  • Air Wiping technique is widely used because of easy and efficient coating control in present CGL. Coaring weight is decided by nozzle header pressure, strip line speed and distance between strip and nozzle. Coating defects are results from unbalance of these factors and coating equipment calibration inaccuracy. Therefore, this study is mainly dealing with the cause of coating defects such as edge overcoating and coating deviation. The coptimum working condition is suggested by formulated coating model using collected working data. We developed two demension analysis program for air flow in nozzle and calculated dynamic pressure and air velocity with this program. The productivity and coating guality are improved by applying the result of this reserach.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the architectural device for two places to be perceived as having distinct characteristics from each other. A residence of Yi Dynasty is selected as the object appropriate for this purpose and analyzed accordingly. The result of the analysis can be presented on two demensionis one is that of the concrete form and the other is that of the abstract meaning generated by the form. It is meaningless to employ the form of the architecture of the past in today's architecture. The language of the architecture of the past must be reinterpreted into that of tody. This means understanding and expressing the meaning of the architecture of the past, using the form and materials available today. Without limiting its scope to figuring out "the architectural device for giving destinction" on the formal demension. this study tries to clarify the meaning generated by the form, on which its significance can be said to lie.

  • Splenic cysts are uncommon and classified as either primary(true) or secondary(pseudo-) depending on the presence or absence of a true epithelial lining. True cysts (epidermoid cyst) of the spleen are very rare. Three cases of splenic cysts in childhood were treated at the Yeungnam University Hospital in the last eleven years(1989-1999). Two of patients were girls. The ages at diagnosis were 7, 12 and 15 years. Abdominal ultrasonography and computerized tomography were utilized for the diagnosis. Radionuclide scanning was performed in one patient. Surgical resection(one partial splenectomy and two total splenectomies) was performed. The sizes of cysts were 4, 6.5 and gem in maximum demension.

  • In these days, according s the increase of technological development the part demension goes up for ultra-precision. It is grinding behavior that is important processing which directly influences by machining accuracy at product quality with the net shape manufacturing. In this study, by using CBN wheel an analysis carried out for workpiece's profiles and its characteristics by measuring grinding force and surface roughness. Workpiece materials were used STD11, SUS304 and STB2 varing condition of feedrate and depth of cut.

  • The determination of surface topography is believed to be extremely important in the areas of contact mechanics, adhesion and friction. In order to describe topography of various frictional surface. the wear test was carried out under different experimental conditions in dry friction. And fractal descriptors was applied to frictional surface of laser modified steel with image processing System. These descriptors to analyze surface structure are fractal dimension. Surface fractal dimension can be determined by sum of intensity difference of surface pixel. Topography of frictional surface can be effectively obtained by fractal dimensions.

  • 인터넷의 급속한 발달과 그 중요성이 날로 증가하면서 인터넷은 우리생활의 일부가 되었다. 따라서 네트워크에서 환경에서의 침입은 빠르게 증가하고 있으며 그 피해 또한 커지고 있다. 서비스 거부공격, 분산서비스거부 공격, 웜 등은 악의적인 의도로 호스트나 네트워크의 자원을 고갈 시키는등 심각한 문제를 초래하고 있다. 또한 중요한 서버의 공격으로 인해 시스템이 다운되면 서비스를 하지 못하게 됨으로 사용자에게 불편을 초래할 뿐만 아니라 막대한 비용의 손실도 발생한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 벡터를 이용하여 지역 네트워크망으로 들어오는 트래픽의 비정상 증가를 분석함으로 침입을 탐지하고 위험수위를 결정하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • Polycapillary optics are fabricated for hard X-ray waveguide. The Calculation of propagation conditions in polycapillary are conducted to obtain the focal length and spot size as well as the demension of the polycapillary optic devices. X-ray energy of 8 KeV is propagated in the polycapillary optics which the exit diameter of 2.3 mm. and 17 mm in length.

  • The beating motion of a high speed shuttleless loom is driven by cams. Two cams become one system and their shaft laid across each other. Moreover, the shape of the cams is very complex and requires high precision for successful weft insertion and good interlacing with warp yarn. The iterative contact method is developed for use in design and analysis of the driving mechanism of a disk type cam with oscillating roller follower. The optimum design is performed by utilizing a CAD program, DISKCAM. The 8th order polynomial is selected to interpolate the desired shape trajectory of the cam, the optimal shape of the cams is defined based on the demension of the follower. The kinematic motion of the beating cam mechanism is investigated. The phase angle is determined to achive harmonious cam motions

  • In 1980 and 1983, it was proved that P $D^{2}$-groups are surface groups ([2], [3]). Since then, topologists have been positively studying about P $D^{n}$ -groups (or $D^{n}$ -groups).
