  • We report the results of a multi-wavelength study in the North Ecliptic Pole (NEP) deep field and examine the far infrared-radio correlation (FIRC) for high and low redshift objects. We have found a correlation between the GMRT data at 610 MHz and the Herschel data at $250{\mu}m$ that has been used to define a spectral index. This spectral index shows no evolution against redshift. As a result of the study, we show a radio colour-infrared diagram that can be used as a redshift indicator.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a basis for exterior space improving in university campus in terms of upgrading the quality of university education environment by analysing user's cognition and physical feature about campus exterior space. For this, this study was survey six major university students in Busan city about perception of campus exterior space, and analyzes the user's cognition by using natural-language vocabulary analysis for qualitative approach. Next, this study analyzes the physical feature of campus exterior space by investigating user's intensive using spaces and preferred, non-preferred spaces in their universities, then propose the improved direction of campus exterior space by comparing the analyzed data of user's cognition and physical feature. A SPSS20 program is used for the data analysis and the sample sizes are 171 college students.

  • Eco-village is emerging as one of housing styles in the modern age. The common space in Eco-village uses environment-friendly materials while residents appear to aspire to a community. The common space in Eco-village offers a place of interchange and interaction for both visitors and residents as a transit area connecting dwelling units. It also forms the sense of community and serves as a space that builds friendly relations among residents. However, there seems to be a lack of research compare to its various roles and importance for this common space, which is an significant factor in establishing Eco-village plans. The purpose of this study is to provide research data by creating a layout drawing of Eco-village and reveal the characteristics of space boundary and practical use of common space through case studies on villages. This will serve as actual data in designing common space which would correspond to the purpose of Eco-village planning.

  • Space tourism is a growing industry sector that faces challenges of cost, risk, environmental impact, and sustainability. However, few studies address space tourism in an Asian culture, particularly in the context of artificial intelligence (AI), which is an increasingly significant topic b oth in the tourism sector and in society overall. To address the research gap, this work establishes an analytical framework which contrasts t hree varieties of space tourism using partial least squares, multi-group analysis, and fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis. It surveyed 1,000 prospective space travelers from South Korean who are eager to take part in space to urism to examine AI's role in enhancing sustainable space tourism. Findings indicate that recognizing AI benefits are crucial for sustainable on-Earth, suborbital, and orbital space tourism, particularly the latter. The study offers both conceptual and applied knowledge to enhance the sustainability of space tourism.0000

  • We constructed two test server systems for KMTNet data management. One is the photometry database server which is optimized for stable operation, and the other is the photometric data process server which is optimized for fast I/O between devices. The performances of servers and data storage units were tested using various methods. Database upload was also checked using five different methods. From tests, we concluded that the most efficient method to upload photometric data processing results to database is the use of three nodes with job scheduler under the InnoDB engine. In this study we provide the test results for prototype servers for KMTNet data management.

  • Most divide-and-conquer implementations for Delaunay triangulation utilize quad-edge or winged-edge data structure since triangles are frequently deleted and created during the merge process. How-ever, the proposed divide-and-conquer algorithm utilizes the array based data structure that is much simpler than the quad-edge data structure and requires less memory allocation. The proposed algorithm has two important features. Firstly, the information of space partitioning is represented as a permutation vector sequence in a vertices array, thus no additional data is required for the space partitioning. The permutation vector represents adaptively divided regions in two dimensions. The two-dimensional partitioning of the space is more efficient than one-dimensional partitioning in the merge process. Secondly, there is no deletion of edge in merge process and thus no bookkeeping of complex intermediate state for topology change is necessary. The algorithm is described in a compact manner with the proposed data structures and operators so that it can be easily implemented with computational efficiency.
