Green Design is mostly discussed in the field of industry design on the concept basis, while less attention to environmental issues have been paid by neither designer nor manufacturer, which thereby adds to the necessity of the study on Green Design methods and process to a great extent. This article through the classification and analysis of DFX, researches on which kinds of designs in the Clock products market are invested with green design concept as piloted by the principle of DFMs, DFR, DFA and DFD. DFX means design for excellence, and also "design for X", where X is a variable with many values. Under the label Design for X, a wide collection of specific design guidelines are summarized. This article conducts DFX principle assessments on Clock by selecting 30 products of Clock market varieties as the samples, and conducts the field design practices centering on those materials of the least conformity with green design tenet amidst the Framework assessment results. In the course of field practices, DFMs principle is introduced, and embodies the significance of DFX method guidance by virtue of the ultimate results of conceptual designs conducted in the guidance of theoretical basis.

In this research, I analyze cases of character packages in Japane, extract the concept of design that was loved by consumers and inmates and succeeded in marketing, and aim to establish the logic and principle. In addition, in the future, when introducing and utilizing the character package design in Korea, this research intends to make a guideline for the development of objective validity and empathic package design. After identifying the design concept and finding the principle by targeting package design of five character of Tohato which mixed various media and expanded sales, I want to find out the cause of success. Therefore, I have studied the theory and principles of enterprise and creative in product strategy through case analysis of character design concept and character package design. As a result, a design that leaving the functional side, having a story, making memories, and inducing a sense of closeness was as a successful case of renewal. In the package design, in some cases, package design execution is more important under the theoretical system according to consumer behavior analysis and Promotion of bold design concept of the design for the success of that concept, deviated from the existing principle.

If the architecture will made the focus of real user for convenience, it must be the real user, which is the multiple specified persons, more over, the most disadvantages side person will be considered that would be the convenient architecture for all. This principle of universal design has been started the latest 1950's, in USA, Sweden, Canada has considered to the disabled person in the concept of universal design, at 1960's. In case of our country, after 1988's handicapped Olympics, the induction of universal design is started to adapt in the era of architecture. Nowadays, in the group of study, their research, presentation increasing the example, which is carried out the enthusiasm of legislatiov. But we are much as far behind the senior nation, in regard to the lack of the vouluntary participating as the professional. This study is to analyze the principle, concept of Universal design from the department store, which is the convenient facilities, present the usable checklist in time of induction of Universal desigv.

We have developed a direct measurement method for gain coefficients of erbium-doped fiber amplifiers and used the coefficients for the design of flat gain EDFAs. Another simple method of designing EDFAs for WDM was realized as an application of inversion principle.

This work presents a method of optimum design for reinforced concrete building frames with rectangular cross sections. The optimization techniques used is based on the principle of divided parameters. The design variable parameters are divided into two groups, external and internal, and the optimization is also divided into external and internal procedure. This principle overcomes difficulties arising from the presence of two materials in one element, the property peculiar to reinforced concrete. Several search algorithms are tested to verify their accuracy for the external optimization. Among them pattern search algorithms has been found consistent. This work proposes a new method, modified pattern search, and a number of sample problems prove its accuracy and usefulness. Exhaustive search for all local minima in the design spaces for two sample problems has been carried out to understand the nature of the problem. The number of local minima identified is quite more than expected and it has become understood that the researcher's task in this field is to find a better local minimum if not global. The designs produced by the method preposed have been found better than those from other method, and they are in full accord with ACI Building Code Requirments(ACI 318-89).

In the case of an energy base device (EBD), which is used for treatment in dermatology, it is difficult to access it as a design, and because the range of users is narrow, there is a lack of research data considering the user's convenience. This study is a research paper that analyzes the problems and needs felt by doctors and nurses from the user's point of view of dermatology EBD, and seeks directions for improvement. After identifying the types and components of EBD through literature and observational research. Problems of each component of EBD were identified through a questionnaire on the use status and satisfaction level targeting users. After that, through a group discussion of experts, the principle of evaluating the usability of PUI design of Energy Base Devices was derived. The EBD's PUI design usability evaluation principle derived in this paper can be used as basic data to supplement the problems of EBD design, and is expected to improve the usability of EBD to be designed in the future.

The purpose of this study is understanding the principle of space construction in traditional houses in Cheju under the premise of house being the dweller's place. I studied it by shamanist interpretatiov. First I understood the quality and meaning of space by the theory of space and shamanism. As the method of study. I studied the space theory and shamanism and had a general idea of them. And then I looked upon the concept of space as residence and analyzed the traditional houses in Cheju. The conclusion of the study is this. I considered shamanism as a part of their way of life. Thus shamanism was a chief idea of Cheju people's thought, religion, and a view of the world. Naturally shamanism was the chief principle with which Cheju people constructed the residence. Because this cultural social aspect of shamanism, it is understood and used as the principle of space construct in modern architecture of Cheju.

Granular Computing has emerged as a unified and coherent framework of designing, processing, and interpretation of information granules. Information granules are formalized within various frameworks such as sets (interval mathematics), fuzzy sets, rough sets, shadowed sets, probabilities (probability density functions), to name several the most visible approaches. In spite of the apparent diversity of the existing formalisms, there are some underlying commonalities articulated in terms of the fundamentals, algorithmic developments and ensuing application domains. In this study, we introduce two pivotal concepts: a principle of justifiable granularity and a method of an optimal information allocation where information granularity is regarded as an important design asset. We show that these two concepts are relevant to various formal setups of information granularity and offer constructs supporting the design of information granules and their processing. A suite of applied studies is focused on knowledge management in which case we identify several key categories of schemes present there.
