Various techniques and diversely designed implants have been developed to overcome anatomic limitations of the maxillary posterior alveolar bone. The OSFE (osteotome sinus floor elevation) technique has been used for maxillary sinus augmentation. Also, $Endopore^{(R)}$ implant was designed to increase the surface area by its sintered porous surface. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the survival rate of $Endopore^{(R)}$ implants placed in the posterior maxilla in association with the elevation of the sinus membrane using OSFE technique, and examine the new bone formation in the sinus. One hundred fifteen $Endopore^{(R)}$ implants in 66 patients were placed in the posterior maxilla by OSFE technique. The implants were clinically and radiographically followed up for an average of 26.3 months. Most implants were stable and radiographs showed that the bone regenerated in contact with the implants. But, 5 implants in 4 patients were removed after the prosthetic restoration and the survival rate was 95.6% during the follow-up period. The height of new bone formed in the sinus was $3.26{\pm}1.04mm$.

PURPOSE. To investigate and compare the surface roughness (SR), weight and height of monolithic zirconia (MZ), ceramometal (CM), lithium disilicate glass ceramic (LD), composite resin (CR), and their antagonistic human teeth enamel. MATERIALS AND METHODS. 32 disc shaped specimens for the four test materials (n=8) and 32 premolars were prepared and randomly divided. SR, weight and height of the materials and the antagonist enamel were recorded before and after subjecting the specimens to 240,000 wear-cycles ($49N/0.8Hz/5^{\circ}C/50^{\circ}C$). SR, height, weight, and digital microscopic qualitative evaluation were measured. RESULTS. CM ($0.23+0.08{\mu}m$) and LD ($0.68+0.16{\mu}m$) exhibited the least and highest mean difference in the SR, respectively. ANOVA revealed significance (P=.001) between the materials for the SR. Paired T-Test showed significance (P<.05) for the pre- and post- SR for all the materials. For the antagonistic enamel, no significance (P=.987) was found between the groups. However, the pre- and post- SR values of all the enamel groups were significant (P<.05). Wear cycles had significant effect on enamel weight loss against all the materials (P<.05). CR and MZ showed the lowest and highest height loss of 0.14 mm and 0.46 mm, respectively. CONCLUSION. MZ and CM are more resistant to SR against the enamel than LD and CR. Enamel worn against test materials showed similar SR. Significant variations in SR values for the tested materials (MZ, LD, CM, and CR) against the enamel were found. Wear simulation significantly affected the enamel weight loss against all the materials, and enamel antagonist against MZ and CM showed more height loss.

Anterior tooth spacing is observed by pathological tooth movement (PTM), which is common in periodontal patients. And various occlusal factors contribute to PTM, especially in the maxillary anterior region, when there is excessive occlusal force, flaring due to position problem easily occurs. Teeth with loss of periodontal support tissue can secure stability when expanding the support area through intentional splinting, and change the occlusion when restored as a fixed prosthesis. After confirming the stable occlusion through the provisional prosthesis, it can be transferred to the final prosthesis through CAD-CAM. In this case, we present a long-term stable case through accurate diagnosis and treatment of the maxillary anterior teeth that have lost interdental contact.

A patient with severe periodontitis has causative factors that cause pathological tooth movement, the occlusion is disintegrated, and the vicious cycle of worsening periodontitis is repeated. In particular, when pathological tooth movement occurs in the maxillary anterior region, the patient has an aesthetic sense of atrophy, and the quality of life was reduced. Therefore, when orthodontic treatment was added to patients with severe periodontitis, it promotes the formation of new bone, reduces periodontal cysts, and obtains clinical attachment, which leads to favorable results in prosthetic restoration, thereby enabling ideal occlusion, function and aesthetics. Periodontal treatment, orthodontic treatment, natural tooth restoration, and implant prosthesis were planned for patients with pathological tooth movement in the anterior region due to loss of occlusal support in the posterior region. As a result, an ideal restoration space was secured, a stable restoration of occlusal contact was formed, and the maxillary anterior teeth were aesthetically improved.
The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the number of occlusal contacts in centric occlusion. The 50 strictly selected subjects, who have good natural dentition and occlusion, were impressioned with Alginate Impression material, and dental stone models were madel. After transfering the models from mouth to Hanau Articulator Model H2 by means of SM type Face-Bow, condylar guidances were registered, red articulating papers($13{\mu}$ in thickness) were inserted between upper and lower posterior teeth, and the red marked points and lines were counted as occlusal contact points. 1. The number of occlusal contact points in centric occlusion were 1st Molars 2nd Molars, 2nd Premolars and 1st Premolars in order. 2. The number of occlusal contact points of right side showed comparatively much more than those of left side. 3. The number of occlusal contact points of upper in Premolar area were much more than those of lower, and in Molar area were the reverse. 4. The total number of occlusal contact points in centric occlusion were approximately 105 points.
This report describes the prosthetic treatment of a patient with multiple missing teeth. Installation of five fixtures on maxilla with sinus lift and six fixtures on mandible with ramal bone graft were performed. With implant supported all-ceramic with zirconia core using CAD/CAM technology and porcelain-fused-to-gold prosthesis, treatment with positive outcome which satisfies both functional and esthetical aspect was obtained.

Delayed eruption disorders caused by systemic or local conditions are mostly found during childhood and can be treated with orthodontic forced eruption. When the disorder is not found nor treated during childhood, however, orthodontic eruption might become a difficult option while prosthodontic restoration can be considered as an another option. Considerations for the prosthodontic treatment plan include the extent of tooth loss, interdental mesio-distal space and interarch space, and age of the patient. In this case report, oral rehabilitation of the patient with delayed eruption disorder through zirconia partial fixed prostheses for both maxilla and mandible was performed.
Purpose: The aim of the present study was to evaluate the clinical outcome of resorbable blasting media surface tapered implant. Methods: 169 Osstem$^{(R)}$ GS III dental implants in 73 patients who received implant treatments at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, were included in this study. The incidence of biological and prosthetical complications has been carefully analysed for each implant. Results: The short-term implant survival rate was 97.63%, success rate 94.7%. The prevalence of biological complications was 15.38% and the prevalence of prosthetic complications was 13.04%. The mean value of crestal bone loss was $0.28{\pm}0.57$ mm. The relationship between loading periods and marginal bone loss was small and not statistically significant. In mandible, marginal bone loss was larger than in maxilla, no statistically significant. Also, length and diameter of implant had no relationship with marginal bone loss. Conclusion: We suggest that this implant system could achieve successful and stable results.

Currently, The method to produce a brewing body for dentistry supplementation water produces a brewing body by fabrication, burying and it is heat wish in city gas and oxygen. It uses an original judgment found airplane the brewing body uses a spring of the back wait that melting temperature dissolved various alloys in by a blow pipe, and to generate centrifugal force and produces it. In addition, because it uses preheating to dissolve an alloy in general, it is hard to regulate the appropriate melting temperature of the alloy and brewing time and generates a brewing defect hereby same as gas industry and pinhole and shows the defect of the supplementation thing due to the super-heating. In this paper, We developed the high induction heating system which it could set brewing time, temperature and had durability and security,by the kind of the alloy to produce a high quality prosthetic thing brewing body.

Patients of mental disorder have more missing teeth than general population because of the difficulty of oral hygiene management. In addition, especially Down syndrome patients etc., congenital dental problems develop more frequently. Therefore, prosthetic rehabilitation treatments for missing teeth in mental disorder patients are required more urgently. In other words, a removable partial denture may be very difficult for such patients to wear and manage. So in this review article we reviewed implant therapeutic modes for mental disorder patients based on previous reports. It should be understood that implant treatments are not impossible for mental disorder patients, and if implants could be a good method that could provide them good quality care, so implant should be included in treatment plans before surgery. Before surgery it should be evaluated that patients ability to manage themselves their ability to manage themselves should be evaluated and also should be evaluated whether general anesthesia or sedative treatment is required for the treatment, and whether their cooperation is good enough.
