  • It has been needed diagnosis technology of the EFG(Electro Functio Gram) measurement concept which is incorporated characteristic of modern science and biomedical engineering, because function abnormality diagnosis can't diagnose with visualization instruments or clinical pathology. The general diagnosis system(EFG system) has been developed to use basic diagnosis instrument that has reappearance, reliance and convenience using the functio diagnosis technology, in the field of western/oriental medicine. Also, we improved sticking electrode and simultaneous measurement method of the limbs 8CH, head 2CH to diagnose body circulation of Qi and acupoints for Oriental Medicine diagnosis/therapy. The result of clinical for adult man 20 persons, the EFG system can diagnose state of 12 meridians and autonomic nervous system. Therefore, in this paper, we designed of oriental medicine diagnosis system by bio-electric response with materialized H/W and S/W for 12 meridians state diagnosis of human body and system construction of the EFG.

  • When companies or institutes manage data, in order to utilize it as useful resources for decision-making, it is essential to offer precise and reliable data. While most small and medium-sized enterprises and public institutes have been investing a great amount of money in management and maintenance of their data systems, the investment in data management has been inadequate. When public institutions establish their data systems, inspection has been constantly carried out on the data systems in order to improve safety and effectiveness. However, their capabilities in improving the quality of data have been insufficient. This study develops an automatic tool to diagnose the quality of data in a way to diagnose the data quality condition of the inspected institute quantitatively at the stage of design and closure by inspecting the data system and proves its practicality by applying the automatic tool to inspection. As a means to diagnose the quality, this study categorizes, in the aspect of quality characteristics, the items that may be improved through diagnosis at the stage of design, the early stage of establishing the data system and the measurement items by the quality index regarding measurable data values at the stage of establishment and operation. The study presents a way of quantitative measurement regarding the data structures and data values by concretizing the measurement items by quality index in a function of the automatic tool program. Also, the practicality of the tool is proved by applying the tool in the inspection field. As a result, the areas which the institute should improve are reported objectively through a complete enumeration survey on the diagnosed items and the indicators for quality improvement are presented quantitatively by presenting the quality condition quantitatively.

  • Accident type and/or factor identification is important in accident reduction planning. The aim of this paper is to apply the hierarchical approach with binomial distribution and logistic regression analysis to find out types and factors, respectively. Based on 2001 Suwon city black spot data, a binomial distribution modeling approach has been applied to diagnose the black spots, with the help of safety performance modeling approach has been applied to diagnose the black spots, with the help of safety performance function. Then, the logistic regression analysis has been employed to identify the critical factors. Some accident remedies are also reviewed in the light of the model outcomes. The proposed research framework sheds light on a different accident related research and can also be successfully applied to similar studies and sites.

  • Although various imaging evaluation methods have been developed and utilized, thoracic radiography remains essential and is the top priority for diagnosing and managing cardiac diseases. Thoracic radiographic measurements associated with the vertebral heart scale (VHS) and caudal vena cava (CVC) can objectively diagnose cardiac disease in many animals. In particular, VHS measurement is primarily used to evaluate the dimensions of the heart size on thoracic radiographs and can measure cardiomegaly more objectively. Additionally, the value of the CVC compared with the aorta (Ao) and the length of vertebrae (VL) can be used as valuable parameters in right congestive heart failure. To describe the CVC/Ao and CVC/VL ratios in 10 long-tailed gorals (Naemorhedus caudatus) without subjective radiographic evidence of cardiac diseases. The VHS, CVC, Ao, and VL of gorals were measured in the right lateral (RL) view of the thoracic radiographs. In the RL view of 10 gorals, the VHS was 9.31 ± 0.55 vertebrae (v), the CVC/Ao ratio was 0.84 ± 0.13, and the CVC/VL ratio was 0.67 ± 0.09. Additionally, the thoracic morphology of gorals was determined to be intermediate (thoracic depth-to-width ratio, 1.04 ± 0.09, 0.75-1.25). This study confirmed that VHS was significantly correlated with CVC and Ao, and measuring and comparing each value would help diagnose cardiac diseases in gorals. The radiographic measurements in this study will allow veterinarians to diagnose several cardiac diseases in gorals.

  • The Samyang-Sameum(三陽三陰) is the movement form peculiar to the cosmic dual forces. Since Byunggi(病氣) along with the Gyungkki(經氣), The Samyang-Sameum(三陽三陰) is the standard for a diagnosis of a disease's outbreak and change. Anyone of The Samyang-Sameum(三陽三陰) can cause a disease in a Gyungkki(經氣) because each and every human being has different Gyungkki(經氣). And, a disease may outbreak by anyone of Wind-Cold-Warmth-Heat(風寒溫熱). Guiding principles of the six Meridians(六經提綱) is set to diagnose which one of the Gyungkki(經氣) causes a disease. Sanghallon(傷寒論) shows several measures to diagnose the lapse of a disease at the beginning stage of external affection(外感) by Wind-Cold(風寒). It is most serious when the Jeongyung(傳經) symptom appears within 6 to 7 days after a disease outbreak since it indicates the exhaustion of true Eum(眞陰). It means the lapse of a disease that formation of dry stool(燥尸) by fast Jeonsok(轉屬) to Yangmyeong(陽明) after a Taeyang(太陽) is diseased. It also means that a position of disease is worsening by a sticking phase of disease when Yipeum(入陰) symptom after anyone of Samyang-Sameum(三陽三陰) is diseased.
