Hospice should help a patient maintain spiritual well-being and its attitudes toward death can have great effects on treatment and nursing of patients on terminal patient. The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in spiritual well-being and attitudes toward death due to taking a Hospice Subject in Nursing Students This is a comparative study design in which 31 senior nursing students of taking a hospice care subject and 27 senior nursing students of not taking a hospice care subject in college of nursing K university, that is located B metropolitan city in Korea. The instruments for spiritual well-being measuring tools was Kim's (2006) revision and complement of the translation by Choe (1990) on the basis of the spiritual well-being scale developed by Paloutzian and Ellison (1983). The instruments for attitudes toward death was researches revision and complement of the translation by Kim(1992) on the basis of the attitudes toward death Measuring Tool developed by Thorson and Powell (1988). Data were collected from June 1 through June 30, 2006; the researcher got permission from the subjcts, explained objectives of the research to subjects personally and got their permission, and distributed structured questionnaires to make a response in a self-administered basis. For data analysis, an SPSS WINDOWS 12.0 program was used for frequency, percentage, the mean, standard deviation, the minimum, the maximum, x2-test, ANCOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficients. The main results of this research are as follows: 1. There were no differecnces the degree of spiritual well-being and the degree of attitudes toward death between nursing students who took a hospice subject and nursing students who did not take a hospice Subject, except several items of attitudes toward death. There was significant positive correlation (r= .508, p= .000) between subjects spiritual well-being and attitudes toward death. That is, the higher spiritual well-being, the more positive attitudes toward death. In conclusion, although there were no differecnces spiritual well-being and attitudes toward death between nursing students who took a hospice care subject and nursing students who did not take a hospice care subject, in nursing students, spiritual well-being was relatively high and their attitudes toward death was relatively positive. To help a nursing students make a positive change in attitudes toward death, a nursing intervention program is necessary to improve spiritual well-being.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation among family strength, creative personality, and career maturity. This subjects were the 508 middle school students living in Gwangju. Data was analyzed for frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, cronbach's ${\alpha}$, ANOVA, duncan test, and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS/PC 18.0 program. The major findings were as follows; First, the middle school students' family strengths, creative personality, and career maturity were higher than median(3.00). Second, career maturity showed significant difference according to all of family strength(family respect and affection, role sharing and problem solving, communication and family bonding, financial stability) and part of creative personality(self-conviction, perseverance/tenacity, openness of thinking, curiosity). Third, the middle school students' career maturity was influenced by self-confidence and humor. And the middle school students' career maturity was explained about 26% by these variables. The outcomes indicated that career maturity of middle school students is affected by creative personality.
The most typical deterioration of steel structures is corrosion damage. However, a method to evaluate residual load-carrying capacity of corroded steel structures is not yet established. It is difficult to check current serviceability and safety of the structures. In this study, compressive tests and finite element analyses were conducted on H-beams with corroded web. Then, the effect of corrosion damage on web crippling strength and evaluation methods of the web crippling strength are studied. Based on the tests, 4 H-beam specimens used in a subway construction site and 9 H-beam specimens with different web-thickness and damaged-height underwent compression-tests. To consider loading and supporting areas in the site, compressive loading was applied in the entire region of the upper and bottom flange in 5 H-beam specimens and applied partially on the regions of the upper and bottom flange in 8 specimens. The finite element analysis of 38 parametric model specimens simulating different corrosion damages was also carried out. From experimental and analytical results, the relationships between corrosion damages in the web and residual web crippling strength are presented. Factors web crippling strength was reduced are formulated by using residual average thickness and the standard deviation of the corroded web thickness. Also, a simple evaluation method of residual web crippling strength was proposed.

An analytical method for the simultaneous determination of pencycuron in agricultural products was established by using GC-NPD. The method was validated through the guidelines of linearity, limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ), accuracy and precision. The calibration curve of pencycuron was linear over the concentration range of 0.02-2 mg/kg with correlation coefficient of above 0.9999. The limits of detection and quantification were 0.005 and 0.02 mg/kg. Mean recoveries of pencycuron for each sample were 79.6-107.5% at the level of 0.02 mg/kg and 86.4-112.1% at the level of 0.2 mg/kg and 84.0- 104.9% at the level of 1 mg/kg. Relative standard deviation (RSD) in recoveries were all less than 5%. The intra- and inter-day precision (RSD) were 1.6-3.0% and 5.3-11.5%, respectively. The result of validation indicated that this method was accurate and sensitive assay.
Purpose. The purpose of this study was to contribute to the development of the sexual education program by examining status of Sexual Violence Consciousness and Cognition of Sexual Violence of University students Methods. The subjects were 240 University students located in J-city. Data were collected during the period from Nov. 12, 2012 to Nov. 13, 2012. For the data analysis, SPSS 12.0 K program was utilized to get frequency number, percentage, average, standard deviation and t-test. Results. The results present different degrees of man and women's cause of sexual violence cognition and consciousness were as following ; The several scores of women higher more than man parts were 'Think of the woman as a sexual target(t=3.86, p<0.001)','Men's sexual urges(t=3.98, p<0.001)', 'The low status of women in society (t=3.85, p<0.001)', 'Male-dominated society and culture(t=5.62, p<0.001)', 'Acceptance of men aggression and activism(t=5.19, p<0.001)','Weak punishment (t=7.25, p<0.001)'and Man higher more than women parts were 'overexposure of women(t=3.88, p<0.001)'. Conclusion. Results suggest that sexual education program should strategies to increase a positive Consciousness and Cognition of Sexual Violence in their education programs in order to improve Consciousness and Cognition of Sexual Violence in University students.
In the process of crossbreeding, the linkage disequilibria between the quantitative trait loci (QTL) and their linked markers were reduced gradually with increasing generations. To study the potential of QTL mapping using the crossbred population, we presented a mixed effect model that treated the mean allelic value of the different founder populations as the fixed effect and the allelic deviation from the population mean as random effect. It was assumed that there were fifty QTLs having effect on the trait variation, the population mean and variance were divided to each QTL in founder generation in our model. Only the additive effect was considered in this model for simulation. Six schemes (S1-S6) of crossbreeding were studied. The selection index was used to evaluate the synthetic breeding value of two traits of the individual in the scheme of S2, S4 and S6, and the individuals with high selection index were chosen as the parents of the next generation. Random selection was used in the scheme of S1, S3 and S5. In this study, we premised a QTL explained 40% of the genetic variance was located in a region of 20 cM by the linkage analysis previously. The log likelihood ratio (log LR) was calculated to determine the presence of a QTL at the particular chromosomal position in each of the generations from the fourth to twentieth. The profiles of log LR and the number of the highest log LR located in the region of 5, 10 and 20 cM were compared between different generations and schemes. The profiles and the correct number reduced gradually with the generations increasing in the schemes of S2, S4 and S6, but both of them increased in the schemes of S1, S3 and S5. From the results, we concluded that the crossbreeding population undergoing random selection was suitable for improving the resolution of QTL mapping. Even experiencing index selection, there was still enough variation existing within the crossbred population before the fourteenth generation that could be used to refine the location of QTL in the chromosome region.

The purpose of this study is to provided a basic administrative data for effective personnel management of nurses' by investigation their assessment and satisfaction with the job rotation and by analyzing the relation between their satisfaction and organizational commitment. Data were collected from Nov. 20 to Nov. 25, 2000 through self-reporting questionnaires taken by 280 nurses working at a university hospitals The 3 structured instruments were used for collecting the data; Questionnaires for measuring the utility and the problem of job rotation, Questionaires for measuring the satisfaction with the job rotation, and Mowday's Organizational Commitment Questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, range, Cronbach's alpha coefficients, Peason's correlation coefficients, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and chi-square test, multiple regression. The Results were as follows : 1. The supporters for regular job rotation account for 67% while the opponents to it account for 33%. The chief reason for endorsing the regular job rotation is quoted ${\lceil}$to attain more diverse job experiences${\rfloor}$, followed in order by ${\lceil}$to improve the job motivation and morale through the realization of personal needs${\rfloor}$, ${\lceil}$to place the right man in the right position${\rfloor}$. The reasons for opposing to the regular job rotation were listed in order ${\lceil}$difficulties to secure the expertise of nursing${\rfloor}$, ${\lceil}$personal needs not fully reflected in the job rotation${\rfloor}$, ${\lceil}$job rotations prompted rather by the administrative needs than by personal aptitude and ability${\rfloor}$. 2. In the assessment of job rotation, the points affirming the utility of the job rotation are $2.60({\pm}.66)$ out of possible 5 points and those admitting the problems the job rotation are $3.58({\pm}.59)$. The satisfaction with the job rotation is rated at $2.98({\pm}.55)$. 3. In the analysis into the relation between the assessment of job rotation and satisfaction with the job rotation, fairly high positive correlation is revealed between the satisfaction and utility of job rotation, whereas, considerably high negative correlation is seen between the satisfaction and problems with the job rotation(p=.000). 4. There is relatively high positive correlation between the satisfaction with the job rotation and organizational commitment(p=.000). In conclusion, the utility of on the job rotation and their satisfaction with the job rotation have positive correlation and the satisfaction with the job rotation and organizational commitment showed the positive correlation, too. Therefore, it is thought desirable to take administrative strategies well as education to improve the recognition of the job rotation's utility and to reduce the recognition of the problems with the job rotation to remain in the direction toward contributing to enhancement of the organizational commitment.

This study was aimed to be able to dedicate to the quality promotion of nursing of the nurses and the development of hospital organization by investigating interrelations between job satisfaction degree and organizational commitment of the clinical nurses. The objects of this study have been 507 nurses working in university hospital in Seoul and the materials have been collected through structured questionnaires for 14 days from Feb. 23. 1998 through March 8. The materials have been analyzed and computerized statistically with SPSS. General characteristics have been analyzed by practical number and percentage. and job satisfaction degree and organizational commitment have been analyzed by average evaluation marks and standard deviation and the relation between general characteristics and job satisfaction degree and the relation between general characteristics and organizational commitment have been analyzed by t-test or F-test(ANOVA) according to the characteristics of variable. Correlations between job satisfaction degree and organizational commitment have been analyzed by Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. The followings are the summaries of the results of the study: 1. The degree of job satisfaction of the object was 3.26 in average on the basic of 5 marks and worth area showed highest by 3.78 while wage and welfare 2.70 the lowest when analyzed 11 areas. 2. Organizational commitment of the object showed 3.24 in average on the basic of 5 marks. 3. According to the age. marital status. educational background. employment experience. experience in current department. position. types of work. department of work. wage, satisfaction about the current department, whether they wish to be transferred to the other department and whether they are transferred or not. there were significant differences in the characters of job satisfaction degree when general characteristics and job satisfaction degree have been examined. 4. According to the age. marital status. religion. educational background. employment history. position and experience in current department. types of work. department of work. wage. satisfaction about the department they are assigned. whether they wish to be transferred. Whether they are transferred or not and number of being transferred to the other department. there have been significant differences in the characters of organizational commitment when general characteristics and organizational commitment have been examined relatively. 5. Correlations between the degree of job satisfaction and organizational commitment has shown the degree of organizational commitment higher respectively when the degree of job satisfaction was higher. the degree of sanitation factor was higher and the degree of motive factor was higher (r=.73799. r=.6826. r=.6570). 6. The result of the analysis of correlations between organizational commitment and the turnover intension and job related action has shown comparatively high reverse correlations (r=.6375) between organizational commitment and turnover intension and low reverse correlations(r=.3253) between organizational commitment and job related action. Based on the above results. the study of the ways of increasing the degree of satisfaction about wage. welfare. position and stability and the supervision of the senior which showed the low degree of job satisfaction should be conducted and through the management of the degree of job satisfaction which affects to the organizational commitment, I would like to propose that the ways of increasing the sense of commitment to the hospital organization of the nurses should be studied.
The purpose of this study was to provide data on the normative values of some clinically important soft tissue dimensions for adult Korean females with aesthetically beautiful facial profiles. Lateral cephalograms of 18 Korean female models, who were selected for their well balanced and aesthetic facial profiles, were evaluated. All cephalograms were taken with the subjects in a natural head position with the teeth in occlusion and the lips at rest. The means and standard deviations were determined and presented. In addition, comparisons with the previous studies were performed The results of the present study were as follows: 1. The upper and lower lips were posteriorly located in relation to the Ricketts' E line (Upper lip to E line: -2.08, Lower lip to E line: -0.04). 2. Both lips were more posteriorly located than those in the results of previous studies on Korean females selected by normal occlusion, but more anteriorly located than in the results of studies selected on an aesthetic basis. 3. The nasolabial angle for this sample was 101.03 degrees with a standard deviation of 8.47 degrees.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the growth pattern of nasopharyx and adenoid and to obtain useful measurements for evaluating the fuction of the nasal breathing. The biennial serial cephalometric radiographs of 33 samples(19 male, 14 female) with normal occlusion from 8.5 years to 18.5 years of age were used in this study. The distances, areas and ratios on nasopharynx and adenoid were measured and analyzed in each age and sex. The results of this study might be summarized as follows ; 1. The mean value and standard deviation of each measurement was obtained in each age and sex. 2. The nasopharyngeal height and the nasopharyngeal depth increased significantly by 14.5 years of age in male and 12.5 years of age in female(p<0,05), 3. The relative nasal airway area showed the minimal value at 8.5 years of age and showed significant increase from 10.5 years to 12.5 years of age in male and from 12.5 years to 14,5 years of age in female(p<0.05). 4. In the correlation analysis between the measurements on the nasal airway and the measurement of relative nasal airway area, the measurements of Ad2-PNS, Ad2-PNS/Ho'-PNS and Upper pharynx appeared singnificant correlation with the measurement of relative nasal airway area(p<0.01).
