  • A freshwater lake water quality management system(FLAQUM) was developed to help regional manager for the water quality of a rural basin. The integrated user interface system FLAQUM written in Visual Basic, includes three subsystems such as a database management system, basin pollutant loads simulation model using SWMM model and freshwater lake water quality simulation model using WASP5 model. Pollutant load simulation model was applied to simulate the discharge and pollutant loading from the watershed, and freshwater lake water quality model was applied to analyze the changes in water quality with respect to watershed pollutant loads, and this model could be used in planning to control watershed pollutant source for water quality management. Database management system was constructed fur all input and output data processing, and it can be used to analyze statistical characteristics using constructed data. Results are displayed both graph and text for convenience of user. The results of FLAQUM application to Boryeong freshwater lake showed that the lake was in eutrophic condition. The major contribution of pollution comes from tributary No.1 and No.4, which have a large number of livestock farms. Therefore, water quality management must be focused on appropriate management of the livestock farming in the two breanchs.

  • Information is used effectively and contributes in profit creation and not only support management judgment quick but important resource to be possible recycled. The recent information systems improve enterprise's competitive power by reflection of user's various requirements and becoming big and complex for adaptation of rapidly circumstance change. Also it is trend that importance of information quality is emphasized gradually. The biggest problem in user requirement that is based on low quality data support. In case of business management is achieved by low quality information, company can not help dropping their competitive power such as company's strategy establishment, strategy achievement and management concentration breakup against competitor. Information of low quality increase time and expense to improve inaccurate data or revise and it is hard to accept correct information from specific situation. To solve these problems, we have to gain high quality data through definite comprehension, data management system establishment, and systematic data management achievement etc. Up to now, information quality and connected study were developed partially, but systematic methodology of information quality management's whole condition was not existed. Therefore, in this paper can show you how to extract process for information quality management & related evaluate factor with CMM (Capacity Maturity Mode]) 5 steps that is information warranty of quality process step. • In 2019, the pilot project to establish a record management system for administrative information datasets started in earnest under the leadership of the National Archives. Based on the results of the three-year project by 2021, the improved administrative information dataset management plan will be reflected in public records-related laws and guidelines. Through this, the administrative information dataset becomes the target of full-scale public record management. Although public records have been converted to electronic documents and even the datasets of administrative information systems have been included in full-scale public records management, research on the quality requirements of data itself as raw data constituting records is still lacking. If data quality is not guaranteed, all four properties of records will be threatened in the dataset, which is a structure of data and an aggregate of records. Moreover, if the reliability of the quality of the data of the administrative information system built by reflecting the various needs of the working departments of the institution without considering the standards of the standard records management system is insufficient, the reliability of the public records itself can not be secured. This study is based on the administrative information dataset management plan presented in the "Administrative Information Dataset Recorded Information Service and Utilization Model Study" conducted by the National Archives of Korea in 2021. A study was conducted. By referring to various data, especially public data-related policies and guides, which are being promoted across the government, we would like to derive quality evaluation requirements in terms of records management and present specific indicators. Through this, it is expected that it will be helpful for record management of administrative information dataset which will be in full swing in the future.

  • The Korean government developed an organizational maturity model for public data quality management based on international standards to evaluate the data quality management level of public organizations, However, as the model has too many indicators to apply on the site, a new model with reduced number of indicators is proposed in this paper. First, the number of processes is reduced by integrating and modifying the processes of the previous model. Second, a new maturity evaluation method is proposed based on capability levels focused on the activity, not on the process. Third, the maturity level of public data quality management is represented by five discrete levels or real values of 1 through 5. Finally, characteristics of the proposed model are compared with those of the previous model.

  • In these days of world-wide business environment, the characteristics of quality management are variety, specialty, decentralization, totality, etc. Thus nowadays quality management is demanded to incorporate these new concepts. We propose a web-bused distributed expert system for this purpose. The system consists of four expert systems for design of experiment, acceptance inspection, statistical process control and reliability management corresponding to design quality, incoming-material quality, manufacturing quality and usability quality, respectively, throughout the total product life cycle. Each distributed expert system at the horizontal level in the hierarchy carries out its own quality jobs independently. At the lower level in the hierarchy there is an expert system for measurement analysis to provide reliable data, and at the upper level, an expert system for total quality management to coordinate, integrate and make final decisions. A prototype has been developed and its application is presented.

  • A decision support system DSS-WQMRA (Decision Support System-Water Quality Management in Rural Area) was developed to help regional planners for the water quality management in a rural basin. The integrated model DSS-WQMRA, written in JAVA, includes four subsystems such as a GIS, a database, water quality simulation models and a decision model. In the system, the GIS deals with landuse and the location of pollutant sources. The database manages each data and supplies input data for various water quality simulation models. the water quality simulation model is composed of the GWLF( Generalized Watershed Loading Function), PCLM(Pollutant Loading Calculation Module) and the WASP5 model. The decision model based on mixed integer programming is designed to determine optimal costs and thus allow the selection of managemental practices to meet the water quality criteria. The methodology was tested with an example application in the Bokha River Basin, Kyunggi Province in Korea. It was proved that the integrated model DSS-WQMRA could be very useful for water quality management including the non-point source pollution in rural areas.
