National Research Data Commons aims to build a system that can be used jointly by arranging analysis resources such as computing infrastructure, software, toolkit, API, and services used for data analysis together with research data to maximize the use of research data. do. The sharing and utilization system for publications and research data in the R&D process is well known. However, the environment in which data and tightly coupled software and computing infrastructure can be shared and utilized is insignificant and there is no management system. In this study, a data model is designed to systematically manage information on digital research resources required in the data-oriented R&D research process. This will be used to register and manage digital research resource information in the National Research Data Commons Service.

In conjunction with the rapid progress of IT(information technology) an increasing amount of data are being generated. The amount of new data is so big and the type of new data generated from clients or sensor devices needed to be in ubiquitous environment is so various that it is hard to manage and control them. Especially data to be occurred in ubiquitous environment are generated through PDA(personal digital assistant) smart phone, mobile device or sensor units etc. Therefore, to manage and control them generated from ubiquitous devices for decision making, we can use data warehouse as an integrated storage. A data warehouse integrates and aggregates data of several different DBMS into one DBMS. Also the updated data from source data have to be effectively propagated to the data warehouse. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed a mode) for an exact and efficient data management methodology in new IT paradigm environment, ubiquitous computing environment, to apply updated data on the warehouse to make decision. We also show brief result compared to conventional methodology.

Objectives: The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between diabetes mellitus and oral disease in the Korea adults by using the representative data of Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) V. Methods: Using data from a cross-sectional survey of Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey V. The subjects were 5,602 adults over 19 years old. The survey data and the examination data are used for the independent variables. KNHANES included health status, nutrition survey, and oral examination. The health status was obtained by a self-reported questionnaire of the study subjects and direct interview was carried out on economic status, prevalence rate, and use of medical services. Results: The regular dental checkup of diabetes patients was significantly lower than the general population. Regular dental visits allow adults to receive early diagnosis and obtain restorative care at the first visit. The regular annual oral examination is very important to prevent and manage the chronic diseases including diabetes mellitus. Conclusions: Diabetes mellitus can be fully prevented and managed by the regular annual dental checkup. The establishment of the regular dental checkup system can prevent and manage the complication due to diabetes mellitus and other chronic diseases.

Data acquired about 53 gigabyte per a naval vessel is massive, expensive and impossible to be retested in a underwater acoustic measurement. So, it is required to manage systematically. In this paper, we mention MUADS (Massive Underwater Acoustic Database System) that was developed to store a long time, manage systematically and supply raw data and analyzed data. we analyze client/server performance based on 6003 input data individually in our MUADS that Unix server having a massive DC-jukebox and Windows clients.

Of the rapid development of modem civilization development is one of the IT industry. The Network is the root of the discrete industry. Most of the Protocol is used by LAN and the TCP / IP. In addition, all devices must be independent to the operating system with the ability to manage the operation and stability in terms of exactly how the transmission of Data is gonna work pass. And transmission occurs in the middle of the Noise and the device is available to manage the power. Noise in the power of the railway to ensure the efficient transfer of Data is by blocking. Also, by presenting the entire system's operational safety should be guaranteed the safety of the railway.

Objectives: This study was performed to develop the indicators for national surveillance of chronic disease, which is a governmental concern to manage the chronic disease for older persons. It is necessary that chronic disease surveillance system needs to be made in Korea for effective management of chronic diseases. With the system, we know the prevalence and incidence of chronic diseases, observe the trend of utilization for caring the chronic diseases, and analyze the behavior change for prevention of chronic diseases. Methods: This study was carried out by analyzing the data by which the indicators was produced, by reviewing how the United States made the indicators. By benchmarking the United States, the sources of data of the national surveillance indicators for chronic diseases in Korea were compared. Results: In this study, the most significant indicators were identified and proposed to improve the surveillance indicators by changing the sources of data. These findings warrant further development of the health policy for the chronic disease prevention and establishment of the chronic disease surveillance system. Conclusions: The results of this study can be used to develop national surveillance indicators to manage the chronic diseases and can be used as basic data to develop community health programs.

The purpose of this study is to propose a W3C standard, DCAT, to manage and service dataset that is becoming increasingly important as new knowledge information resources. To do this, we first analyzed the class and properties of the four core classes of DCAT. In addition, I modeled and presented a system that can manage and service various data sets based on DCAT in digital library. The system is divided into source data, data set management, linked data connection, and user service. Especially, the DCAT mapping function is suggested in dataset management. This feature can ensure interoperability of various datasets.

Data Grid is a kind of Grid computing provides the cooperative environment through the distributed data sharing, and can manage the massive data easily and efficiently. We designed and implemented Globus Toolkit4 (GT4) based database access and integration service (GDAIS). This service was implemented as Grid service for run on the GT4 which is Grid middleware. And it provides functions which are automatic registration of database in virtual organization, distributed query service, and the unified user interface. Also this system can use components which are provided from GT4. Therefore it can improve the efficiency to distribute and manage databases, can easily access and integrate of the distributed heterogeneous data in Grid environments.

One of the fundamental, important preconditions for effective teaching of geography is to collect a variety of picture data available for class and to manage the data systematically. The purpose of this study is to present one method about how to supply basic picture data available for class of Korean geography for the high school program to teachers in service and how to collect, manage and utilize the data. A total of 233 picture data related to contents of the textbook of Korean Geography have been gathered through this study, and a database has been constructed for the data. Directories were generated for individual units of the textbook, and the collected picture data was stored in the image file of each directory. This data was recorded in a CD and attached as an appendix. Since the primary purpose of this study is to suggest one method, the picture data in a database for the present study is just a fraction of lots of data available for class of Korean geography. If the user persistently enlarges and manages data based on the results of this study, the data will become a good instructional aid. The picture data can be printed over the transparent film and used for class by using the overhead protector (OHP), or it can be also used as a remote self-study tool through the computer telecommunications network (e.g., LAN or INTERNET. etc,). Most desirable, however, is to develop teachers' own method by taking account of separate units of the textbook or diverse educational environments.
