천측 항법 시스템의 수직 방향 결정 (Determination of Local Vortical in Celestial Navigation Systems)

  • Determination of the local vertical is not trivial for a moving vehicle and in general will require corrections for the Earth geophysical deflection. The vehicle's local vertical can be estimated by INS integration with initial alignment in SDINS(Strap Down INS) system. In general, the INS has drift error and it cause the performance degradation. In order to compensate the drift error, GPS/INS augmented system is widely used. And in the event that GPS is denied or unavailable, celestial navigation using star tracker can be a backup navigation system especially for the military purpose. In this celestial navigation system, the vehicle's position determination can be achieved using more than two star trackers, and the accuracy of position highly depends on accuracy of local vertical direction. Modern tilt sensors or accelerometers are sensitive to the direction of gravity to arc second(or better) precision. The local gravity provides the direction orthogonal to the geoid and, appropriately corrected, toward the center of the Earth. In this paper the relationship between direction of center of the Earth and actual gravity direction caused by geophysical deflection was analyzed by using precision orbit simulation program embedded the JGM-3 geoid model. And the result was verified and evaluated with mathematical gravity vector model derived from gravitational potential of the Earth. And also for application purpose, the performance variation of pure INS navigation system was analyzed by applying precise gravity model.

Open-Loop-Onset-Point PIO 해석의 변위한계 (Handling Deflection Limit in Open-Loop-Onset-Point PIO Analysis)

  • 항공기 조종면의 시간당 변화율 한계에 의한 PIO 현상을 해석하는 기법으로 Open-Loop-Onset-Point (OLOP) 방법이 널리 이용된다. OLOP은 조종면의 변화율 한계에 의한 PIO 현상을 주원인으로 포함하고 더 나아가 조종면 구동기의 변위한계도 고려하는 데, 여기서는 이 변위 한계를 고려하는 새로운 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 새로운 기법은 독립된 구동기의 주파수 응답을 고려할 때, 기존의 OLOP 방법이 제시한 바와 달리, 변화율 한계가 시작되는 주파수가 변위 한계에 의해 더 높은 주파수로 지연되지 않는다는 사실을 인지함으로써 그 동기가 되었다. 실제로 피드백 제어 환경에서는 변화율 한계의 시작점이 오히려 더 낮은 주파수에서 일어나는데, 이는 변위 한계의 영향에 의한 제어력 감소분을 극복하기위해 제어기가 더 큰 제어 입력을 발생하기 때문이다. 본 연구는 이렇게 찾아진 변화율 시작 주파수와 변위 한계를 고려하여 OLOP 해석의 최종 단계에서 Nichols Chart 위에 변화율 시작점을 찾는 새로운 방법을 제시한다. 마지막으로 기존의 방법으로는 PIO 예측에 있어서 위험한 판단에 도달할 수 있으나, 제시된 새로운 방법으로는 올바른 예측을 할 수 있음을 보여준다.

복잡한 형상의 초기처짐을 가진 선체판의 압축최종강도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Compressive Ultimate Strength of Ship Plating with Complicated Shape of the Initial Deflection)

  • 최근 강구조물과 해양구조물에 있어서 박판 부재인 고장력강이 널리 사용되면서 좌굴이 발생할 가능성이 커지고 있다. 특히 선박구조는 상자형 박판 구조물로서 용접이나 절단등의 열 가공에 의하여 필연적으로 판부재에 초기처짐이 발생하게 된다. 이러한 초기처짐은 박판부재가 좌굴을 동반한 복잡한 비선형 거동을 나타낼 때 악영향을 미치는 요소이다. 결과적으로 선체구조물이나 해양구조물에 안정성과 정확성을 부여하기 위해서는 발생 가능한 초기처짐을 이상화 하여 2차좌굴을 고려한 초기구조설계에 반영하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 종방향 압축하중이 작용하고 네변 단순지지조건인 판에 실제 계측된 여러 가지 초기처짐형상을 적용한 유한요소 시리즈 해석을 하였다. 해석방법으로서는 범용유한요소프로그램인 ANSYS의 탄소성대변형 유한요소법을 적용하였고 해석제어는 Newton-Raphson method와 An-length method를 병용하였다.

압전필름을 이용한 복합재료 외팔보의 능동진동제어 (Active Vibration Control of a Composite Beam Using Piezoelectric Films)

  • This paper presents active control methodologies to suppress structural deflections of a composite beam using a distributed piezoelectric-film actuator and sensor. Three types of different controllers are employed to achieve vibration suppression. The controllers are established depending upon the information on the velocity components of the structrue and on the deflection magnitudes as well. They are constant-amplitude controller(CAC), constant-gain mcontroller(CGC), and constant-amplitude-gain controller(CAGC). For the minimization of the residual vibration (chattering in a settled phase), which is the practical shortcoming of the conventional CAC dur to time delay phenomenon of the hardware system, a new control algoritym CAGCis designed by selecting switching constants in an optimal manner with respect to the initial tip deflection and the applied voltage. The experimental investigations of the transient and forced vibration control for the first vibrational mode are undertaken in order to compare the suppression efficiency of each control algorithm. Moreover, simultaneous controllability of various vibrational modes through the proposed scheme is also experimentally verified by pressenting both the transfer function and the phase.

  • In recent years, WDM networks have received much attention as the Internet backbone networks because of the explosive growth of the Internet IP-based traffic. The Optical Burst Switching (OBS) has been proposed as an effective optical switching technology in the WDM networks. OBS has the advantages in 1) the high usage rate of the bandwidth, and 2) no necessity of optical buffer. However OBS has the burst-contention problem in the networks. The deflection routing is proposed as one of means to solve this problem. In this paper, we propose a new routing method of using deflection routing. In addition. we propose a QoS/CoS control method using a new routing algorithm. Finally, we show the variety of the proposed methods by computer simulations.

압력에 따른 평행박막 밸브의 자율 변형을 이용한 수동형 유량 제어기 (A Passive Flow-rate Regulator Using Pressure-dependent Autonomous Deflection of Parallel Membrane Valves)

  • We present a passive flow-rate regulator, capable to compensate inlet pressure variation and to maintain a constant flow-rate for precise liquid control. Deflection of the parallel membrane valves in the passive flowrate regulator adjusts fluidic resistance according to inlet fluid pressure without any external energy. Compared to previous passive flow-rate regulators, the present device achieves precision flow regulation functions at the lower threshold compensation pressure of 20kPa with the simpler structure. In the experimental study, the fabricated device achieves the constant flow-rate of $6.09{\pm}0.32{\mu}l/s$ over the inlet pressure range of $20{\sim}50$ kPa. The present flow-rate regulator having simple structure and lower compensation pressure level demonstrates potentials for use in integrated micropump systems.

  • Color Display Tube (CDT) used in computer monitors, consists of many components. Deflection Yoke(DY) among them supplies the vertical and horizontal magnetic fields so that the spatial trajectories of electron beams are deflected according to the synchronization signals. If the magnetic fields are not correctly formed, there will be color blurring or blooming by a mis-convergence of each beam and the color image on screen may not be clear. Therefore, in the manufacture of DY. its quality is strictly examined to get the desired convergence and the occurred mis-convergence can be cured by sticking ferrite sheets on the inner part of DY. However, because it needs expert's knowledge and experience to find the proper position of the sheet, this article introduces an intelligent controller that the knowledge-base represented by a neuro-fuzzy model is used to find the optimal position of the ferrite sheet for the convergence.

  • A LCD glass plate is supported by multi-pin and golf-tee type support. In the FEM analysis, the support condition is treated as simply supported boundary .condition. In this study, the optimization on the location of multi-simply support is conducted. The size optimization method of ANSYS 8.0 is used as the optimization tool to search for the optimal support location of LCD glass plate. In the manufacturing process, the support condition is a fatal factor of quality control of LCD production. From the results of optimization, deflection decreases 51% compared with the original model.

  • The basic design of today s rolling linear guides with rails is outlined in a French patent from 1932, it was not until the early 1970s that linear guides were commercialized. Progress with the numerical control of machine tools led to higher speed and accuracy of machines that exposed limitations of conventional sliding guides in terms of durability and response capability. As a result, rolling guides, having better high-speed performance and greater compatibility with electronics, began to be used widely. This paper examined theoretically and experimentally the influence of rail bolt tightening on the motion accuracy of linear guides. The rail of a linear guide is tightened and fixed to the base component by bolts. Naturally, the rail is an elastic body and the compression force generated by tightening the volts causes its deflection. Compromising motion accuracy, the rail deforms wavily in a longitudinal direction corresponding to the bolt pitch. The relation between rail position and deflection(sinking) amount caused by bolt tightening was analyzed through FEM analysis in this paper.

  • 전보(前報)에 이어서, 부분(部分) 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 부재(部材)의 실험결과(實驗結果)를 분석(分析)한다. 부분(部分) 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 부재(部材)는 사용하중하(使用荷重下)에서 균열의 발생을 허용(許容)하므로, 사용상태(使用狀態)의 처짐제한(制限)과 균열제한(制限)을 위하여 이들을 정확(正確)하게 예측(豫測)하는 것이 필요(必要)하다. 실험부재(實驗部材)의 하중(荷重)-처짐 관계(關係)에서 표리스트레스의 효과(效果)를 고찰(考察)하고, 각(各) 시방서(示方書)의 처짐식(式)과 실험결과(實驗結果)를 비교(比較)한다. 기왕(旣往)에 제안(提案)된 균열간격 및 균열폭 공식들과 실험부재(實驗部材)에서의 측정결과(測定結果)를 비교(比較)한다.
