The design of this antenna tower on the publication had been prepared by writer in order to compare with that of towers for power transmission line or to show the differences on designs existing on their design standards. The design of this antenna tower is also featuring on the following points; (1) the height of tower is 150meters high, (2) combined steel angles are adopted besides angles, (3) the direction of 45degree wind is taken account into design, (4) the additional stresses of horizontal members located in the bending points of main posts are contemplated though these additional stressess are not shown on stress diagram.

In the Oriental Medicine, the physical constitution of a human being can be classified into five characteristic elements. The remedy based on the five elements constitution has revealed excellent clinical effects so far. Therefore, it may be worthwhile to conduct job design researches considering the five elements constitution for improving the efficiency and safety of job. In this study, we examine whether the theory can be applied for job design through the experiment by ‘Digital-type Speed Anticipation Reaction Tester’ or not and suggest the desirable direction of job design.

본 연구는 고령화 사회 진입에 따른 패러다임 변화에 맞춰 고령친화도시 디자인에 대한 사례분석을 바탕으로 고령친화도시 디자인의 방향성을 제안하기 위해 실시되었다. 이를 위해 첫째, 다각도의 문헌연구 고찰을 통해 고령화 사회의 현황에 대해 알아보고, 본 연구의 기초가 되는 고령친화도시의 이론적 개념을 정의하였다. 둘째, 고령친화도시 구축을 위해 관련 연구를 진행한 국내외 7개 도시를 선정하고, 각 도시별로 진행된 영역별 디자인 가이드라인을 분석하였다. 그 결과 고령친화도시 구축을 위해 고려되어야 할 디자인 요소는 안전성, 인지성, 접근성 3가지로 정리되었다. 고령자들을 배려한 도시환경 구축을 위해서는 고령자에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 위 3가지의 디자인 요소가 적용된 세부적인 디자인 가이드라인 수립이 필요하다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 고령친화도시 디자인을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

This study examined the characteristics of furniture design in the early Modernism that occurred in the early 20th Century through the relationship with modern arts. The furniture design of the early Modernism was established in the early 20th Century based on the simplicity and honesty of the Art and Crafts Movement and Anti-Historicism in Art Nouveau. During this period, the necessity of mass production became critical due to the radical industrialization and new social demands. In such periodic stream, the furniture design of the early modernism pursued simplicity and geometric beauty based on functionalism. The efforts to discover the fundamental structure of furniture were intensified. It was not limited to furniture design but was also exercised in the huge periodic transformation that progressed in every field of art including architecture. The Modernism art has also been connected to Cubism and spread into an abstract direction. While questioning the potential essence and progressing the study on genuine characteristics, the Modernism art tried to return things into their substantial looks and reorganize them conceptually, rather than reproducing external objects. The furniture that was secondary to a part of architecture and interior accessory transcended its decorative purpose. It pursued the structure to follow its fundamental purpose as furniture. Such tendency corresponded to the direction that Post-Modernism followed. Likewise, both art and design had the revivable and abstract characteristics based on the identical objective in ideology. For this reason, the formative and geometric characteristics of the early modernism furniture design have a mutual relationship with modern arts. Particularly, such tendency intensified and progressed through the Bauhaus in Germany. Based on such facts, this study proved that the early Modernism furniture design in the 20th Century tended to appear in common arts including the art and design according to the social demand of the huge periodic stream. Furthermore, the ideology that was adopted in art and design, as well as its formative characteristics, was examined through the mutual relationship of modern arts and design.

이 논문은 21세기의 자동차 디자인에 요구되어지는 디자인의 정신성을 씨티 커뮤터(City Commuter) 자동차를 중심으로 고찰한 것이다. 먼저 지난 한 세기의 자동차 디자인 변천에 대한 정리를 통해 자동차 조형 변화의 흐름을 정리하였다. 자동차가 발명된 이후 인간 생활의 질적 향상을 가져다준 많은 플러스 요인들이 있었음에도 불구하고 자동차로 인해 인간다운 생활에 위협을 주는 역기능이 동시에 존재하고 있음을 상기함으로서 21세기의 자동차는 더 이상 인간의 삶에 위협이 되거나 지구 환경오염의 주범이 되어서는 안 된다는 점을 강조하였다. 2000년대 초기의 자동차 개발 방향의 핵심인 복고디자인, 하이브리드 그리고 소형자동차의 개발은 과연 이러한 요구에 합당한 것인가라는 질문을 전제로 운송시스템과의 연계 수단이 될 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 가장 인간과 환경에 친화적인 컨셉트인 씨티커뮤터(City Commuter) 자동차에 대한 개발 및 연구 사례를 비교하였다. 이를 통해 환경과 자동차, 인간과 자동차의 관계성에 내재되어야 할 디자인의 정신성과 자동차의 지속 발전에 필요한 디자인 고려 사항들을 정리하였다. 본 논문은 자동차 디자인의 구체적인 스타일에 대한 방향을 제시하기보다는 자동차가 21세기에도 지속 가능한 제품으로서 인간 생활의 편익을 지속 증대시키기 위해서 환경과 인간성 회복에 대한 디자이너의 윤리와 사명이 자동차 디자인의 활동과 교육의 중심이 되어야한다는 것을 강조하기 위한 것이다.
