  • This study suggest the development and application of the Interactive Design Toolkit as a participatory design method for general customer who are non-expert on design activity to participate in design process of mass customization. In order to let general customers to express their design needs, we have to make a familiar and direct communication method for them. And, customer's design needs should be transformed into digital media. This study define the Interactive Design Toolkit as a design tool for customer participation by direct manipulation of computer system for simulation of design needs by customer themselves. The Interactive Design Toolkit is based on a PC-based image perception system and its application. User can make virtual models in virtual space by manipulating physical objects in real world. And, The toolkit can be used in the field of participatory design for deliverer side customization, especially in system kitchen which is manufactured and distributed in modular system. More improved design toolkit for manipulating 3 dimensional shape is needed for consumer product design and car styling.

  • The domestic tourism industry mostly relies on quantitative surveys for customer satisfaction. However, customer participation of the questionnaires is extremely low and the improvement of the dissatisfactory factors is not being performed promptly. In this paper, we propose a new topic map system and prove its empirical effectiveness to improve the accuracy of customer feedback information and the efficiency of the analysis process. The topic map system is a system for analyzing large amounts of customer feedback data in real time. It uses text mining and ontology techniques by integrating data collected over a certain period from real-time SNS and quantitative data obtained from existing survey systems. The effect after improving the analyzed factors of dissatisfaction is also a new and innovative evaluation system for monitoring customer satisfaction in real time. The classification based on this integrated data is a classification system that is specific to the product or the customer. According to this classification, it is possible to measure the effect of the recognition and improvement of the complaint factor in real time on the topic map system. This provides a sophisticated prioritization of the improvement factors and enables customer satisfaction quality control as a PDCA feedback system. In addition, the survey period and costs are greatly shortened, and responses can be more precise to the existing survey method. As a practical application, this system is applied to the largest H travel agency in Korea to prove the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed system.

So, this thesis makes an overture of a possibility for utilizing PCRM, a way for citizens to participate in Police Administration, by utilizing IT technologies in which everybody can participate without difficulty. The utilization ways are, on a large scale, classified with a macroscopic aspect and microscopic aspect. One of the macroscopic aspects is, first, the consideration of access to services and convenience in utilization. Second, services should have a both-sidedproperty. Ultimately, citizens'participation should have a positive mutual participation level. One of the microscopic aspects is, first, that the police organizations have to establish a strategy to analyze and fractionate customers. Second, the police organizations have to make an effort to develop policy services and P.R strategies. Third, police organizations have to make an effort to manage customers. Fourth, police organizations have to execute customer management in general. So, all of the police organizations have to maintain unity, to some extent, about citizen participation plazas. In addition, at the same time, consciousness aspects have to be accompanied for the reasonable utilization of PCRM. Citizens have to cultivate citizen consciousness, ownership consciousness for society, and positive participation consciousness to solve social problems.
