In this paper, we propose a collaborative multimedia authoring system. Our authoring system represents a multimedia presentation in a 3D coordinate system. One axis represents the traditional timeline information (T-zone), and the other two axes represent spatial coordinates (XY-zone). Our system represents a visual media objects as a 3D parallelepipeds and audio media objects as cylinders. This interface allows for simultaneous authoring and manipulation of both the temporal and the spatial aspects of a presentation. Using our system, users can design multimedia presentations collaboratively in the unified spatio-temporal space while freely traversing the spatial domain and the temporal domain without changing the context of authoring. In addition, we suggest an efficient mechanism of concurrency control for shared objects generated by our collaborative writing system. The mechanism is mainly based on the user awareness, the multiple versions, and the access permission of shared objects. Our concurrency control mechanism is designed to keep data consistency by minimizing the collision due to the delay or the failure of network communication and to allow maximum responsiveness for users using optimistic concurrency control. Also, the mechanism maximize the responsiveness by refining the locking granularity and applying different concurrency control mechanisms to each.
The composition of trace materials in domestic circulated LPG are determined. The sampling points are two cylinders of LPG cylinder re-inspection center, six vaporizer of LPG-supplying group facilities, and the compressed oil from one LPG station. In the trace materials from cylinder of LPG cylinder-reinspection center, alkene and diene derivative (No. of carbon ${\leq}9),$ aromatic compounds, and tarry chemicals(No. of carbon ${\geq}10)$ are 1.5~39.9%, 0.7%, 57.8~96.0%, respectively. While in the trace materials from LPG-supplying group facilities and in the oil from LPG station, tarry chemicals(No. of carbon>10) exceed 96.6%. Nine samples are classified into three clusters. One cluster is the sample of SE company cylinder-reinspection center(Euclidian distance between S company LPG cylinder-reinspection center and SE company cylinder-reinspection center=2.11), the other is the sample of SE company LPG cylinder-reinspection center(Euclidian distance between from samples of LPG-supplying group facilities including compressed oil from LPG station=0.110) the third is the samples of LPG-supplying group facilities(Euclidian distances among them<0.075). The compositions of samples from LPG-supplying group facilities are similar to those of oil from LPG station. Furthermore densities of samples from LPG-supplying group facilities and compressed oil in LPG station are 0.873, 0.873 [0.00798 (99% confidence limits) respectively. It was presumed that tarry chemicals had been leached from the compressed oil of LPG supplying facilities.
This study evaluated the shear bond properties of IPS Empress glass ceramic to enamel and dentin surfaces with three ceramic surface treatments, and three resin cements. The influence of thermocycling was also investigated. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of resin cements, ceramic surface treatments, and thermocycling on shear bond properties. Ninety freshly extracted, noncarious human molars were selected for this study. The surface treatments of ceramic were etching <5.0% hydrofluoric acid, application of silane coupling agents(Tokuso Ceramic Primer, Clearfil porcelain bond, Monobond-S), and the combination of the two methods. Empress cylinders were bonded to enamel and dentin surfaces with three kinds of resin cements(Bistite resin cement, Panavia 21, Variolink). The specimens were aged in $37^{\circ}C$ distilled water for 24 hours. Half of the specimens were then thermocycled 500times between $5^{\circ}C$ and $55^{\circ}C$ with a dwell time of 15 seconds. Each specimen was debonded in shear mode and measured shear bond properties by using the universal testing machine(Zwick 020, Germany). The data were analyzed by SPSS/PC+(one-way ANOVA, Scheffe' s test and t-test). The results were as follows : 1. Without thermocyling, there was significant difference of shear bond strength to enamel surface between Bistite Resin Cement and Panavia 21 in case of etched and silane-treatment(p<0.05). 2. Without thermocyling, the shear bond strength of a group treated with silane and etching was significantly higher than that of a group treated with silane or etching with the application of Panavia 21 and Variolink(p<0.05). 3. A group treated with etching with the application of Variolink only showed a decrease of shear bond strength after thermocycling(p<0.05).

In general, simple fluid added mass method is used for the seismic and vibration analysis of the immersed structure to consider the fluid-structure interaction effect. Actually, the structural response of the immersed structure can be affected by both the fluid added mass and damping caused by the fluid viscosity. These variables appeared as a consistent matrix form with the coupling terms. In this paper, finite element formula for the inviscid fluid case and viscous fluid case are derived from the linearized Navier Stoke's equations. Using the finite element program developed in this paper, the analyses of fluid added mass and damping for the hexagon core structure of the liquid metal reactor are carried out to investigate the effect of fluid viscosity with variation of the fluid gap and Reynolds number. From the analysis results, it is verified that the viscosity significantly affects the fluid added mass and damping as the fluid gap size decrease. From the analysis results of eccentricity effect on the fluid added mass and damping of the concentric cylinders, the fluid added mass increase as the eccentricity increases, however the fluid damping increases only when the eccentricity is very severe.
In the course of anthracite briquet combustion, air draft is usually controlled to continue burning of definite amount of briquet in the conventional hollow clay cylinder with air inlet hole open for given time, so that a large amount of CO tends to be produced. Therefore, it is necessary to establish an improved combustion process to depress the yielding rate of CO and for this purpose, we performed a basic experiment in which combustion rate of CO was measured in the mixture of $N_2, O_2 $and CO gas with or without the presence charcoal at the various temperature. The observed results showed that the burning temperature of CO is about 680${\sim}700^{\circ}C$, further burning rate of it was increased with increasing the amount of draft. From these facts, longer combustion time and low CO generation are thus contradictory to each other and it has been long desired to make those two compatible somehow. The purpose of the present investigation lies in designing an effective new briquet stove to meet the above requirements. The essential feature of the new briquet stove consisted in the use of two hollow iron cylinders with different inside diameter. A cylindrical air jacket thus formed served as a path through which small amount of secondary air run from the bottom of the stove to the upper vent holes. Heat exchange occurred between the upgoing secondary air and the burning briquet, which lowered the combustion temperature of the briquet. The results observed were selfevident as anticipated. It was confirmed that the combustion time was increased tolerably due to the heat loss from the combustion zone and that CO in the flue gas was reoxidized at the upper portion of the stove by the upgoing hot secondary air. By this reoxidation reaction the concentration of CO in the flue gas was found to be about 1/20 of that in case the conventional clay cylinder was used as briquet jacket.
As many consumers prefer good quality food, farms have used various facilities to cultivate products for satisfying their desires. Among them, the most representative facilities are plastic and glass multi-span greenhouse. The height of both plastic greenhouse and glass greenhouse is around three meters high in Korea. As a result, the crop productivity is limited. The solution is to increase the height of the greenhouses to improve the greenhouses' environment. The device for raising columns consists of a stop device, a pneumatic cylinder, and a vertical member. Pneumatic cylinders were designed with a diameter of 160 mm and a stroke length of 50 mm, taking into consideration the safety factor of 1.5. In addition, the air flow was controlled by nozzle to achieve a time of less than 30 seconds per stroke. It was calculated that $21.5L{\cdot}min^{-1}$ of air was needed to complete in less than 30 seconds. Accordingly, the diameter of the nozzle is designed to be 0.5 mm. When the pressure was 0.9 MPa, the average raising force was 13,805N, which was close to the calculated value of 15,612N. The field test results show that any inconsistency in the row columns was not generated. and that it is considered applicable to the actual glass and plastic greenhouses.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) isolation by the magnetic-activated cell sorting (MACS) method in tendon tissue-derived cells compared to the colony picking method for isolation of MSCs by picking colony-forming cells. Materials and Methods: Human tendon-derived cells were isolated by enzyme digestion using normal tendon tissues from three donors. We used the magnetic kit and well-known MSC markers (CD90 or CD105) to isolate MSCs in tendon-derived cells using MACS. Cloning cylinders were used to isolate colony-forming cells having MSC characteristics in tendon-derived cells. Colony-forming unit-fibroblast (CFU-F) assay was used to evaluate the self-renewal capacity of cells isolated using the colony picking method or MACS. For comparison of differentiation potentials into osteogenic or adipogenic lineage between two groups, alizarin red S and oil red O staining were performed at 14 days after induction of differentiation in vitro. Results: Flow cytometry results showed that early passage tendon-derived cells expressed CD44 in 99.13%, CD90 in 56.51%, and CD105 in 86.19%. In the CFU-F assay, CD90+ or CD105+ cells isolated with MACS showed larger colony formation in size than cells isolated using the colony picking method. We also observed that CD90+ or CD105+ cells were constantly differentiated into both osteogenic and adipogenic lineages in cells from all donors, whereas cells isolated using the colony picking method were heterogeneous in differentiation potentials to the osteogenic and adipogenic lineages. Conclusion: CD90+ or CD105+ cells isolated using MACS showed superior MSC characteristics in the self-renewal and multi-differentiation capacities compared with cells isolated using the colony picking method.
This study compared the microshear bond strength $({\mu}SBS)$ to end and side of enamel rod bonded by four adhesives including two total etch adhesives and two self-etch adhesives. Crown segments of extracted human molars were cut mesiodistally. The outer buccal or lingual surface was used as specimens cutting the ends of enamel rods, and inner slabs used as specimens cutting the sides of enamel rods. They were assigned to four groups by used adhesives: Group 1 (All-Bond 2), Group 2 (Single Bond), Group 3 (Tyrian SPE/One-Step Plus), Group 4 (Adper Prompt L-Pop). After each adhesive was applied to enamel surface, three composite cylinders were adhered to it of each specimen using Tygon tube. After storage in distilled water for 24 hours, the bonded specimens were subjected to ${\mu}SBS$ testing with a crosshead speed of 1 mm/minute. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The $({\mu}SBS)$ of Group 2 $(16.50\pm2.31 MPa)$ and Group 4 $(15.83\pm2.33 MPa)$ to the end of enamel prism was significantly higher than that of Group 1 $(11.93\pm2.25 MPa)$ and Group 3 $(11.97\pm2.05 MPa)$ (p<0.05). 2. The $({\mu}SBS)$ of Group 2 $(13.43\pm2.93 MPa)$ to the side of enamel prism was significantly higher than that of Group 1 $(8.64\pm1.53 MPa)$, Group 3 $(9.69\pm1.80 MPa)$, and Group 4 $(10.56 \pm1.75 MPa)$ (p<0.05), 3. The mean $({\mu}SBS)$ to the end of enamel rod was significantly higher than that to the side of enamel rod in all group (p<0.05).

Impact on cylindrical surface caused by plunging breaking waves is investigated experimentally. The breaking waves are generated in a wave flume by decreasing the wave maker frequencies linearly and focusing the generated wave components at one specific location. The breaking wave packets are based on constant wave steepness spectrum. Three inclination angles of cylinder are applied to examine the effect of contact angle between cylinder and front surface of breaking waves. Also, the effect of cylinder diameter on pressure distribution and its peak value is investigated by adopting three cylinders with different diameters. The longitudinal location of cylinder is slightly moved in eight different points to find out a probable maximum value of impact pressure. The pressures and total force on cylinder surface are measured by piezo-electric pressure sensors and 3-components load cell with 30kHz sampling rate. The variation of peak impact pressures and forces is analyzed in terms of cylinder diameter, inclination angle and location. Also, the pressure distribution on cylindrical surface is examined. The cylinder location and surface position are more important parameters that govern the magnitude and shape of peak pressures, while the cylinder diameter and inclined angle are relatively insignificant. In a certain conditions, the impact phenomenon becomes very unstable which results in a large variation of measured valves in repeated runs.
