  • The purpose of this research is to understand the gender identity expressed in Madonna music video texts and performances. Madonna has reconstructed the fluid identities through the variations of body, images, costumes, and attitudes . The results are as fellows; ① Her punky sexuality is to be seen the flash trash look, kitsch fashion, which reconstructs a good/bad taste, modesty/immodesty, the relations of under/outer wear using bawdy sexuality through her early Virgin tour. ② Her Heterosexuality is to be seen the glamourous look, traditional images of women, which represents the passive feminity of patriarch. ③ Her sadomasochism sexuality is to be seen the bondage look of dominatrix image, which deconstructs sexual taboos; represents sexual power. ④ Her bisexuality is to be seen androgynous look, the 3rd species look using masculinity/feminity signifier, which deconstructs the stereotypes of gender roles. ⑤ Her homosexuality is to be seen the fetish fashion by drag and lesbian, which deconstructs the dichotomy of normality/perversion; opens a possibility of women subjectivity of sexual desires.

  • This study focuses on how fashion products of our contemporary society of consumption are taking on a kitsch look, and on what kind of social and cultural meanings this phenomenon connotate. In general, kitsch is understood as an expression with a negative meanings such as aesthetic inadequacy or bad tastes. In our dairy life however kitsch has been highlighted as an another expressions of subjective beauty and gains positive meaning as almost all the people satisfy their desires through consumption of kitsch products. In order to prove the kitsch phenomenon in fashion products and social and cultural meanings, the researcher has Performed a case study on actual consumption of fashion products and the internal psychological meanings in fashion consumption. The internal psychological meanings of kitsch on consumption of fashion products are emotions and needs such as escape from reality. substitutional satisfaction, belonging confirmation, expression of individual taste, and fun, sexual amusements.

의류 표준화에 관한 연구 (Standardization of Clothing Sizing System)

  • With the advance of technology, the order-made clothes gradually give way to ready-made clothes. It is already well-known that more than 80 percentage of Japanese are choosing ready-made clothes while less than 5 persons out of 100 are spending their money and valuable time to have their clothes order-made in the United States. One of the fundamental steps to reach the system of mass production of clothes is recognized as a 'reasonable' sizing system. 'Reasonable' can be interpreted 'optimum' in the sense of minimum loss from both producers and customers. This paper desires the methodology to obtain the sizing system utilizing the human body measurement data, The suggested methodology could be extended to the sizing system for the design of other items including industrial equipments.

An Empirical Analysis of Smart Signage and Its Market Delimitation

  • This study demonstrates that ease of use, usefulness, and hedonic desires affect the intention to use smart signage, based on market delimitations. Smart signage is at an early phase of adoption and its market can be divided broadly into indoor and outdoor markets. In this study, an empirical study model was established in conjunction with the technology acceptance model (TAM), which was applied to the IT area of a smart signage map and to a hedonic model. Empirical results showed that the key hedonic attributes affecting the intention to use smart signage include information delivery for the indoor environment and emotional and entertainment content for the outdoor environment. In the future, specific guidelines can be presented to boost the usage of smart signage through an empirical study based on the identification of external factors that affect usage intention.

  • Eldery generation is a strategic purchasing consumer group in domestic fashion market for the future. The thesis of this study is that identifies needs and desires of eldery women by researching clothes purchasing behaviors and clothes selection standards. For the study, a questionnaire was used as a method of mearsurement and the eldery women in Seoul and Kyonggi were selected as a sample. Data was processed by SPSS $PC^+$ program and analyzed by using frequency, percentage, $x^2$-test and t-test. As a result of this study, clothes purchasing behaviors and clothes selection standards of eldery women can be recognized in related to age and others. A based on the results, this study is expected to assist that marketers can establish effective marketing strategy for the silver fashion business.

  • One field that the information society has recently taken much interest in and has continuously implemented is medical services. Health tourism services which emphasize today's patient-oriented management rather than the past hospital-oriented management are highly value-added. As interest in physical fitness increases in keeping with such trends of the society at large as the declining birth rate and increasing life expectancy, and the medical market is opened, the added value of medical services that attract and manage domestic and foreign patients from the global market and satisfy their diverse desires with domestic medical competitiveness such as excellent medical staff and technology is on the spotlight. Hereupon, this study intends to suggest the possibility of developing competitive domestic medical services into a highly value-added industry in keeping with changing environment.

  • Food & beverage part of nowadays hotel is steadily going up with the improvement of tourism industry and with the raise of income of the people, but some of the hotel kitchen has unchanged problem of low commercial profit and can't make improvement, so there are many kitchen problems. Especially, for the administrators of the hotels are avoiding from Korean kitchen with their cause that it makes lower profit than the other kitchen style. So, they are avoiding Korean kitchen itself, or showing minimized running. But, Korean kitchen should take off from its ways of being an assistant role or necessary evil as the part of income, by finding ways to make appropriate profit and ways to fulfill the variant desires of guests by running systematized and reasonable menu and Food cost control. This study is to suggest efficient management ways for the raise of profit and satisfaction of the guests by finding ways by analyzing the present situation of the menu and Food cost control of Korean kitchen by understanding these problems.

발주마감시간 변경을 통한 SCM Process 개선 (Improving the Efficiency of SCM Process by Rearranging the Reorder Point)

  • As competition shifts from being a company oriented one to a supply chain oriented, an effective SCM(supply chain management) becomes a necessary strategy for any successful businesses. But, it is not easy to form a successful SCM, because the individual desire of participants conflict with others. These desires affect the performance of SCM and cause waste of cost and time. Analyzing a supply chain of discount retailers, this paper eliminates idle time and improves the process with rearranging the reorder closing time(reorder point). For win-win strategy, this work reveals the reorder closing time is an important factor. It is possible to reduce cost and time on the entire SCM process by just changing the ordering time.

중고등학교 피복재료 학습효과를 높이기 위한 시험장치 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on simplified Textile testing apparatus for teaching high school students)

  • This study was to increase the experimental learning effect of textile materials in middle and high school. To this study, three kinds of simply devised apparatus were used for warmth retaining test, air permeability test and static electricity test. Two classes were chosen in a girls' high school comparing learning effect and classified the theoretical learning group and the experimental learning group. In the experimental group, a teaching plan to teach the properties of textile materials was made to use these apparatuses. The results were. 1. In the interest on the unit either the theoretical learning group or the experimental learning group were not different significantly. 2. In the items facilitation of motivation, unsatisfied desires and prevention of failure, effect of transfer and development of inquiry power, both groups were significant. 3. For the purpose of comparing the learning effect, two groups were examined for determining the level of understanding after teaching properties of textile materials. The mean value of the experimental learning group was higher than that of the theoretical learning group. The experimental learning group had more higher markers(over the point of 90) than the theoretical learning group.

  • There are some studies about user's participation to reflect their desire and value on the planning of house by this time. These were constitution of unit space focused on the apartments, which is mostly theoretical. In architectural planning process, it takes time for continuous discussion and revision between architects and users. Also changes of plan must of necessity be so because of in or outside conditions. So, user's participation has its meaning that they take part in each step and portion of process faithfully on whole architectural processes. In this case, tenants of single houses were decided and they already buy building site and lay out rules jointly. With this circumstance I've researched a kind of test the reflection on various desires and its acceptance in each steps through completion of a construction work, which is based on their participation.
