염색체 12번 단완의 중복(첨가)는 매우 드문 질환이며 선천성 기형과 발육 장애를 동반하는 것으로 생각된다. 저자들이 경험한 증례는 다발성 이형성 특색과 선천성 기형을 가지고 태어난 남아로 핵형은 46,XY,add(12) (p13.3)이었다. 출생 시 자궁내 성장부진과 소두증, 소하악증, 구개열, 낮은 변형 귀와 같은 비정상 두개 안면소견을 보였으며, 소음경증, 양발의 rocker bottom 변형 소견을 보였다. 추후 확인한 검사에서 심장 및 신장기형, 신경성 난청 등의 다발성 기형을 보였으며 이후 경련성 질환과 발달 지연 소견으로 외래에서 추적 관찰중이다. 염색체 12번의 첨가에 관련된 증례를 경험하였기에 저자들은 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Familial isolated primary hyperparathyroidism(FIPH) is associated with multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1) syndrome, primary hyperparathyroidism accompanied by jaw-tumor syndrome, and familial hypocalciuric hypercalcemia. FIPH may be an early stage of MEN1 or an allelic variant of MEN1. Thymic carcinoid tumor is a rare tumor in MEN1 syndrome. Here, the authors report the case of a 40-year-old man diagnosed with recurrent thymic carcinoid tumor and FIPH. Both the patient and his elder sister had been previously diagnosed to have FIPH with a novel frameshift mutation in the MEN1 gene. Initially, the patient underwent thymectomy because of an incidental finding of a mediastinal mass in his chest X-ray, and had remained asymptomatic over the following 4 years. Pancreas computed tomography conducted to evaluate MEN1 syndrome revealed anterior and middle mediastinal masses, and resultantly, massive mass excision was performed. Histological findings disclosed atypical carcinoids with infiltrative margins. In view of the thymic carcinoid tumor relapse that occurred in this patient, the authors recommend that regular pancreas and pituitary imaging studies be conducted for FIPH associated with a MEN1 gene mutation.

Objectives: Spatholobi Caulis is the stem of Spatholobus suberectus Dunn., which has been used for treating menstrual disorders, anemia, and rheumatic arthralgia in traditional Oriental medicine, This study was conducted to evaluate the inhibitory effects of Spatholobi Caulis extract (SCE) on the production of nitric oxide (NO) and pro-inflammatory cytokines in LPS-activated Raw264,7 cells. Methods : Cell viability was determined by MIT assay. Relative levels of NO were measured with Griess reagent and pro-inflammatory cytokines were detected by ELISA Expression of iNOS and COX-2 proteins were determined by western blotting. Results : NO production and iNOS expression were increased by incubation with LPS for 24 h. However, the augmented NO was reduced by SCE in a dose-dependent manner. Expressions of iNOS and COX-2 were inhibited by the treatment with SCE, SCE also suppressed the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-1beta and IL-6. Conclusions : These results indicate that the MeOH extract of Spatholobi Caulis warrant further development as an anti-inflammatory agent for the treatment of Gram-negative bacterial infections.

본 연구는 중앙아시아국가들과 대구·경북 지역의 무역활성화를 위한 방안을 제시하기 위함을 목적으로 한다. 새로운 신흥 시장으로 성장하고 있는 중앙아시아지역과 현재의 교역 현황을 분석하였다. 또한 중력모형분석을 통하여 중앙아시아 지역의 국제화가 교역량 증가에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 사실을 입증하였다. 이를 바탕으로 교역활성화를 위한 국가적 정책 수립과 민간차원에서 접근해야할 방법에 대하여 제시하였다. 또한 대구·경북 지역의 교역 활성화를 위해 지역차원에서 이루어져야 할 해결책에 대하여 논의하였다.

Through data analysis using the meteorological data during 40 years(1961∼2000) for 2 stations(Daegu and Chupungnyong), we studied the present condition and long-term trends in urban climatic environments of Daegu. It was found that there was about 1.5$^{\circ}C$ rise in annual mean temperature of Daegu from 1961 to 2000. On the other hand, that of Chupungnyung was not more than 0.4$^{\circ}C$ for the same period. The regional disparity in temperature changes has been caused by the difference of urban effects on climate between two regions. In particular, the urban warming appears more significant in winter season. There was about 3$^{\circ}C$ rise in annual mean daily minimum temperature of winter season(Dec.∼Feb.) in Daegu. As the result, the number of winter days continuously decreased from 115 days(1961) to 75 days(2000). The long-term trends of relative humidity were also studied to exame the effects of urbanization on climate in Daegu. It was found that there was about 7% decrease in relative humidity of Daegu during past 40 years(1961∼2000). On the other side, the decrease of Chupungnyung was not more than 2% for the same period. The long-term trends of the other climatic factors(fog days, tropical night days, etc) were also studied in this study.

Objective : The clinic study or report about Oriental Medical treatment about osteonecrosis is very insufficient. Therefore, we report a case about a sequela of operation of talus osteonecrosis treated by Oriental Medical treatments. Methods : The patient was managed by bee venom and Carthami Flos Herbal-Acupuncture, Sa-am and body acupucture, moxibustion, physical theraphy and herbal medicine. We evaluated the patient through Visual Analogue Scale(VAS). Results : After 25 days of treatment, the patient showed that clinical symptoms was decreased and VAS changed from 10 to 2. Conclusion : In this case, Oriental Medical treatments for a sequela of operation of talus osteonecrosis was effective. But further studies are required to confirm the effect of these methods.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to check diagnostic performance of infrared thermography for patients with vascular claudication. Methods : 3 patients with vascular claudication were diagnosed with Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging(DITI) and compared the relative temperature difference between the right and left. Results : Symptomatic legs showed significant low body temperature and at the very site patients complained of pain on, the body temperature differed distinctly between the right and left. Conclusions : Infrared thermographic diagnosis with clinical symptoms may be helpful in diagnosing suspected vascular claudication.

본 실험에서는 대향 타겟식 스퍼터링 (face target sputtering, FTS) 장비를 사용하여 플렉서블 디스플레이용 poly ethylene naphthalate (PEN) 플라스틱 기판 위에 보호층으로 사용된 $ZrO_2$ 박막의 특성들에 대해 연구하였다. FTS에 의해 3 시간동안 증착된 $ZrO_2$ 박막의 기판 온도는 $69^{\circ}C$ 로 낮은 증착 온도를 나타내었으며, 이는 유리전이온도가 낮은 PEN 과 같은 플라스틱 기판위에 박막 증착시 적용하기에 적합하다. 제작된 $ZrO_2$ 박막에서 기판 중심으로부터 거리의 함수로 측정된 박막의 두께 차이는 약 4.5%로 매우 균일한 두께를 갖는 것으로 측정되었다.

CuInGa 전구체를 여러 분위기에서 급속 열처리 공정 (rapid thermal processing; RTP)을 이용하여 셀렌화하여 CuInGaSe 박막을 제작하였다. 공정조건은 각각 진공상태, 아르곤 가스 유동 상압상태, 아르곤 분위기 상압밀폐에서 덮개 유리를 사용한 상태 및 아르곤 밀폐상압에서 추가로 Se을 공급한 상태이었다. 제작된 CuInGaSe의 특성을 ICP 측정을 통하여 분석하였다. 열처리 조건에서 시스템이 밀폐상태에 가까울수록 Se 증기압이 높을수록 CuInGaSe 박막의 Se 함량이 증가하였다. 아르곤 분위기 상압 밀폐상태에서 제작된 CuInGaSe 박막을 이용하여 제작한 태양전지의 효율은 9.6%이었다.

Finally, the possibility of selection & attraction from many dental company. Then if Daegu Kyungbuk would be select & supported of dental materials Industrial special region, it can be think that will empower local economy, further national constitutional power. So we propose following three points, 1st. the deeper study on righteous of Daegu Kyungbuk dental materials industrial specialization. 2nd. investment on R & D of the region dental materials industrial. final, the support of venture circle.
