Indonesian Muslim women's fashion design preference

  • Indonesian women have emerged as global consumers, and various studies are needed to expand the global fashion market targeting their needs. In this study, a survey was conducted to determine the fashion design preferences of Indonesian Muslim women according to demographic characteristics and religious variables. In this study, Indonesian women aged from their teens to their 40s were surveyed by questionnaire during June 2020. This yielded 301 survey responses, which were analyzed using χ2-test, t-test, ANOVA, and Duncan's multiple range test using SPSS23. The results of the study are as follows: Analysis of the demographic characteristics of Indonesian Muslim women and the degree of acceptance of fashion trends according to religious variables showed significant differences according to age, monthly income, and the extent to which they wore a hijab. Analysis of the demographic characteristics of the women and the degree of acceptance of the fitted garment according to religious variables showed significant differences depending on their age, whether they were married, their monthly income, religious faithfulness, the extent to which they wore a hijab, and the degree of acceptance of Islamic discipline. After examining the difference in Muslim women's preferred fashion images (according to demographic characteristics and religious variables), significant differences were identified according to their age, income, extent to which they wore a hijab, and the degree of Islamic discipline with regard to clothing.

학령전기 빈곤 아동의 행동문제와 관련 요인 (Preschooler's Behavior Problems and Relating Factors in Poverty Group)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between caregivers' child rearing characteristics including discipline method, child rearing confidence, attitude, burden, attachment, and cognitive stimulation and preschooler's behavior problems in poor, urban group. Method: A cross-section study design was used. Conveniently selected one hundreds and three preschool aged children and their caregivers who are under National Security Act were recruited. Data was collected using Korean Child Behavior Checklist (K-CBC) comprised of nine sub-dimensions and caregivers' self report questionnaires. Results: Caregivers' discipline method was associated with behavior problems of child. The internalizing and externalizing behavior problem scores including aggressive behavior of children who experienced spanking were significantly higher than children who did not. In addition, Caregivers' child rearing confidence also showed associations with the children's behavior problems. Child behavior problems showed positive relationships with caregivers' child rearing burden, and negative relationships with child rearing attitude, attachment, and cognitive stimulation. Conclusion: Caregivers' negative discipline methods and low child rearing confidence showed significant relationships with children's behavior problems of poor, urban children. Nurses working in primary care and community-based settings are in key positions to address this problem and improve the parenting attitude of low-income caregivers and positively affect the behavior of their children.

  • 현재까지 디자인 교육은 대학생을 위한 고등교육(Higher Education)과 실무 디자이너를 대상으로 한 재교육 프로그램을 중심으로 발전되어왔다. 이는 디자인 학문의 태동기에 학문의 정립과 디자이너로서의 사회적 위치를 확고히 하기 위하여 실행되어져야 할 우선 과제였다. 그러나 디자이너의 육성은 고등교육기관이 주도하는 전문교육에 국한될 문제가 아니다. 21세기의 경쟁력 있는 디자이너를 교육하기 위하 여는 현재까지 진행되어왔던 고등교육의 발전 뿐 아니라, 초. 중등 교과과정 속에서의 디자인 교육프로그램을 개발하여 디자인의 조기교육으로까지 디자인교육의 범위를 확대시킬 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 일반교육에서 활용되어질 수 있는 디자인 교육방법의 연구를 중심으로,‘디자인을 기초 로한 교육’의 특성과 중요성을 고찰하고, 사례연구로서 영국과 미국의 디자인 교육현황을 역사적, 프로그램의 특성별로 분석하였다. 이는 국내에서 확대되고 있는 디자인의 학문적 위상과 중요성에 맞추어, 초. 중등학교의 디자인 교육프로그램 개발을 위한 기초적 틀을 마련한 것이다.

  • Despite the advancement of knowledge and techniques, architectural design has been developed by similar method and science as the logical tool since the development of Le Corbusier's 'module'. However, in the new millenium emotional design has become a key issue and today is the turning point regarding new method for designing human space. While architecture discipline of the West focused on logic, Japan based its origin in eastern discipline has developed a unique design concept called 'metabolism' and advanced it very effectively. Since its development of the unique concept, Toyo Ito has become one of the most Influential architect in and out of Japan who devoted his design career in developing new space concept. This study is specifically focused on Ito's project by finding characteristics of his projects and analyze emotional design factors by using 5 analytical tool - experiencing the space, five senses, landmark, sequence, and scale. Ito's work between 2000-2004, such as Sendai Mediatheque, showed more visible sign of emotional design characteristics compared to the works done in 1990's. Because of the analytical studies researching those emotional design characteristics and methods, the future advancement in new space design will be possible with great success. The result proves that continuing proper analysis and research in design method will assist in approaching new space design method into more advanced realm in very efficient time period with more definite design elements to accomodate and fulfill human needs in given space.

다분야 통합환경에서의 데이터베이스 설계 연구 (A Study on the Database Design in the MDO Environment)

  • 항공기 설계는 설계 전 분야에 걸친 설계 요소들을 모두 고려한 통합적 환경에서 이루어 져야 한다. 이를 위해 각 분야간의 데이터 공유 및 일관성, 무결성, 최신성 등이 요구되며 이러한 요구사항을 만족할 수 있는 효율적인 데이터베이스의 설계가 필요하다. 데이터베이스의 설계 순기는 저장되고 관리해야 할 데이터의 분석, E-R Diagram의 작성, 테이블 사상으로 이루어진다. 본 연구에서는 상용의 Oracle 8i 데이터베이스 관리시스템을 이용하여 데이터베이스를 설계, 구축하였다. MDF(MultiDisplinary Feasible), IDF(Individual Discipline Feasible), CO(Collaborative Optimization) 등의 MDO(Multidisciplinary Design Optimization) 기법을 적용할 수 있는 데이터베이스의 설계과정을 정립하고, 간단한 수치예제와 무인전투기 최적화 설계 등의 예제를 통하여 통합환경에서의 데이터베이스 설계 방법의 타당성을 검증하였다.

구조-하중 설계를 고려한 공진화 구조 설계시스템 (Co-evolutionary Structural Design Framework: Min(Volume Minimization)-Max(Critical Load) MDO Problem of Topology Design under Uncertainty)

  • Co Evolutionary Structural Design(CESD) Framework is presented, which can deal with the load design and structural topology design simultaneously. The load design here is the exploration algorithm that finds the critical load patterns of the given structure. In general, the load pattern is a crucial factor in determining the structural topology and being selected from the experts어 intuition and experience. However, if any of the critical load patterns would be excluded during the process of problem formation, the solution structure might show inadequate performance under the load pattern. Otherwise if some reinforcement method such as safety factor method would be utilized, the solution structure could result in inefficient conservativeness. On the other hand, the CESD has the ability of automatically finding the most critical load patterns and can help the structural solution evolve into the robust design. The CESD is made up of a load design discipline and a structural topology design discipline both of which have the fully coupled relation each other. This coupling is resolved iteratively until the resultant solution can resist against all the possible load patterns and both disciplines evolve into the solution structure with the mutual help or competition. To verify the usefulness of this approach, the 10 bar truss and the jacket type offshore structure are presented. SORA(Sequential Optimization & Reliability Assessment) is adopted in CESD as a probabilistic optimization methodology, and its usefulness in decreasing the computational cost is verified also.

우주발사체 개발사업에서 신뢰성공학의 시스템엔지니어링 인터페이스 (System Engineering Interfaces of Reliability Engineering in Development of Launch Vehicle)

  • Development of launch vehicle needs a large-scale and complicated System Engineering discipline interfacing to small-quantity production with special manufacturing processes. In general, the System Engineering discipline of launch vehicle has its relationship with Production, Operations, Product Assurance and Management disciplines and its internal partitions into the functions of System Engineering Integration & Control, Requirements Engineering, Analysis, Design and Configuration and Verification. As a function of Product Assurance, reliability of launch vehicle plays an significant role in risk management, system safety, flight safety and launch certification through design assurance. Moreover, major functions of systems engineering are integrated by means of reliability in the phases of design and verification. Therefore, derailed identification of system engineering interfaces of reliability, and execution of tasks for reliability assurance is required for successful development of launch vehicle. This paper identifies specific pattern and mechanism of the interfaces between reliability and system engineering.

  • 항공기의 설계는 공력, 구조, 조정성등 여러 가지 단위 기술들을 모두 고려하여야 하며, 성능의 향상을 위해서는 각각의 단위 기술들이 보다 정확해야하며, 단위 기술들의 상호작용이 고려되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이런 단위 기술 중 항공기 성능에 가장 중요한 영향을 주는 공력과 구조를 전산유체역학(CFD)기법과 유한요소법(FEM)을 사용하여 보다 정확히 해석하고자 하였으며, 설계의 안전성을 위해 공력과 구조의 상호작용인 공탄성 효과를 고려하였다. 최적화 알고리즘으로는 전역최적해를 구하기 위해 유전 알고리즘의 일종인 PBIL 알고리즘을 사용하였으며, PBIL 알고리즘 자체를 병렬화하여 과도한 계산 시간을 줄이고자 하였다. 현재의 설계방법의 정확성과 효율성을 검증하기 위해 주어진 항공기 날개에 대하여 설계를 수행하였다.

FUNDAMENTALS AND RECENT DEVELOPMENTS OF REACTOR PHYSICS METHODS

  • As a key and core knowledge for the design of various types of nuclear reactors, the discipline of reactor physics has been advanced continually in the past six decades and has led to a very sophisticated fabric of analysis methods and computer codes in use today. Notwithstanding, the discipline faces interesting challenges from next-generation nuclear reactors and innovative new fuel designs in the coming. After presenting a brief overview of important tasks and steps involved in the nuclear design and analysis of a reactor, this article focuses on the currently-used design and analysis methods, issues and limitations, and current activities to resolve them as follows: (1) Derivation of the multi group transport equations and the multi group diffusion equations, with representative solution methods thereof. (2) Elements of modem (now almost three decades old) diffusion nodal methods. (3) Limitations of nodal methods such as transverse integration, flux reconstruction, and analysis of UO2-MOX mixed cores. Homogenization and related issues. (4) Description of the analytic function expansion nodal (AFEN) method. (5) Ongoing efforts for three-dimensional whole-core heterogeneous transport calculations and acceleration methods. (6) Elements of spatial kinetics calculation methods and coupled neutronics and thermal-hydraulics transient analysis. (7) Identification of future research and development areas in advanced reactors and Generation-IV reactors, in particular, in very high temperature gas reactor (VHTR) cores.

고속 통신망을 위한 개선된 반얀 스위치 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of Modified Banyan Switch for High Speed Communication network)

  • In this paper, we propose a new architecture of the Banyan switch for a high speed networking and the high speed parallel computer. The proposed switching network with a remodeled architecture is a newly modified Banyan network with eight input and output pots, respectively. We have analysed the maximum throughput of the revised switch. Our analyses has shown that under the uniform random traffic load, the FIFO discipline is limited to 70%. Therefore the result of the analyses shows that the results of the networking simulation with the new switch are feasible and if we adopt such as new architecture of the revised model of the Banyan switch, the hardware complexity can be reduced. The FIFO discipline has increased about 11% when we compare the switching system with the input buffer system. We have designed and verified the new switching system in VHDL.
