자생 생강나무의 조경적 특성 및 번식방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Landscape Characteristics and Propagation Methods of Korean native Lindera obtusiloba Blume)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the growth characteristics and propagation methods of L. obtusiloba as a woody landscape plant. The results are obtained as follows: L. obtusiloba was dioecious shrub and shaped with bush type. Leaves were ovate, obtuse, cordate, 7.05 cm long, 7.20 cm wide, and petiole 2.0 cm long. Flowers of L. obtusiloba were diclinous. Soil acidity ranged from pH 4.06 to 5.53 with the lowest at the Mt. Soo-Ri. Mt. Soo-Ri located near factory district, which was considered to damaged by environmental deteoration. While soil organic matter was highest at Mt. Soo-Ri, inorganic nutrients were low. L. obtusiloba grows in the area with low soil acidity and low content of inorganic. Therefore it seemed to be tolerant to air pollution. L. Obtusiloba was high seed germination rate in the plug box and its shoots were longer than seeding box and softwood cutting of L. obtusiloba showed the rooting rate of 50% at 5,000ppm on June 23. To develop a mass propagation method of Korean native L. obtusiloba through an axillary bud culture as a woody landscape plant, about 2∼3 cm shoots induced from explant were subcultured to new media contained different growth regulators. Shoots multiplied most effectively on a WPM containing 1.0 mg/l BA, producing 5.5 shoots with a shoot length of 2.5 cm per shoot explant.

조사료원에 따른 한국 재래산양의 채식습성에 관한 연구 (A study on the food habits of Korean native goats fed with roughage sources)

  • The object of this experiment was to investigate the food habits of Korean native goats fed with various roughage sources. The experimental trials were conducted at Unbong Animal Genetic Resources Station in 2008. The experimental roughages include five sources and 25 species in all; grasses and legumes: 5 species (mixed grasses, orchardgrass, tall fescue, alfalfa, white clover), native grasses and weeds: 5 species (mixed native grasses, Miscanthus sinensis Anderss, Arundinella hirta (Thunb.) Tanaka, Barnyard grass, short awn, forage crops and straw: 5 species (barley + hairy vetch, wheat + hairy vetch, rye silage, barley silage, baled rice straw), browse and fallen leaves: 5 species (Mixed browse, Oriental white oak, Quercus serrta Thunb., Oriental cherry fallen leaves, Japanese chestnut fallen leaves), and imported hay and straw: 5 species(timothy hay, tall fescue straw, annual ryegrass straw, klinegrass hay, alfalfa hay). Ten Korean native goats were selected which had nearly the same body weight (average $24{\pm}2.8$ kg). The chemical composition and dry matter digestibility of each roughage source and species were significantly different at the sampling area, plant species, growth stages and cutting period (p<0.05). Among all the 25 species of roughages, the favorite intake species order by Korean native goat was observed like this: Quercus aliena, Querancas serrta Thunb and Mixed browse, which was a lower intake compared to other domestic herbivores. The Korean native goats ate more roughages which had low fibrous contents, but high dry matter digestibility. On the other hand, compared to each roughage source, total intake amount by Korean native goats was showed as browse and fallen leaves (33.1%) among trials roughage sources. Based on these results, the food habit of Korean native goats seems to be closer to the browser.

  • 1. 질소 인산 가리의 증시에 따라 수량구성요소는 각각 증대되였으나 등숙률만은 질소의 증시로 저하되는 경향이었다. 2. 전엽의 정도가 클수록 정조중 등숙률 및 완전현미 1,000입중이 저하되었으며 전엽처리간에 유의차가 인정되었다. 3. 엽위별 엽신이 등숙률 정조중 및 완전현미 1,000 입중을 통한 생산에 미치는 영향은 지엽이 61.87-60.18-65.1%, 제2위엽이 17.50-20.65-23.41%, 제3위엽이 12.71-12.73-10.11%, 제4위엽은 7.93-6.44-0.87%로서 하위엽일수록 그의 생산효과가 낮아지는 경향을 보였다.

감마선 조사가 포인세티아의 발근, 생육 및 색상변이에 미치는 영향 (Rooting, Growth, and Color Mutation of Poinsettias Affected by Gamma Radiation)

  • This experiment was carried out to investigate the effects of gamma-radiation on the rooting, growth, and color mutation in poinsettia. Using 10 poinsettia varieties ('Lollipop', 'Little Peace', 'Happy Day', 'Early Bird', 'Pixy Red', 'Happy Time', 'Heidi', 'Red Bell', 'Clara', and 'Scarlet') bred by National Institute of Horticultural and Herbal Science, 100 Gy of gamma ray was irradiated at the stage of callused cuttings. Four weeks after sticking cuttings in the rooting media, 8 cultivars showed 100% of root formation, but 'Early Bird' rooted 24.4% and even died off during the cutting propagation. After planting rooted cuttings, survival rate until flowering time varied among irradiated cultivars. While 'Pixy Red' and 'Heidi' survived about 98%, 'Clara', 'Happy Day', and 'Early Bird' survived lesser than 30%. All irradiated plants showed remarkably shorter plant height, lesser branch numbers than non-irradiated control plants. Thirty color mutants were obtained among 281 plants survived until flowering time. Nine mutants were complete color mutated branches, whereas 21 mutants were partially color mutated bracts and transitional leaves. Color patterns mutated by 100 Gy of gamma ray were divided into pink, hot pink, light red and spotted (pink spots with red main color). Pink mutants were commonly obtained. Complete color mutants were discovered from 4 plants of 'Pixy Red', 2 plants of 'Red Bell' and 3 plants of Lollipop.

  • 평엔드밀 가공된 측벽 형상에 공구 형상이 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위하여, 공구 형상을 비틀림각, 절삭날 수, 직경으로 구분하여 특징지었으며, 가공면의 기하학적 특성은 서로 직교하는 이송방향 형상과 축방향 형상으로 나누어 고려하였다. 각 방향의 형상 특성은 공구와 공작물 및 절삭날과 공작물의 간섭 영역으로부터 계산한 순간 절삭면적을 바탕으로 추정하였으며, 추정의 타당성을 가공면 형상 및 배분력 측정을 통하여 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 이송방향 형상의 결함은 공구 퇴출 및 공구 경로의 곡률반경이 변하는 구간에서 나타나며, 이외의 구간에서는 축방향 형상의 결함이 주를 이루는 것이 확인되었다. 측벽의 가공정밀도를 향상시키기 위해서는, 상대적으로 직경이 작고, 비틀림각이 큰 절삭날을 많이 갖는 엔드밀을 사용하여 상향절삭 하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 추천된다.

  • 본 실험은 장미 삽수의 조제방법이 발근과 발근 후 생육에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 수행하였다. 실험재료로는 Rosa hybrida 'Red Sandra'와 'Little Marble' 두 품종을 사용하였다. 삽수 길이를 달리한 실험은 'Red Sandra'는 4, 7, 10cm, 'Little Marble'은 3, 5, 7cm 로 처리하였다. 소엽수를 달리한 실험은 삽수당 소엽 5매엽을 0, 2, 4, 또는 5매 남겼다. 삽수 채취부위를 달리한 실험은 꽃봉오리로부터 소엽 5매엽을 첫 마디로 하여 마디별 $1{\sim}2,\;3{\sim}4,\;5{\sim}6,\;7{\sim}8$마디로 4처리하였다. 발근과 생장에 있어 삽수 길이는 두 품종 모두 7cm가 좋았다. 발근률에 있어 소엽을 5매 모두 남기고 $1{\sim}2$마디를 삽수로 이용시 두 품종 모두 좋은 결과를 나타냈다.

추기의 가지뽕 수확방법에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Harvest Methods for the Branch-rearing in Autumn)

  • 추기에 있어서의 가지뽕 수확방법에 대하여 연구한 결과를 들면 다음과 같다. (1) 초추잠기에는 누애의 사육양에 따라서 왜소지 또는 정상지조를 1∼2본간벌수확을 하거나 지조하부에서 일부적엽수확을 하는 것이 좋다. (1) 4영기에 있어서는 왜소지간벌, 정상지조의 일부간벌 또는 중간벌채, 지조하부에서의 적엽 등 어떤 방법이나 수양에는 별 영향이 없기 때문에, 엽임, 노력관계들을 참작하여 이들 방법으로 수확하도록 하는 것이 타당할 것 같다. (3) 5영기에는 수량도 적지 않고 노력이 적게드는 수확방법, 즉 뽕밭의 한쪽부터 차례로 각주의 지조전부를 중간벌채수확 해가는 방법으로 수확을 하는 것이 가장 실용적이다. (4) 추잠기 또는 만추잠기에 가지뽕으로 중간벌채수확을 한 후의 잔조에서 적엽을 할 때에는 여름베기를 한 뽕나무나 봄베기를 한 뽕나무나 가리지 않고 노력이 덜 들고 간편한 훑어 따기로 하여도 무방하다.

뽕잎 발효 효소액 김치의 품질특성 및 중학교 급식 수응도 평가 (Quality Characteristics of Kimchi with Mulberry Leaves Enzyme Liquid and its Acceptability by Middle School Students)

  • We investigated the effects of Mulberry leaves fermented enzyme liquid(MLE) addition on the quality of Kimchi which were fermented at $5^{\circ}C$ during 30 days. MLE was added to salted cabbage at concentrations of 0%(C), 0.4%(MLE1), 0.8%(MLE2), and 1.2%(MLE3) (w/w). pH in Kimchi added upon 1.2% of MLE, was higher than that of Kimchi without MLE after 12 days of fermentation. The titratable acidity was increased by the addition of MLE, and particularly Kimchi added 1.2% of MLE showed the slowest changed level. The degree of salinity were decreased in Kimchi with MLE as well as control group. However, MLE1 showed significantly lower salinity than MLE2, MLE3 and control group (p<0.001). L, a, b values of control group indicated significantly higher than the Kimchi with enzyme liquid concentrations(MLE1~MLE3). As compared with the control group, the cutting force in treated groups were increased during the fermentation period, and especially MLE3 showed the highest value of hardness. Moreover, that growth of lactic acid bacteria and total bacteria were inhibited by the addition of MLE. In the sensory assessment, the color, taste, and overall preferences were higher in MLE2 than control group and MLE1, MLE3. The acceptability of MLE as an additive in Kimchi among middle school students was higher than in the control sample, with an optimum additive of 0.8% MLE, based on the lowest volume of leftovers. Therefore, it was confirmed that addition of 0.8% MLE appears to be an acceptable approach to enhance the quality of Kimchi without reduction of acceptability.

뽕잎 추출액 첨가 김치의 품질 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Quality Characteristics of Kimchi with added Mulberry Leaves Extracts)

  • In this study, the effects of Mulberry leaves extract (ME) addition on the quality of Kimchi was investigated during 30 days of fermentation at $5^{\circ}C$. 'Fuji'/M.9-T337 묘목의 삭아접 시기, 대목절단 시기, 적엽 및 Promalin 처리가 나무의 생장과 측지발생에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Times of Chip Budding and Rootstock Removal, Leaf Removal Plus Promalin Application on the Tree Growth and Lateral Development for 'Fuji'/M.9-T337 Nursery Trees)

  • 대목재식 후 2년차에 측지가 10개 이상 발생 된 우량묘를 생산하기 위하여 삭아접시기 및 대목 절단시기에 따른 수체생육 특성과 측지발생에 미치는 적엽 및 promalin 처리 효과를 시험한 결과, 대목재식 후 약 90일 정도 경과한 6월중순경에 삭아접을 실시하는 것이 4월 중순에 삭아접을 하는 것보다 재식 1년차의 수체생육은 떨어지지만 접아고사주율이 평균 8% 정도 낮았다. 또한 M.9 대목 절단시기에 있어서는 삭아접전절단(ECCB)을 실시하는 것보다 삭아 접후절단을 할 경우, 접아고사율이 14% 정도 낮아 수체 생장의 균일도가 높으면서 접목효율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 재식 2년차인 1998 년도에 접목시기 및 M.9 대목 절단시기에 따른 적엽(3회) 및 promalin(3회) 처리효과를 조사한 결과, 6월 중순 삭아접후절단(LCCB) 처리 구에서 측지발생 효과 및 화아형성 정도가 다른 처리에 비하여 가장 좋았다. 묘목 특성으로는 수고 209cm, 측지수 13.8개, 화아형성수 9.0개로 우량한 측지묘 조건에 부합한 묘목이 생산되었다.
