조직지식 창출프로세스에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on the Organizational Knowledge Discovery Process)

  • This paper proposes the Organizational Knowledge Discovery Process Model (OK-DPM) as an initiative for developing a knowledge management methodology. OK-DPM is a model designed to effectively discover knowledge useful to the organization. It explains the knowledge discovery process from the conceptual level to the application level. It decomposes the organizational knowledge discovery process into 3 sub-processes; Creation, Suggestion and Validation. For each sub-process, design components are identified and possible methods for supporting each one are suggested. Also, the relationship patterns between the knowledge discovery process and knowledge type are explored. By applying OK-DPM to two real cases where the knowledge management projects are ongoing, the model was validated and revised. Even though we need to investigate with more cases to refine the OK-DPM, we found that it could provide some insights in developing the effective knowledge discovery process.

  • Database schema is designed to accumulate the literal information automatically such as reinforced concrete design specifications. Sentence of design knowledge with literal data, numerical data, and symbols have analyzed manually. Finally, the proposed method has been shown that by proper design of the database schema of knowledge information as a function of design rule.

  • The endowed privilege to an established profession acts as an important motivation related to professionalization of occupations. The established profession enjoys cognitive, legal, and economic privilege. This study analyzes the professionalization process of interior design. Specifically, the study evaluates the suitability of the body of knowledge and professional ethos(i.e., protection of citizen's health, safety, and welfare), while analyzing the professionalization of interior design in the United States. The research aims at proposing a reference point for the professionalization of Korean interior design. Utilized data include research paper, court sentencing, and reports published by related professional organizations. The study concludes that 3E's are a means of professionalization of interior design, while separating interior design from interior decorating. In addition, there is no evidence to the protection of citizen's HSW. Rather, it increases service costs and restricts the job opportunities. When the public is not persuaded, the argument related to the necessity of license for the protecting citizen's HSW can be consumed as a mere rhetoric, concealing intentions for formulating a cartel. Thus, this study proposes that the professionalization of interior design may focus on the establishment of identity and body of knowledge, which are specific to interior design.

  • Recently, as the shape and function of high-rise buildings have become more complex, engineering for reflecting the constructability in the design phase has the increasing importance. However, engineering tasks are not performed at the appropriate level and timing in most projects, which leads to inefficient work such as design changes and reworks. Hence, this study investigated the constructability knowledge, design elements, and supporting tools required to conduct engineering tasks related to temporary work at the design phase, and also analyzed the relationship between these factors using the correlation analysis. As a result, when the engineering tasks are applied in the design phase, constructability knowledge related to 'construction method and process' is the most important and the design factor related to 'layout/arrangement' should be considered as the most important factor. Based on the results of this study, the project participants can efficiently use necessary constructability knowledge during the design phase and facilitate effective decision-making and design alternatives for enhancing constructability.

  • This paper describes a research work on the development of computer-aided design system far the deep drawing & ironing of high pressure gas cylinder. An approach to the design system is based on the knowledge-based rules. Knowledge for the system is formulated from plasticity theories, handbook, experimental results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. This system has been written in AutoLISP on the AutoCAD Rl4.0 using personal computer. This system is composed of three modules which are input. process design and drawing.

  • 본 논문에서는 교량의 예비설계 단계중에서 상부구조 형식의 선정에 대한 전문가 시스템을 구축하는 것을 나타낸다. 본 시스템을 구축하기 위한 도구로는 전진추론방식 및 생산시스템으로 지식표현되는 전문가 시스템 개발용 도구인 K-CLIPS가 이용되었으며, 이 도구 위에서 구성된 지식 모듈, 데이터 베이스 및 지식 베이스로 시스템이 구성되었다. 지식 모듈은 주로 교량의 형식 선정과정을 관리하는 설계순서에 관한 지식이고, 지식 베이스 내에 있는 각 부 시스템이 심볼처리에 의해 수행되는 과정에서 데이타 베이스는 이를 지원해 주는 역할을 한다.

Development of Case-adaptation Algorithm using Genetic Algorithm and Artificial Neural Networks

  • In this research, hybrid method with case-based reasoning and rule-based reasoning is applied. Using case-based reasoning, design experts'experience and know-how are effectively represented in order to obtain a proper configuration of midship section in the initial ship design stage. Since there is not sufficient domain knowledge available to us, traditional case-adaptation algorithms cannot be applied to our problem, i.e., creating the configuration of midship section. Thus, new case-adaptation algorithms not requiring any domain knowledge are developed antral applied to our problem. Using the knowledge representation of DnV rules, rule-based reasoning can perform deductive inference in order to obtain the scantling of midship section efficiently. The results from the case-based reasoning and the rule-based reasoning are examined by comparing the results with various conventional methods. And the reasonability of our results is verified by comparing the results wish actual values from parent ship.

Knowledge-based learning for modeling concrete compressive strength using genetic programming

  • The potential of using genetic programming to predict engineering data has caught the attention of researchers in recent years. The present paper utilized weighted genetic programming (WGP), a derivative model of genetic programming (GP), to model the compressive strength of concrete. The calculation results of Abrams' laws, which are used as the design codes for calculating the compressive strength of concrete, were treated as the inputs for the genetic programming model. Therefore, knowledge of the Abrams' laws, which is not a factor of influence on common data-based learning approaches, was considered to be a potential factor affecting genetic programming models. Significant outcomes of this work include: 1) the employed design codes positively affected the prediction accuracy of modeling the compressive strength of concrete; 2) a new equation was suggested to replace the design code for predicting concrete strength; and 3) common data-based learning approaches were evolved into knowledge-based learning approaches using historical data and design codes.

  • This paper deals with the decision in vague knowledge, One method is a classic theory. That is to say, constraints and goals in the vague knowledge. Another method is the fuzzy catastrophe. If there exist two fuzzy variables, there may be a discontinuity which plays an important role in decision.
