation of BIPV(Building Integrated Photovoltaic) In addition, through domestic and international trends and cases survey, installation method was organized and applicable range of efficiency and design from First-generation solar cells to the third-generation solar cell was classified. Frist, Crystalline Solar cell module of first-generation is appropriate for the wall type, roof, louver, shading and etc. It has superiority of technology and price stability and can be achieved by a variety of aesthetic effects. Second, Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell of Thin Film solar cell can express a variety of colors, adjust light transmittance and maximize the aesthetic splendor. It is appropriate for the wall type, window type, curtain wall type and etc. Also, see-through type solar cell can provide comforts cause of free flow of light. And it is advantageous from economic due to adjust the indoor temperature. It is appropriate for the atrium type, curtain wall type, window type and etc.

21세기에 접어들며 영화예술의 제작환경 및 시스템은 아날로그에서 디지털로 매우 급격히 이행해 갔다. 그러한 과정에서 영상기술의 발전과 변화는 영상미학의 표현적 양식에 지대한 영향을 미쳤다고 볼 수 있다. 그러나 기존 아날로그적 영상미학이 디지털 환경으로 어떻게 이행되었는지에 관한 깊이 있는 논의는 다소 미흡하다고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 아날로그 시대와 디지털 시대를 자유롭게 넘나들며 주목할만한 창작활동을 계속해서 펼치고 있는 이와이 슌지의 최신 극영화 <라스트 레터>를 통해 그가 아날로그 시대에서부터 추구해온 '이와이 미학'이 디지털 시대에 있어서 어떠한 모습으로 드러나고 있는지를 구체적으로 살펴보고 있다. 방법적으로는 이와이 슌지가 어떠한 과정을 거쳐 아날로그에서 디지털 시대로 이행했는지를 살펴보고, 그의 디지털 영상작품 <라스트 레터>를 '빛', '구도', '공간과 시선'이라는 의 세 가지 미학적 관점에서 접근하여 분석 하였다.

실루엣 애니메이션은 애니메이션의 시작을 알린 20세기 초반부터 애니메이션의 한 장르로 인정받아왔으며, 특유의 움직임과 조형성은 다양한 의미론적 해석과 조형적 활용을 가능케 해왔다. 특히 프랑스의 애니메이션 감독 미셀 오슬로는 실루엣 애니메이션에 디지털을 접목하여 실루엣 애니메이션의 확장 가능성을 끊임없이 모색하고 새로운 활로를 개척하고 있다. 최근작인 <밤의 이야기>는 3차원 입체로 실루엣 애니메이션을 제작함으로써 실루엣 애니메이션이 가지고 있던 고질적 한계들을 그만의 방식과 스타일로 진화시켰다. 오슬로 감독은 점점 더 사실적인 움직임을 지향하는 디지털 애니메이션의 흐름 속에서도 선택된 움직임과 대안적 요소들을 통해 느림의 미학을 제시한다. 뿐만 아니라, 정서, 감정 등의 무의식적 요소들을 강조하는 색채, 구도, 패턴 등을 그만의 방식으로 활용함으로써 이미지 범람의 시대에 절제되면서도 오히려 디지털로 강화된 회화적 인상과 이미지를 선사한다. 이와 함께 디지털의 획득으로 가능해진 3차원적 공간 활용은 관객들에게 더욱 폭넓은 조형적 상상력을 제공한다. 이 논문에서는 움직임, 이미지, 공간의 세 가지 범주에서 미셀 오슬로의 디지털 실루엣 애니메이션인 <밤의 이야기 Tales of the Night>(2011)의 진화된 미학적 특성들을 기존 전통적 기법의 실루엣 애니메이션과의 비교를 통해 분석 하였다. 이를 통해 <밤의 이야기>가 기존 실루엣 애니메이션 특유의 환영적 특징들을 새롭게 환기시키는 동시에, 여러 가지 제약으로 침체되었던 실루엣 애니메이션 제작에 디지털 접목을 통한 새로운 활기와 가능성을 모색하게 하였음을 발견하였다. 점점 더 획일화되어가는 디지털 애니메이션의 현 시점에서 이와 같은 디지털을 접목한 실루엣 애니메이션은 기존 아날로그 방식 특유의 정적 매력을 그대로 유지하면서도 디지털로 새로운 조형적 상상력을 극대화시킨다는 점, 그리고 이러한 부분들이 향후 디지털 애니메이션의 다양성 획득과 발전적 진화에 큰 보탬이 될 수 있다는 점에 있어서 충분한 연구 가치와 그 가능성을 지니고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 이를 통해 미셀 오슬로의 새로운 실험과 작품경향에 대해서도 살펴볼 수 있는 기회를 마련하고자 한다.

본 논문은 2017년 10월 31일 개최된 제7회 트랜스미디어연구소 국제심포지움 <고전예술과 디지털>의 일부 발표 내용을 요약 및 정리한 내용을 담고 있다. 금년 국제심포지움은 '고전예술과 디지털'이란 다소 넓은 주제 아래에서 무용학을 비롯한 영상학과 영화학, 그리고 순수예술의 분야에 몸담고 있는 국내외의 학자들이 참여해 심도 깊고 미래지향적인 논의를 펼쳤다. 원본과 가상적 모방의 이중적 재현에 대한 제1부의 논의에서 '시각예술과 디지털'에 대한 3편의 논문이 중점적으로 소개되었다. 이 첫 번째 논의가 '일상적 심미화 과정의 체계변화'라는 새로운 관점으로의 이동을 촉구하며 정리되었다면, 이어지는 제2부 '공연예술과 디지털'에 대한 논의는 디지털 융합과 퍼포먼스의 시대에 발생하는 지시적 용어 체계의 구체화를 꼬집으며 새로운 미학적 토대의 발생에 대한 가능성을 언급되며 마무리되었다. 특히 2부의 전체 발표 논문 중 2편의 무용 매체에 대한 논문이 본고에 집중적으로 소개된다. <고전예술과 디지털>이라는 올해의 주제가 계속하여 '제2의 라오콘 논쟁'에 대한 발판을 제시하리라 기대하면서 본 논의는 정리될 수 있다. 요컨대, 미학의 역사상 나타난 다양한 논쟁의 이면에서 '예술'과 예술이 남긴 그 '정신적인 유산'에 대한 거대한 흐름을 읽어낼 필요가 있다는 점을 촉구하며 학술대회가 마무리된 것이다. 미래지향적으로 활발하게 진행되고 있는 융복합 미디어 시대에 발맞추어 실무적이면서도 체계적인 이론의 기초를 금년 국제학술대회는 제시하고 있다고 자평할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the Digital Paradigm cords depicted on the Digital Clothing by borrowing nearby fields. Therefore, it will offer not only theoretical data but also databases for product development on functional and aesthetic views even though it is not systematically set up the idea vet. The Digital Paradigm cords of Interactivity. Nonlinearity and Combination in the Digital Clothing were determined. This study found that Interactivity Paradigm cord was expressed by the interaction of clothing and computer, the techniques of built in·attach·detach·fragment of the Digital Clothing at the external indicators, and maintained this personalizing that was pursued comprehension and the shape and silhouette of the existed clothing, that Nonlinearity Paradigm cord was able to overcome the limitation of a successively approach, in other words the discontinuous moving possibilities of time and space, that Combination Paradigm cord was contained creative concept without fixed ideas through coordination of Digital Clothing that was combination. continuous creation, changes and process between heterogeneous factors. In conclusion, introduction of the new Digital Paradigm is going to accelerate on lasting development and research.

The purpose of this study is to make a contribution to the development of creative fashion culture through the expansion of creative fields in the fashion design area and also the combination of fashion and art techniques, by classifying the cases of Trompe $L{\oe}il$ expressed in modern fashion, and also analyzing its aesthetic characteristics. Conducting the qualitative research through the literature study and the analysis of design cases, it targeted the women's wear collections of Paris, Milan, London, and New York, limiting its range from S/S 2010 to F/W 2015. The results are as follows: First, based on the preceding research, the types of Trompe $L{\oe}il$ expressed in modern fashion were shown as realistic expression of clothing, movement of daily objects, double images, and application of human body. Second, the aesthetic characteristics of Trompe $L{\oe}il$ based on its expression types were deconstruction, avant-garde, and amusements. The deconstruction was expressed in the expression type of Trompe $L{\oe}il$ such as freedom of materials using digital printing technique, change in the position of clothes, and movement of daily items using collage technique by collecting objets like daily items or waste. The avant-garde was expressed by switching/overlapping in and out of clothes, intentionally exposing some body parts like breast or torso, displacing body parts, and moving daily items. The amusements was shown by realistically expressing accessories or details of clothes using digital printing technique, or moving daily items such as book and fork.

금속공예 분야에서 점차 쇠퇴되는 대공작품의 예술적 미적 가치를 연구하기 위해 시작된 본 연구는 디자인 요소인 점, 선, 면, 형을 중심으로 한 조형 표현방법으로 선과 면을 선정하고 이를 금속조형으로 시각화 하였다. 선행연구를 통해 알아본 선과 면의 미적 해석은 생명력 있는 반복적 아름다움으로 정의 되었는데 연구자는 여기에서 더 나아가 반복적이면서도 변화를 느낄 수 있는 조형 작품을 나타내고자 했다. 그 결과 선과 면이 규칙적 반복이 아닌 자연스럽게 점진되는 변화를 통해 어려운 기법이나 고도 기술의 제작 방법 없이도 선과 면의 단순한 변화 속에서 느껴지는 미적 아름다움을 표현할 수 있는 탐구의 대상이 가능함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 쇠퇴해가는 금속조형의 고부가가치 산업으로서의 성장을 예측할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 시작으로 향후 선과 면의 활용이 조형요소로서 매우 다양한 미적표현 방법으로 응용될 수 있는 연구가 계속 되기를 바란다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between thought systems of post-structuralism by Deleuze and digital culture which is the core topic of social and cultural discussion. And this study also aims to grasp the diversity and movable thinking shown in fashion illustration from the aesthetic thought systems of post-structuralism theory by Deleuze. Furthermore, this study intends to ascertain the concrete representation characteristics and its significance of fashion illustration by analyzing works on the basis of the above-mentioned theory. What are discussed in this paper can be summarized as follows First, this study examined the post-structuralism which supplies the theoretic basis for figuring out the principles of diversity and movable thinking. Second, this study examined the relationship between the open structure and movable individuality of Deleuze who is a representative scholar of post- structuralism. Third, this study analyzed the representative characteristics and aesthetic value to which the principles of post-structuralism, derived from the aesthetic theory of Deleuze, was applied.

The digital technology that has brought about the information revolution acts as the causes of multi-faceted socio-cultural phenomena. The spread of the digital environment and the popularity of the digital devices accelerate the phenomenon or the fusion of culture and technology, and such a phenomenon is no exception in the fashion design. Namely, the combination of fashion design and digital-based technology draws more and more attention; Not only the technology is simply applied to the fashion design, but also it is used as an emotional tool to enhance consumers' satisfaction, while some designs and marketing cases stimulating consumers' emotion are highlighted importantly. This study was aimed at surveying and analyzing the contemporary fashion using the digital technology and thereupon, assessing the characteristics of the emotional representations of technology as well as their aesthetic values. To this end, the theory of 'science of emotion and sensibility' was applied to divide the characteristics of emotional technological expressions in the contemporary fashion into immateriality, non-boundary, multi-media and interaction, while the aesthetic values of the emotional technology immanent in the contemporary fashion were categorized into communication & participation, conceptual configuration, physical expansion and variable movement. This study analyzed uses of technology for human emotion and sensibility shown in not only collections but also communication media and exhibition spaces and thereby, suggested the direction for our fashion industry to fulfill consumers' changing needs and advance further.
