The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate issues and performance of development projects of Gurye Banggwang villages' key projects, especially directly or indirectly related to resident income augmentation. The agricultural products processing factory, the valley resting, the urban and rural exchange center, and the village festival have been closely selected as directly or indirectly related to the resident income. Analysis of survey of resident and two agriculture unions' members led the performance and problem of Banggwang villages' development projects. The income project has the difficulties of recruiting members, lack of professionalism of people in production and marketing of processed products, and conflict between members etc. For this reason, income projects being adopted as the comprehensive rural village development project is often negative. Compare to the other cases, Banggwang village has more reflection of the income project, and has lot of interest by policy makers whether it be pursued successfully. It is too early to evaluate a performance properly because it is the beginning of income projects and the experience are not yet being sufficient. However, the performance is appearing gradually from various sides. For example, dividend of business profits, employment opportunities and sales of agricultural products are developing increasingly. Income projects have strengthens the residents' participation and interest in comprehensive rural village development project and with securing stable funding it will help to maintain the facilities.
Purpose The development of new products in automobile parts industry plays an important role. Nowadays, automobile industry is one of the most important industries in the world, because automobile industry includes the industries of steel, machinery, electronic, etc. As a result, automobile industry embodies a country's level of development and competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between team characteristics such as communication, familiarity, and contiguity, and team performance through TMS in the process of new products development in automobile parts industry. Design/Methodology/Approach Based on real phenomenon of Korean automobile parts industry, this study tried to figure out the influence of TMS between team members for new product development on team performance. Thus, this study adopts communication, familiarity and contiguity as antecedents, and TMS with specialty, credibility and coordination as a mediating variable, and adopts team performance as a dependent variable. The data of questionnaire were collected from team managers who belong to new product development team in automobile parts firms. 171 questionnaires as data unit of group level from 80 Korean automobile parts firms were collected using face-to-face interview methods. Findings This study proved empirically that the relationship between antecedents and TMS has a positive influence, and TMS also has a positive influence on team performance. This study provides the managers an insight that automobile parts companies should pay more attention to set up TMS in order to improve higher performance between their team members for new product development of automobile parts.
High-tech industries in Taiwan exist in an environment with diverse product requirements and intense cost reduction and information integration stress. They must develop new operational directions to increase industry competitiveness. Therefore, Taiwan's high-tech industries must continue R&D and creativity, establish knowledge sharing mechanisms and improve new product development (NPD) performance. This research analyzed and explored the influences of knowledge management (KM) and knowledge sharing mechanisms introduced by Taiwan's high-tech industries on new product development performance. The relationship between knowledge management capabilities and NPD performance is studied. This research considers the intervening industry and corporate position variables. Taiwan's high-tech industries have gradually entered the era of IT region integration and application with competitive advantage creation based upon core techniques. The in-depth study of knowledge management and knowledge sharing introduced by the high-tech industry revealed double meanings in academic and practical applications. The research results showed the following: (1) the stronger the knowledge management capabilities of Taiwan's high-tech industries, the more significant the NPD performance. (2) The better the knowledge sharing mechanism in Taiwan's high-tech industries, the more significant the NPD performance. (3) Corporate scale is not necessarily the critical factor in NPD success and the influence of corporate scale on NPD performance did not show significant differences. (4) The stronger the degree of leading corporate techniques, the more significant the NPD performance.

We study empirically analyzes the relationship between the leadership styles and management strategies of executives perceived by members of small and medium venture companies through organizational performance through SPSS 24.0. The empirical results are as follows. First, the hypothesis that the strategic leadership of the one-level management team had a significant influence on the management strategy showed that strategic leadership (strategic direction, strategic control, maintaining effective organizational culture, ethical management, human resource development, competency development) The relationship between positive cost, strategy of differentiation, and strategy of concentration was positive. Second, the hypothesis 2 management strategy (cost advantage strategy, differentiation strategy, centralization strategy) was statistically significant for both organizational performance (financial performance and non-financial performance). Therefore, management strategy implemented by management acts as a factor to improve organizational performance. Therefore, the execution ability of management strategy should be strengthened. Third, hypothesis 3 (Strategic Direction, Strategic Control, Maintaining Effective Organizational Culture, Ethical Management, Human Resource Development, Competency Development) could be identified as an important role factor for financial and non-financial performance. The organizational performance of SMEs has been a key factor in the strategic leadership and management strategy implemented by management. Therefore, the establishment and implementation of various practical measures to upgrade this were continuously required.
The importance of Information technology (IT) has been growing. Thus, it is critical for firms to choose the optimal information technology development mode in order to ensure that maximum benefit is derived from IT. Despite its importance, however, there is little comprehensive research on choosing the IT development mode that firms undertake. To fill this gap, this study attempts to propose a parsimonious as well as comprehensive IT development framework based on strategic value and the uniqueness of IT resources. In addition, this study analyzes the impact of the fit between the theoretically proposed IT development mode and the actually used mode on the performance of Korean firms. This study contributes to and expands the literature on IT development modes by considering various development modes in real time. Moreover, the results serve as a stepping stone for managers who want to develop or adopt IT effectively.
In this paper, we propose a novel method which can be applied to test and verify the stabilization-tracking performance of Gun/Turret Driving System(GTDS) for Light Armed Helicopter(LAH). In real system, GTDS is connected to TADS/SMC and drived to aim at the target with 20mm gun. But each equipment is separately developed during exploratory development stage, so GTDS cannot be tested under real system state. We suggest new configuration of test system for evaluating the stabilization-tacking performance, in which TADS and SMC are replaced by vision acquisition unit and processing unit, respectively.
This paper describes the development of a test-equipment for the pre-verification of navigation performance in cluster-based AUVs (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle). In the development of an AUV, conducting hardware and software development sequentially is not efficient due to the limited research and development period. Therefore, in order to reduce the overall development time and achieve successful development results, it is essential to pre-validate the navigation system and navigation algorithms. Accordingly, this paper explains the test-equipment for pre-verification of navigation performance, and ultimately confirms the stability of the navigation system and the performance of the navigation algorithms through the analysis of five types of navigation sensor data stored during real-sea experiments. The results demonstrate that through the development and verification of the test-equipment, it is possible to shorten the overall development period and improvement of product quality in the process of developing multiple AUVs.
There were many flaw issues of reactor vessel head penetration in USA fleets. USNRC issued 10CFR50.55a to implement reactor vessel head penetration ultrasonic examination performance demonstration(PD) in US for enhancement of inspection reliability. After September 2009, all US utilities inspected their RVHP with PD qualified system. Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power Company(KHNP) have developed reactor vessel head penetration performance demonstration system for ultrasonic test to apply for pressurized light-water reactor power plants in accordance with 10CFR50.55a since September 2011. RVHP configuration surveying and analysis, code requirement analysis, and performance demonstration specimen design were performed up to this day. Fingerprinting of manufactured specimen, development of test data management program, development of operation procedure, input of flawed data, and development of final report will be performed for the next step. This paper describes the development status of the performance demonstration system for reactor vessel head penetration ultrasonic examination in Korea.
The purpose of this study is to confirm whether the task and system development process makes a significant influence on the system performance. The task is defined as a interdependency and system development process is defined as analysis, user participation and executive support. Field research was employed to empirically investigate the relationship among the variables. The finding of the study can be summarized as follows. The strict analysis under the task of high interdependency has a significant effect on the system performance. And high executive support is needed for the system performance under any level of interdependency.
Recently because the IS development project is large scale and complicated, the necessity of tools that can manage effectively smooth communications and the harmonized project between the interested parties is exposed. According to this fact, many companies are investing enough to the PMS (Project Management System) for the sake of the systematic management of the IS development project, and also this PMS is emerging as one of the indispensable tools for the successful IS development project by casting off from a auxiliary means for the past project management. However, as had been expected, whether the introduction of the PMS is possible to facilitate communications within a project team, and a main motivation that can derive individual performance and organizational performance that participated in the IS development project is induced or not are not verified still empirically and apparently. With respect to this, a survey was conducted to examine how PMS quality affected user satisfaction, communication, individual performance and project performance. The effects of the data gathered were verified by structural equation model analysis.
