Development of Smart Phone App. Contents for 3D Sign Language Education (3D 수화교육 스마트폰 앱콘텐츠 개발)

  • In this paper, we develope the smart phone App. contents of 3D sign language to widen the opportunity of the korean sign language education for the hearing-impaired and normal people. Especially, we propose the sign language conversion algorithm that automatically transform the structure of Korean phrases to the structure of the sign language. Also, we implement the 3D sign language animation DB using motion capture system and data glove for acquiring the natural motions. Finally, UNITY 3D engine is used for the realtime 3D rendering of sign language motion. We are distributing the proposed App. with 3D sign language DB of 1,300 words to the iPhone App. store and Android App. store.

  • Cell-free extracts of Streptomyces neyagawaensis SL-387 grown on a chemically defined medium supplemented with DL-3-amino-3-phenylpropionic acid (APP) produced N-acetyl-APP (Ac-APP) in the presence of APP and acetyl coenzyme A. The APP obtained by acid hydrolysis of the Ac-APP was D-configuration: $[\alpha]_D+6.5^{\circ}(H_2O)\;at\;20^{\circ}C$, optical purity 92% enantiomeric excesses (ee). These results suggest that an N-acetyltransferase exists in the cell-free extract as a novel enzyme with specificity for D-APP.

  • The demand for map applications in both Web and mobile environments has been rapidly increased with the population of Web and smart phone usage. Web-based map applications are mostly developed on such environments as ArcGIS and MapServer and mobile map applications are developed on such API levels as Google Maps and Yahoo Maps. But many parts of map applications are still constructed by coding because these environments don't support high level of automation. Our MapAppGen that we have designed and implemented enhances the Web-based map application productivity by generating the map related modules that can be applied to the Drupal that is one of popular content management systems(CMS's). Comparing the applications that are constructed by the Drupal-supported GMap or NodeMap, the applications that are constructed by MapAppGen provide information on not only the interested geographical feature but also its related geographical features. MapAppGen uses Google Maps API and Drupal is a module-based system that supports the creation, composition and management of contents. We are now working on automatic generation of mobile map applications with MapAppGen.

  • In the rapidly changing mobile app market, it is crucial to develop a good idea quickly and receive its market evaluation. For a small-sized company, however, it is very challenging to rapidly develop and deploy their products in response to highly fragmented mobile environments. This article demonstrates that our integrated development environment using both React Native and Unity3D when developing a mobile app achieves a high level of functionality and performance requirements successfully. Moreover, this integrated environment helps reduce development costs and shorten development time.

  • Nevertheless 3D printer is propagated fast, it is difficult for us of using 3D printer at the same time because of 3D printer's slow velocity. Existing solution is to print using SD card which moves files and on PC but this method is spend too much time and can not be showed status of printing. Yet we have no 3D printer software solution which is controlled and printed remotely. Therefore, this 3D printer software solution makes 3D printer be connected on internet networks and selected to use it on smart App. And it is controlled and printed remotely. In my paper, to build an Android App. which can execute these functions, an effective analysis & design using UML and implementation method will be presented.

And major mobile companies in Korea are following the Apple by opening open markets to distribute software products running on their mobile devices. In this paper, we describe the development of an action game for iPod 'Hexa-Samkukgi'. The game is developed using Cocos2d engine.

  • Laboratory column experiments for simultaneous removal of Cd and Cr(VI) are conducted using newly developed material, referred to as Fe-loaded zeolite, which has both reduction ability of iron and ion exchange ability of zeolite. Breakthrough curves were obtained from each column experiment, and described with advection-dispersion equation. Apparent parameters including $K_{app}\;and\;D_{app}$ were newly introduced for effectively describing the Cr(VI) breakthrough curve. $K_{app}$ decreased with increasing initial contaminant concentration and with decreasing flow rates. Whereas, $D_{app}$ were not significantly affected by initial contaminant concentration or flow rate.

  • In this paper, the problems of the conventional special-purpose array processor such as the deficiency of flexibility have been investigated. Then, a new modified methodology has been suggested and applied to obtain the common solution of the three typical App algorithms like SP(Shortest Path), TC(Transitive Closure), and MST(Minimun Spanning Tree) among the various APP algorithms using the similar method to obtain the solution. In the newly proposed APP parallel algorithm, real-time Processing is possible, without the structure enhancement and the functional restriction. In addition, we design 2-demensional bit-parallel low-triangular systolic array processor and the 1-PE in detail. For its evaluation, we consider its computational complexity according to bit-processing method and describe relationship of total chip size and execution time. Therefore, the proposed processor obtains, on which a large data inputs in real-time, 3n-4 execution time which is optimal o(n) time complexity, o(n$^{2}$) space complexity which is the number of total gate and pipeline period rate is one.

  • Apx toxins are a virulent factor of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (App). At least four genes, apxC, apxA, apxB, and apxD, are involved in the release of Apx toxins from App. apxA encodes Apx toxins, whereas apxB and apxD encode exporters. Some serotypes of App such as serotype 2 retain apxIBD, apxIICA, and apxIIICABD. Although the specificity of the ApxIB/ApxID exporter to ApxII has been established in those serotypes, that to ApxIII is under-studied. We constructed an apxIB- and apxID-lacking mutant strain of the App serotype 2 to study whether the ApxIB/ApxID exporter is capable of secreting both ApxII and ApxIII toxins.
